The article presents the results of the analysis of data on lightning discharges, registered in 2021 on the territory of the Murmansk region by the non-commercial lightning detection network Blitzortung. Despite the relatively low percentage of registered lightning discharges, the Blitzortung network is the only available source of information on lightning activity in the Murmansk region. The analysis of lightning activity in 2021 on the territory of the Murmansk region is carried out, data on the impact of lightning on the objects of the Kola Power System are presented.

Seventeen liverwort species are reported for the first time from Lapland State Nature Reserve. Two of them, Nowellia curvifolia and Frullania tamarisci, are new to the Murmansk Region. Calypogeia suecica, Arnellia fennica and Porella cordaeana were for the second time found in the Murmansk Region. Five species, Haplomitrium hookeri, Kurzia pauciflora, Lophozia ascendens, Scapania simmonsii and Tritomaria exsectiformis, are rare species in the region, known from few localities and included in the Red Data Book of Murmansk Region.

The genus Schistidium is revised in view of modern concept for the first time. Species from KPABG and INEP herbaria collected in Murmansk Province were revised. Schistidium genus is one of largest genera in the region and contains 29 species and 3 varieties (points of occurrence for 3 species based on literature data only), from which 13 — are rare for Murmansk Province, Schistidium crenatum H. H. Blom — species from Red Data Book of the Murmansk Region (2014). Paper contains data on distribution and ecology for 26 species and 3 varieties from KPABG and INEP collections.

For the observation period 2022–2023. 27 species (9 nesting) belonging to 4 orders and 14 families were recorded. Materials on nesting of some species are given. Using a cartographic application, a spatial analysis of the association of birds with biotopes was carried out. The database has been formed.
