Abstract:
Práce na Open Source databázích pokračují nezadržitelným tempem. Vývojáři se musí vyrovnat s rostoucími požadavky uživatelů na objem dat ukládaných do databází, na náročnější požadavky na odezvu atd. Zatím nedostižnou metou je implementace celého standardu ANSI SQL 200x. Všechny databáze z velké trojky (Firebird, MySQL a PostgreSQL) používají multigenerační architekturu, cenově orientované hledání optimálního prováděcího plánu, write ahead log atd. MySQL se profiluje jako SQL databáze schopná používat specializované databázové backendy schopné maximální efektivity pro určité konkrétní prostředí. PostgreSQL je široce použitelná databáze, těžící z vynikající stability, s perfektní rozšiřitelností a komfortním prostředím. Konečně Firebird je vynikající embeded databáze, která se osvědčuje v tisících instalacích na desktopech.<br />Podle původního plánu mělo dojít k uvolnění verze 8.3 koncem léta - mělo jít o verzi obsahující patche dokončené pro 8.2, ale v té době nedostatečně otestované. Nakonec se ukázalo, že ty nejdůležitější patche je třeba dopracovat. Jednalo se o tak atraktivní vlastnosti, že se rozhodlo s vydáním nové verze počkat. 8.3 obsahuje integrovaný fulltext, podporu opožděného potvrzování (asynchronní commit), synchronizované sekvenční čtení datových souborů, úspornější ukládání dynamických datových typů (kratších 256byte), HOT updates a sofistikovanější aktualizaci indexů (hot indexes). Z patchů připravených pro 8.2 se v 8.3 neobjeví podpora bitmapových indexů a podpora aktualizovatelných pohledů. Původní řešení založené na pravidlech (rules) bylo příliš komplikované. 8.3 obsahuje podporu aktualizovatelných kurzorů, a je docela dobře možné, že aktualizovatelné pohledy budou ve verzi 8.4 implementovány právě s pomocí této třídy kurzorů.<br />Vývoj pokračuje implementací dalších modulů SQL. Ve verzi 8.3 je to konkrétně SQL/XML (rozšíření ANSI SQL), která umožňuje operace s XML dokumenty přímo v databázi a zjednodušuje generování XML dokumentů. Zásadní (interní) změnou je zkrácení hlavičky řádku z 28 bajtů na 24 bajtů. Další změnou, která by měla vést k minimalizaci velikosti uložených dat je diverzifikace typu varlena. Tento typ se v PostgreSQL používá pro serializaci hodnot všech typů s variabilní délkou. Trochu připomíná string v Pascalu. První byty nesou informaci o délce, další nesou obsah. Starší verze PostgreSQL znaly jen typ varlena s 4byte informací o délce. 8.3 podporuje také typ varlena s 1byte záhlavím. Úspora by se měla projevit hlavně u typu NUMERIC a krátkých řetězců. K překladu PostgreSQL lze počínaje touto verzí použít jak gcc, MINGW tak Microsoft Visual C++ (na platformě Microsoft Windows).

Abstract:
Internet technology is developing very rapidly especially on the database system. Today's database has led to data that cannot be processed into the traditional way that we call big data. Some data stored on the server requires a way for the data to be valid and intact for that transaction mechanism appears on RDBMS which ensures that the data stored will become a unified whole as in customer account data, withdrawal of money at ATMs, e-transactions -commerce and so on. Of course the use of transactions in a database by not using Atomic transactions has a difference in terms of traffic on the network. This research appears by analyzing network traffic or density from a database that uses transactions and not to users who access them. This research method uses a questionnaire method by distributing questionnaires quantitatively to 300 respondents. The results of the study of approximately 300 respondents, researchers get the results that the use of transactions in databases and databases without transactions after being accessed by 300 people, the densest network is a network owned by a system that uses transaction features, this is because there is a slight increase of about 13% of traffic when compared to a network without transactions. This statement shows that two-way communication from a database that has the transaction provides feedback to the user so that the data is reliable as an indicator that the data has been stored safely. Further research can be done by finding other information or a study of big data using the atomic transaction model.

Abstract:
E-Government is a result of technological advances in the government field. E-government assessment is needed to encourage the development of e-government in a better direction. The e-Government assessment can be measured using the Egovbench application. Egovbench performs crawling to obtain information from related websites or social media. The process of crawling done by Egovbench produces extensive data, which reduced performance in data processing. Therefore, there is a need for a database solution that has the best performance such as high processing speed and small database size. This study examined the comparison between relational databases and non-relational databases based on selected metrics to obtain the most suitable database solution for Egovbench. The results show that the MySQL database has the advantage of complex query processing and the use of the database with the smallest storage space. MongoDB database has the advantage of low data transfer volumes. Couchbase database has the advantage of short and straightforward query processing with a high number. The evaluation results show that MySQL is more suitable for Egovbench needs, which is the best response time and query per second. MySQL outperformed the other two databases on backup and storage file sizes testing.

Upaya kesehatan tersebut diselenggarakan dengan menitikberatkan kepada pelayananuntuk masyarakat luas guna mencapai derajad kesehatan yang optimal, tanpa mengabaikan mutupelayanan kepada perorangan. NoSQL databases are new architectures developed to remedy the various weaknesses that have affected relational databases in highly distributed systems such as cloud computing, social networks, electronic commerce. Several companies loyal to traditional relational SQL databases for several decades seek to switch to the new “NoSQL” databases to meet the new requirements related to the change of scale in data volumetry, the load increases, the diversity of types of data handled, and geographic distribution. This paper develops a comparative study in which the authors will evaluate the performance of two databases very widespread in the field: MySQL as a relational database and MongoDB as a NoSQL database. To accomplish this confrontation, this research uses the Yahoo! Cloud Serving Benchmark (YCSB). This contribution is to provide some answers to choose the appropriate database management system for the type of data used and the type of processing performed on that data.

Abstract:
Diploma thesis is about creating server application that process and interprets data from the database. Main aim of such application is able to process a large number of database requests in real-time environment. Provided database contains records of measuring download speed and quality of mobile connection via different radio technology from various providers. Those measured data are sent from users all around the world and amount of data collected is still growing. Therefore created server application can adapt to increasing size of database thanks to aggregation. This method of aggregation and use of index in database tables are further discussed in the theoretical part. Mainly putting indexes in tables produce significant acceleration of processing database requests. Final product of this thesis is an application that consist of three components: a server application running aggregation, website that interprets measured data and back-end interface providing measured data as well. Data at the website are presented in form of graphs for different countries and used radio technologies. Web address and user manual for finished applications are provided in the fourth chapter of diploma thesis. In the last part of thesis are performed various speed tests of programmed application that confirm the effectiveness of selected and described methods to accelerate work with the database.

To create the new system will be used HTML and PHP languages, as a database server will be used MySQL. The first section contains information about data modeling. In the next part there is description of UML language and Use Case diagram for users of system. The main part of the thesis is description of the created system. There are views of screens which can be used by users. Multiuser operation is realized by users rights and definitions enter to the system. The whole database is created as a web application. Application will be uploaded to the company server. Users start the system through their web browser.
