Detta projekt har handlat om att komponera musik med hjälp av loop-pedal. Musiken som komponerades skulle också kunna framföras på loop-pedal. Målet var att skriva två låtar för loop-pedal och att bli mer förtrogen med att komponera och framföra live-loopingmusik. I det här arbetet har jag intresserat mig för stråkarrangering till olika typer av popmusik. Jag har jämfört tre olika metoder och förutsättningar för att skriva stråkarrangemang, varav ett var till egenkomponerad musik och två skrevs till musik komponerad av andra. Jag jämförde metoderna med huvudsakligt fokus på fyra aspekter: effektivitet, upplevelse av kreativitet, musikaliskt resultat och egen tillfredsställelse. Mitt syfte var att undersöka hur ett val av arrangeringsmetod kan påverka både processen och resultatet, samt att utforska hur jag fungerar som stråkarrangör.

Det innebär att få en akustisk gitarr att låta likt en jazztrio med gitarr, bas och trummor. Denna uppsats handlar om hur fyra olika musikproduktionsprocesser påverkas två olika arbetsmetoder. Jag utgår från 4 st. egna refräng-idéer inom pop/contemporary-genren. Idéerna innefattar melodi och viss text. Låt A1 och A2 måste jag skriva klart helt och hållet, gällande melodi, text, ackordik och form, innan jag får gå vidare till arrangering.
