Abstract:
Abstract. This article describes a new qualification concept for dimensional measurements on optical measuring systems. Using the example of a prototypical multi-scale multi-sensor fringe projection system for production-related inspections of sheet-bulk metal-formed parts, current measuring procedures of the optical system are introduced. Out of the shown procedures' deficiencies, a new concept is developed for determining the orientations and positions of the sensors' measuring ranges in a common coordinate system. The principle element of the concept is a newly developed flexible reference artefact, adapted to the measuring task of the fringe projection system. Due to its dull surface, the artefact is optimized for optical measuring systems, like the used fringe projection sensors. By measuring the reference artefact with each fringe projection sensor and aligning the resulting data sets on a digital reference model of the artefact, sensor-specific transformation matrices can be calculated which allow transformation of the sensors' data sets into a common coordinate system, without the need for any overlapping areas. This approach is concluded in an automated measuring procedure, using alignment algorithms from commercial available software where necessary. With the automated measuring procedure, geometrical relations between individual measured features can be determined and dimensional measuring beyond the measuring range of a sensor became possible. Due to a series of experiments, the advantages of the new qualification concept in comparison with the current measuring procedures are finally revealed.

Abstract:
Active learning has been demonstrated to be an effective approach to reducing human labeling effort in multimedia annotation tasks. However, most of the existing active learning methods for video annotation are studied in a relatively simple context where concepts are sequentially annotated with fixed effort and only a single modality is applied. However, we usually have to deal with multiple modalities, and sequentially annotating concepts without preference cannot suitably assign annotation effort. To address these two issues, in this paper we propose a multi-concept multi-modality active learning method for video annotation in which multiple concepts and multiple modalities can be simultaneously taken into consideration. In each round of active learning, this method selects the concept that is expected to get the highest performance gain and a batch of suitable samples to be annotated for this concept. Then, a graph-based semi-supervised learning is conducted on each modality for the selected concept. The proposed method is able to sufficiently explore the human effort by considering both the learnabilities of different concepts and the potentials of different modalities. Experimental results on TRECVID 2005 benchmark have demonstrated its effectiveness and efficiency.

Abstract:
The construction of concept lattices is an important research topic in formal concept analysis. Inspired by multi-granularity rough sets, multi-granularity formal concept analysis has become a new hot research issue. This paper mainly studies the construction methods of concept lattices in multi-granularity formal context. The relationships between concept forming operators under different granularity are discussed. The mutual transformation methods of formal concepts under different granularity are presented. In addition, the approaches of obtaining coarse-granularity concept lattice by fine-granularity concept lattice and fine-granularity concept lattice by coarse-granularity concept lattice are examined. The related algorithms for generating concept lattices are proposed. The practicability of the method is illustrated by an example.

Abstract:
Digital Steganography means hiding sensitive data inside a cover object ina way that is invisible to un-authorized persons. Many proposed steganography techniques in spatial domain may achieve high invisibility requirement but sacrifice the good robustness against attacks. In some cases, weneed to take in account not just the invisibility but also we need to thinkabout other requirement which is the robustness of recovering the embedded secrete messages. In this paper we propose a new steganoraphicscheme that aims to achieve the robustness even the stego image attackedby steganalyzers. Furthermore, we proposed a scheme which is more robust against JPEG compression attack compared with other traditionalsteganography schemes.

Abstract:
Wideband dipole antennas are proposed using the multi-mode resonance concept. By symmetrically introducing one-pair or two-pair of stubs at the nulls of current distribution of the second odd-order mode, two radiation modes are excited in a single, center-fed dipole resonator. Using these stubs, the second odd-order mode gradually moves down to its first counterpart, resulting to achieve a wideband radiation with two resonances. Prototype antennas are then fabricated to experimentally validate the design approach. Compared with a reference dipole with a bandwidth of 17%, the proposed dipole's bandwidth can be effectively increased to 49.7%.
