Abstract:
In modern world, communication devices need to be operated for more than one frequency bands. Lot of research works were carried out in the field of multiband antennas. The one major concern in the design of multiband patch antenna are the gain and bandwidth. Both gain and bandwidth of the multi band antenna can be improved for the better performance. In this paper a triangular multiband antenna is designed and the gain of the antenna is enhanced by the blend of reactive impedance surface and Frequency selective surface. The proposed antenna resonates 3.4 GHz, 4.2 GHz, 6.75 GHz,7.1 GHz, 7.5 GH

Here an electrically small multiband antenna based on spoof localized surface plasmons (LSPs) has been proposed using corrugated ring resonator printed on a thin dielectric substrate with complementary metallic spiral structure (MSS) on the ground plane. It has been found that the resonant frequencies of spoof LSPs redshift by tuning the arm length of the complementary MSS, which leads to the miniaturization of the antenna. The fabricated multiband antenna has a small size of only 0.11λ × 0.1λ, covering GSM900, GSM1800, and WiFi bands. Such electrically small multiband antenna with high gain i

Deep learning methods have been successfully applied for multispectral and hyperspectral images classification due to their ability to extract hierarchical abstract features. However, the performance of these methods relies heavily on large-scale training samples. In this paper, we propose a three-dimensional spatial-adaptive Siamese residual network (3D-SaSiResNet) that requires fewer samples and still enhances the performance. The proposed method consists of two main steps: construction of 3D spatial-adaptive patches and Siamese residual network for multiband images classification. In the fi

Abstract In this paper, an effective medium ratio obeying, negative refractive index, compact meta-atom was designed, manufactured and tested for operation in a multiband microwave regime. The proposed meta-atom structure obeyed better effective medium ratio. The results of the measurement were verified by the commercially available Computer Simulation Technology (CST) Studio Suite 2014 simulator. The effective medium ratio obeying meta-atom displayed multiband response, in conjunction with negative refractive index property over a certain frequency band in the microwave frequency span. Furthe

The paper considers the problem of optimizing gas-discharge sources of multiband UV radiation – excilamps. A method is proposed for estimating the ratio of partial pressures of the components of a gas mixture, which makes it possible to simplify the process of developing a multiband excilamp with the desired power ratio of the emission bands. It is shown that the optimization of a multiband excilamp on a mixture of one noble gas with several halogen carriers can be reduced to the problem of optimizing an excilamp on a two-component mixture.
