Cloud storage as a popular application in cloud services, are developing from single cloud service provider towards multiple cloud service providers. As a consequence, users need to manage their files from different sources and share in multi-clouds. While the conventional access control models are no longer suitable in multi-clouds environment. Therefore, a multi-clouds access control model based on XACML, named MCACM, is proposed here to implement access control in multi-clouds environment. In this model, cross-clouds access control is enabled through extending standard XACML framework. At l

It remains challenging to accurately classify complicated clouds owing to the various types of clouds and their distribution on multiple layers. In this paper, multi-band radiation information from the geostationary satellite Himawari-8 and the cloud classification product of the polar orbit satellite CloudSat from June to September 2018 are investigated. Based on sample sets matched by two types of satellite data, a random forest (RF) algorithm was applied to train a model, and a retrieval method was developed for cloud classification. This paper presents a multi-box interpolation method to estimate point clouds during aerial-aquatic transition. Our proposed method is developed based on an investigation of noise characteristics of aerial point clouds and aquatic point clouds. To evaluate the performance of realistic point cloud estimation, we compare the interpolation method with the Gaussian mixture method. We also investigate how single-box and multi-box approaches deal with noise in point cloud estimation. The simulation and the experimental results show that the estimated point cloud is accurate even when the aerial and

The recognition of three-dimensional (3D) lidar (light detection and ranging) point clouds remains a significant issue in point cloud processing. Traditional point cloud recognition employs the 3D point clouds from the whole object. Nevertheless, the lidar data is a collection of two-and-a-half-dimensional (2.5D) point clouds (each 2.5D point cloud comes from a single view) obtained by scanning the object within a certain field angle by lidar. To deal with this problem, we initially propose a novel representation which expresses 3D point clouds using 2.5D point clouds from multiple views and t
