The implemented design is synthesized on Cyclone IIand Stratix III to know the performance. The design is implemented with a focus of reducing the resourcesused. Some approaches resulted in the reduced number of DSP blocks and others resulted in reducednumber of LUTs. There are many approaches to solve the UC and OPF problems separately, but approaches to solve them jointly, i.e. to solve the GUC problem, are quite scarce. Abstract:
Public sector reforms of recent decades in Europe have promoted managerialism and aimed at introducing private sector thinking and practices. However, with regard to public sector executives' self-understanding, managerial role identities have not replaced bureaucratic ones; rather, components from both paradigms have combined. In this article, we introduce a bi-dimensional approach (attitudes and practices) that allows for different combinations and forms of hybridity. Empirically, we explore the role identities of public sector executives across Europe, building on survey data from over 7,00

Abstract:
Modern agriculture manages competitive weed species through the intensive use of herbicides to ensure crop productivity. Resistance to aryloxyphenoxypropionate and sulphonylurea herbicides in the problem weed black-grass (Alopecurus myosuroides) is now a major problem in the United Kingdom, affecting approximately 80% of cropland. Increasing numbers of black-grass populations now exhibit multiple herbicide resistance (MHR), based on an enhanced expression of the biosystem responsible for herbicide detoxification termed the “Xenome”. The xenome is composed of cytochrome P450s (CYPs), glutathion

Abstract:
This work concentrates on the application of diversity techniques and space time block coding for future mobile wireless communications. The initial system analysis employs a space-time coded OFDM transmitter over a multipath Rayleigh channel, and a receiver which uses a selection combining diversity technique. The performance of this combined scenario is characterised in terms of the bit error rate and throughput. A novel four element QOSTBC scheme is introduced, it is created by reforming the detection matrix of the original QOSTBC scheme, for which an orthogonal channel matrix is derived.

A sampling strategy with 4:1 sampling rate is used to realize the proposed multiple-block-based search area prediction scheme in order to compromise the tradeoff between the predicted accuracy and the required computation time. According to our proposed search area prediction scheme, this paper then pre

碩士
中原大學
電機工程研究所
91
The objective of the thesis is to present the block-based algorithm for multiple description image transmission. In this algorithm, the wavelet coefficients of the image to be delivered are partitioned into different groups including the low-pass and high-pass subbands. Then, the groups of high-pass subband are divided with block-based algorithm. The wavelet coefficients in each block and the group of low-pass subband are independently encoded using the set partitioning in hierarchical trees (SPIHT) technique. The decoders of the transmission system can reconstru
