Abstract:
The ongoing SARS-Cov-2 pandemic had many drastic effects upon society beyond the illness and death it caused. Pandemic mitigation measures disrupted and altered behaviors related to social mobility, significantly increasing the time spent at home compared to the pre-pandemic period. Further, it was well documented that social anxiety and stress increased at a population level. Early in the pandemic there was speculation in the popular media that reporting of paranormal phenomena (e.g., UFOs, ghosts, etc.) increased due to factors associated with the pandemic. Abstract:
Urban function evolution (UFE) has become more and more complex in emerging cities. However, insufficient theoretical support exists for the visual expression of the spatial correlation between UFE patterns. In order to fill this gap, we use the 2013 and 2022 Point-of-Interest (POI) data of Shenzhen city to implement the funtion2vec model based on the node2vec model and urban tree theory. In this model, we first divide UFE patterns into three categories: Function Replace (FR), Function Newly Added (FNA), and Function Vanishing (FV). Then, we calculate the correlation between those UFE patterns

PurposeCurrent multi-source image fusion methods frequently overlook the issue of detailed features when employing deep learning technology, resulting in inadequate target feature information. In real-world mission scenarios, such as military information acquisition or medical image enhancement, the prominence of target feature information is of paramount importance. To address these challenges, this paper introduces a novel infrared-visible light fusion model.Design/methodology/approachLeveraging the foundational architecture of the traditional DenseFuse model, this paper optimizes the backbo

Abstract:
The houses made in Uruguay under the cooperative system since the beginning of the 70s, are recognized as a socially and politically legitimized way of collective construction of the habitat. From its bases, the system promotes a collective model that forms an alternative to the hegemonic ways of the market to produce habitable space with a national territory reach. The proposal presented is the result of the link between academic networks and the Gender Area of the Uruguayan Federation of Mutual Aid Cooperatives (FUCVAM) with the aim of building a critical and proactive look at the modes of p
