Abstract:
Práce na Open Source databázích pokračují nezadržitelným tempem. Vývojáři se musí vyrovnat s rostoucími požadavky uživatelů na objem dat ukládaných do databází, na náročnější požadavky na odezvu atd. Zatím nedostižnou metou je implementace celého standardu ANSI SQL 200x. Všechny databáze z velké trojky (Firebird, MySQL a PostgreSQL) používají multigenerační architekturu, cenově orientované hledání optimálního prováděcího plánu, write ahead log atd. MySQL se profiluje jako SQL databáze schopná používat specializované databázové backendy schopné maximální efektivity pro určité konkrétní prostředí. PostgreSQL je široce použitelná databáze, těžící z vynikající stability, s perfektní rozšiřitelností a komfortním prostředím. Konečně Firebird je vynikající embeded databáze, která se osvědčuje v tisících instalacích na desktopech.<br />Podle původního plánu mělo dojít k uvolnění verze 8.3 koncem léta - mělo jít o verzi obsahující patche dokončené pro 8.2, ale v té době nedostatečně otestované. Nakonec se ukázalo, že ty nejdůležitější patche je třeba dopracovat. Jednalo se o tak atraktivní vlastnosti, že se rozhodlo s vydáním nové verze počkat. 8.3 obsahuje integrovaný fulltext, podporu opožděného potvrzování (asynchronní commit), synchronizované sekvenční čtení datových souborů, úspornější ukládání dynamických datových typů (kratších 256byte), HOT updates a sofistikovanější aktualizaci indexů (hot indexes). Z patchů připravených pro 8.2 se v 8.3 neobjeví podpora bitmapových indexů a podpora aktualizovatelných pohledů. Původní řešení založené na pravidlech (rules) bylo příliš komplikované. 8.3 obsahuje podporu aktualizovatelných kurzorů, a je docela dobře možné, že aktualizovatelné pohledy budou ve verzi 8.4 implementovány právě s pomocí této třídy kurzorů.<br />Vývoj pokračuje implementací dalších modulů SQL. Ve verzi 8.3 je to konkrétně SQL/XML (rozšíření ANSI SQL), která umožňuje operace s XML dokumenty přímo v databázi a zjednodušuje generování XML dokumentů. Zásadní (interní) změnou je zkrácení hlavičky řádku z 28 bajtů na 24 bajtů. Další změnou, která by měla vést k minimalizaci velikosti uložených dat je diverzifikace typu varlena. Tento typ se v PostgreSQL používá pro serializaci hodnot všech typů s variabilní délkou. Trochu připomíná string v Pascalu. První byty nesou informaci o délce, další nesou obsah. Starší verze PostgreSQL znaly jen typ varlena s 4byte informací o délce. 8.3 podporuje také typ varlena s 1byte záhlavím. Úspora by se měla projevit hlavně u typu NUMERIC a krátkých řetězců. K překladu PostgreSQL lze počínaje touto verzí použít jak gcc, MINGW tak Microsoft Visual C++ (na platformě Microsoft Windows).

Abstract:
Internet technology is developing very rapidly especially on the database system. Today's database has led to data that cannot be processed into the traditional way that we call big data. Some data stored on the server requires a way for the data to be valid and intact for that transaction mechanism appears on RDBMS which ensures that the data stored will become a unified whole as in customer account data, withdrawal of money at ATMs, e-transactions -commerce and so on. Of course the use of transactions in a database by not using Atomic transactions has a difference in terms of traffic on the network. This research appears by analyzing network traffic or density from a database that uses transactions and not to users who access them. This research method uses a questionnaire method by distributing questionnaires quantitatively to 300 respondents. The results of the study of approximately 300 respondents, researchers get the results that the use of transactions in databases and databases without transactions after being accessed by 300 people, the densest network is a network owned by a system that uses transaction features, this is because there is a slight increase of about 13% of traffic when compared to a network without transactions. This statement shows that two-way communication from a database that has the transaction provides feedback to the user so that the data is reliable as an indicator that the data has been stored safely. Further research can be done by finding other information or a study of big data using the atomic transaction model.

