The additives AKİ-26 and AKİ-26d - calcium salts of condensation products (С8-С12; С12) of alkylphenol, formaldehyde, piperidine and their carbonated versions of AKİ-126 have been obtained. The additives obtained have good functional properties. In anticorrosion and antixodizing properties AKİ-26 and AKİ-26d additives are superior to the analogues АСК and ИХП-101; AKİ-26 and AKİ-26d additives by anticorrosion properties surpass the foreign additives ВНИИНП-714 and МАСК. Abstract:
In world practice, additives based on alkylphenols have become widespread. This distribution of alkylphenol additives is explained by a wide range of performance properties, the relative availability of raw materials and simple production technology compared to the production of other additives. Prior to 1970, alkylphenol additive production in the former Soviet Union accounted for approximately 80% of total lubricating oil additive production. Currently, 70-75% of chemical additives based on alkylphenols are used in industry. The growing power of modern gasoline and diesel engines, the tighte

The feasibility and effectivity of recycling waste rubber and waste plastic (WRP) into asphalt binder as a waste treatment approach has been documented. However, directly blending WRP with asphalt binder brings secondary environmental pollution. Recent research has shown that the addition of WRP into asphalt binder may potentially improve the workability of asphalt binder without significantly compromising its mechanical properties. This study evaluates the feasibility of using the additives derived from WRP as a multifunctional additive which improves both the workability and mechanical prope

The additional substances commonly used for polymeric materials mostly have a negative impact either on the natural environment or human health. Therefore, there is a need for replacing these compounds by more pro-ecological ones. In this paper, some natural antioxidants of plant origin, including xanthone, rutin hydrate, quercetin and a mixture of various polyphenols derived from green tea, were proposed as multifunctional as well as eco-friendly additional compounds for polymers. These substances were implemented by means of the impregnation process into ethylene-propylene copolymer (EPM) ma
