Abstract:
WebRTC (Web Real-Time Communication) is a technology that enables browser-to-browser communication. Therefore, a signalling mechanism must be negotiated to create a connection between peers. The main aim of this paper is to create and implement a WebRTC hybrid signalling mechanism named (WebNSM) for video conferencing based on the Socket.io (API) mechanism and Firefox. WebNSM was designed over a combination of different topologies, such as simplex, star and mesh. Therefore it offers several communications at the same time as one-to-one (unidirectional/bidirectional), one-to-many (unidirectiona

Abstract:
A video conference system based on SIP is introduced in this paper. It elaborates the structure and design of the system's functionality. The meeting control center of core part of this system is introduced in detail, and the specific implementation methods and control flow is mentioned. The system uses a hierarchical design idea. It is an extension of a strong multi-party video conferencing system solution which utilizes more mature network technology and encryption technology to ensure t real-time and safety of the system.

Abstract:
The widespread use of personal multimedia-rich devices and multi-party video conferencing have made face-to-face communication among multiple users a promising feature. This thesis presents a multi-party conferencing solution with network coding naturally embedded. Our fundamental goal is to study if network coding brings benefits to multi-party conferencing. In this thesis, we first review an existing network coded solution for multi-party conferencing. Then, this solution is evaluated in our framework of evaluating a new transmission protocol for multi-party conferencing. Also, an investigat