Abstract:
E-Government is a result of technological advances in the government field. E-government assessment is needed to encourage the development of e-government in a better direction. The e-Government assessment can be measured using the Egovbench application. Egovbench performs crawling to obtain information from related websites or social media. The process of crawling done by Egovbench produces extensive data, which reduced performance in data processing. Therefore, there is a need for a database solution that has the best performance such as high processing speed and small database size. This study examined the comparison between relational databases and non-relational databases based on selected metrics to obtain the most suitable database solution for Egovbench. The results show that the MySQL database has the advantage of complex query processing and the use of the database with the smallest storage space. MongoDB database has the advantage of low data transfer volumes. Couchbase database has the advantage of short and straightforward query processing with a high number. The evaluation results show that MySQL is more suitable for Egovbench needs, which is the best response time and query per second. MySQL outperformed the other two databases on backup and storage file sizes testing.

Upaya kesehatan tersebut diselenggarakan dengan menitikberatkan kepada pelayananuntuk masyarakat luas guna mencapai derajad kesehatan yang optimal, tanpa mengabaikan mutupelayanan kepada perorangan. Several companies loyal to traditional relational SQL databases for several decades seek to switch to the new “NoSQL” databases to meet the new requirements related to the change of scale in data volumetry, the load increases, the diversity of types of data handled, and geographic distribution. This paper develops a comparative study in which the authors will evaluate the performance of two databases very widespread in the field: MySQL as a relational database and MongoDB as a NoSQL database. To accomplish this confrontation, this research uses the Yahoo! Cloud Serving Benchmark (YCSB). This contribution is to provide some answers to choose the appropriate database management system for the type of data used and the type of processing performed on that data.

Keamanan dalam desaian suatu database merupakan hal yang sangat penting untuk diterapkan dalam membangun sebuah sistem informasi. Sering kali dalam implementasi keamanan database tidak begitu diperhatikan, baik dari segi tipe data, panjang data, maupun paramter yang berkaitan dengan transaksi data. Kesalahan dalam desain database biasanya baru akan disadari pada saat aplikasi sudah selesai dan sudah digunakan. Untuk memastikan sebuah sistem informasi berjalan dengan lancar maka akan digunakan analisa data berdasarkan rentang data tertinggi dan data terendah. Dengan menggunakan analisa rentang data maka data yang nilainya lebih rendah dari paremeter yang ditentukan akan dirubah ke nilai terendah yang sesuai dengan paramter. Begitu juga data yang nilainya lebih tinggi dari paramter yang telah ditentukan akan dirubah ke nilai tertinggi yang sesuai dengan parameter. Dari hasil pengujian yang dilakukan sebelum adanya filter check dan patameter tipe data dengan memasukan data yang berupa huruf, angka minus serta angka yang melebihi batas atas pada kolom nilai, data masih bisa tersimpan ke database. Pengujian selanjutnya dilakukan dengan memasukan angka -2,-3,-4,-5,-7,-7 serta angka diatas ambang batas atas 12,13,14,15,16,17, dari hasil pengujian yang dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bawah sebuah database dengan fungsi trigger jauh lebih aman dibandingkan dengan database yang hanya menerapkan fungsi pembatasan berdasarkan tipe datanya saja.Kata Kunci —Keamanan Desain Database MySQL, Analisis Keamanan DatabaseSecurity in the design of a database is very important to be applied in building an information system. Often in the implementation of a database security is not given much attention, both in terms of data types, length, and parameters relating to data transactions. Errors in database design are usually only noticed when the application is complete and has been used. To ensure an information system runs well, data analysis will be used based on the highest and lowest data ranges. By using data range analysis, data whose value is lower than the specified parameter will be changed to the lowest value in accordance with the parameters. Data whose value is higher than predetermined parameters will be changed to the highest value in accordance with parameters. Results of tests conducted before the filter check and data type patameter by entering data in the form of letters, minus numbers and numbers that exceed the upper limit in the value column, data can still be saved to database. Further testing is done by entering the numbers -2, -3, -4, -5, -7, -7 and numbers above the upper threshold of 12,13,14,15,16,17, from some of the results of tests conducted can be concluded below a database with a trigger function is more secure than a database that only applies restrictions based on its data type.Keywords— Security Database Design MySQL, Security Analysis Database

