AbstractIn this study we clarify the phylogeny and reassess the current taxonomy of the Micarea prasina group, focusing especially on the M. byssacea and M. micrococca complexes. The phylogeny was investigated using ITS, mtSSU and Mcm7 regions from 25 taxa belonging to the M. prasina group. A total of 107 new sequences were generated. Data were analyzed using maximum parsimony and maximum likelihood methods. The results reveal five undescribed well-supported lineages. Abstract In this study, we examine osculating-type curves with Frenet-type frame in Myller configuration for Euclidean 3-space E 3. We present the necessary characterizations for a curve to be an osculating-type curve. Characterizations originating from the natural structure of Myller configuration are a generalization of osculating curves according to the Frenet frame. Also, we introduce some new results that are not valid for osculating curves. Then, we give an illustrative numerical example supported by a figure.

A new late Osagean (Lower Mississippian) crinoid fauna is described from the Muldraugh Member of the Borden Formation of central Kentucky. The Muldraugh Member records a mixed carbonate-siliciclastic tempestite-dominated ramp environment. We want to consider the case of an eighteenth-century optical device, the Claude mirror, as a starting point for an artistic collaboration. The Claude mirror is a small black convex mirror named after the painter Claude Lorrain and used by late eighteenth-century and early nineteenth-century painters and travellers for viewing landscapes.