Monitoring panel surya sangat perlukan dilakukan untuk untuk melihat karekteristik panel surya tersebut, karena terjadinya perubahan intensitas cahaya matahari, suhu, arus dan tegangan membuat proses pendataan dilakukan secara manual. Berubahnya intensitas cahaya matahari dan suhu membuat arus serta tegangan yang dihasilkan juga berubah. Penelitian ini ialah melakukan pembacaan arus, tegangan, suhu dan intensitas cahaya matahari secara online, monitoring tersebut berbasis website yang menampung data tersebut pada database MySQL. Dengan menggunakan NodeMCU ESP8266 sebagai mikrokontroler yang terkoneksi dengan jaringan wifi yang terhubung dengan komputer maka data dapat dikirim ke database MySQL. Data yang dikirim ke database MySQL website berupa kolom tabel dan dalam bentul grafik. Dengan adanya proses monitoring panel surya melalui website. Hasil yang di peroleh tersebut dapat dianalisis dengan melihat data yang tersimpan di database MySQL.

Availability of information is increasing rapidly, the method for encoding and storage of information also increased. The number of sources of information brings several problems, among them about how to combine the distributed data storage and different. Information on an organization or company is usually stored in separate locations and different formats. When there is an increase in storage capacity and the amount of information search costs, the company faced with an abundance amount of data. System development methodology used is Rapid Application Development (RAD) with a development framework Guidlines for Rapid Application Engineering (GRAPPLE). The software used in building this application is Borland Jbuilder 9. Rational Rose 2000 is used for the analysis and design using Unified Modeling Language (UML). Mysql server is a type of database to be accessed on each operating system. Operating system used in this study is Windows XP and Linux Fedora Core. This application was developed with aglets, which is one of software for building mobile agent applications.

Abstract—Database is an important part in managing information, because a database is a collection of data that is processed to produce information. because of the importance of the database, many crimes are directed to attack the database, both attacks against access rights or attacks against the data itself. My SQL is a Database Management System (DBMS) that provides several facilities, one of which is the logging facility. Binary Log is a type of database log in the form of binary digits that contains some information including the record of the time of the transaction, the user who made the transaction and the order in the transaction. With the Binary Log, it can be seen when the transaction occurred, who made the transaction and what transaction occurred in the database. The recording of transactions in the Binary Log can be used as one way to carry out an investigation process in the event of an attack on the database. In this study the focus is on analyzing transaction records in binary logs, namely when, who, dam and what information can be taken from the Binary Log. The output of this research is a table of binary log investigation results and its relation to database attacks.

Dimana Raspberry Pi yang digunakan akan diatur untuk menjadi server publik sehingga bisa diakses secara bebas melalui perangkat yang tersambung dengan internet dimanapun user berada, pengaksesan database ini hanya menggunakan dns public dengan interface phpMyAdmin pada web browser contohnya: raspibroker.ddns.net/phpMyAdmin. Hasilnya penggunaan database tersebut tidak perlu penyewaan server agar bias diakses oleh user melalui perangkat yang memiliki akses internet karena penggunaan server telah diatasi melalui pembuatan server public menggunakan Raspberry Pi, selain memudahkan user dalam mengakses system penggunaan server public dari Raspberry Pi juga menghemat dana.

This paper is focused on comparing database replication over spatial data in PostgreSQL and MySQL. Database replication means solving various problems with overloading a single database server with writing and reading queries. There are many replication mechanisms that are able to handle data differently. Criteria for objective comparisons were set for testing and determining the bottleneck of the replication process. The tests were done over the real national vector spatial datasets, namely, ArcCR500, Data200, Natural Earth and Estimated Pedologic-Ecological Unit. HWMonitor Pro was used to monitor the PostgreSQL database, network and system load. Monyog was used to monitor the MySQL activity (data and SQL queries) in real-time. Both database servers were run on computers with the Microsoft Windows operating system. The results from the provided tests of both replication mechanisms led to a better understanding of these mechanisms and allowed informed decisions for future deployment. Graphs and tables include the statistical data and describe the replication mechanisms in specific situations. PostgreSQL with the Slony extension with asynchronous replication synchronized a batch of changes with a high transfer speed and high server load. MySQL with synchronous replication synchronized every change record with low impact on server performance and network bandwidth.

Aplikasi Monitoring Wisatawan ini lebih sesuai menggunakan database firebase karena hubungan antar data tidak terlalu rumit dan membutuhkan akses data yang cepat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tahapan migrasi dari database MySQL ke Realtime Database Firebase untuk aplikasi monitoring wisatawan. Migrasi dari MySQL ke Firebase pada aplikasi moitoring wisatawan melibatkan beberapa data utama yaitu data guide, data wisatawan dan data chating antar anggota group wisatawan. Databases are an important part of today’s applications where large amounts of data need to be stored, processed, and accessed quickly. One of the important criteria when choosing to use a database technology is its data processing performance. In this paper, some methods for optimizing the database structure and queries were applied on two popular open-source database management systems: MySQL as a relational DBMS, and document-based MySQL as a non-relational DBMS. The main objective of this paper was to conduct a comparative analysis of the impact that the proposed optimization methods have on each specific DBMS when carrying out CRUD (CREATE, READ, UPDATE, DELETE) requests. To perform the analysis and performance evaluation of CRUD operations for different amounts of data, a case study testing architecture based on Java was developed and used to show how the databases’ proposed optimization methods can influence the performance of the application, and to highlight the differences in response time and complexity. The results obtained show the degree to which the proposed optimization methods contributed to the application’s performance improvement in the case of both databases; based on these, a detailed analysis and several conclusions are presented to support a decision for choosing a specific approach.

Big data merupakan tantangan yang perlu dihadapi kedepannya, terutama bagi BPS sebagai badan penyedia data sensus dan survei. Teknologi penyimpanan data seperti MySQL, PostgreSQL, dan lainnya yang merupakan penyimpanan berbasis relasional mempunyai batasan-batasan dalam menghadapi era big data. Untuk mengatasi batasan-batasan yang ada tersebut, kemudian berkembanglah teknologi penyimpanan data berbasis nonrelasional yang dikenal dengan istilah NoSQL Database. Hingga saat ini telah banyak teknologi nonrelational database yang berkembang, contohnya Hadoop dan Couchbase. Perlunya penentuan teknologi penyimpanan data yang sesuai merupakan salah satu faktor penting dalam menghadapi era big data agar dapat memberikan performa kinerja yang maksimal. Atas dasar tersebut, penulis melakukan penelitian dengan mengkaji beberapa sistem database terpilih sebagai alternatif dalam menghadapi era big data. Penelitian dilakukan dengan membandingkan tiga teknologi database yaitu Hadoop, Couchbase, dan MySQL untuk melihat perbedaan performa dari ketiga database tersebut dalam penerapannya terhadap data Sensus/Survei BPS. Dari hasil penelitian menggunakan data individu SUSENAS, diperoleh hasil yaitu setiap database mempunyai keunggulan dan kelemahan masing-masing baik dari segi performa maupun fitur yang diberikan. MySQL memiliki keunggulan pada operasi write dengan multiple insert, Couchbase memiliki keunggulan pada operasi write dengan single insert, sedangkan Hadoop lebih unggul pada operasi read.

Abstract:
Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL and PostgreSQL are four of the most popular relational databases. They are often used in internet applications. This paper aims to compare the efficiency of these technologies in terms of speed using virtualization with Docker. No publications that include virtualization were found among previous papers. After review of the literature, it was hypothesized that the Oracle engine would be the fastest. During the research, a series of experiments was carried out using the application, in which tests for measuring the time of instruction execution were implemented. Each query was measured 100 times and the first measurement was rejected. The obtained results confirmed the hypothesis about the superiority of the Oracle database. As in previous studies, it proved to be the fastest, also using virtualization.

<em>Optimasi query dapat menjadi salah satu cara yang digunakan untuk melakukan proses pengolahan data dalam mencari jalur tercepat pada database menagement system (DBMS). Membandingkan beberapa teknik optimasi untuk mengetahui mana yang tercepat dalam melakukan proses eksekusi data pada kondisi tertentu. Dalam penelitian ini proses pengujian yang dilakukan adalah mengolah data dengan menerapkan teknik optimasi dengan Nested Join Query dan Hash Join Query yang merupakan dua query yang banyak digunakan dalam basis data. Masalah yang dibahas dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana membandingkan kecepatan pengolahan data dengan query yang telah dilakukan join relasi dengan beberapa tabel yang berbeda dan menggunakan dua teknik optimasi. Sehingga dapat diambil kesimpulan teknik apa yang paling cocok digunakan dalam proses sesuai dengan kondisi tertentu. Proses ini dilakukan menggunakan MySQL sebagai DBMS dan data yang akan diolah adalah database yang berisi data pegawai. Hasil akhir dari penelitian ini berbentuk grafik dengan hasil teknik optimasi query yang terbaik yaitu Nasted Join Scalar.</em>
