Este artigo apresenta a influência da psicanálise de Sigmund Freud no pensamento de Norbert Elias, reconhecida pelo próprio sociólogo, demostrando que o corpo atua como elemento articulador da relação entre indivíduo e sociedade. High spatial resolution infrared observations (mostly at L, some at K) of several young stars in the ρ Oph dark cloud were obtained with the specklegraph at the ESO 3.6m telescope in Chile in July 1985. Sources included EL29, EL21, EL14 and EL9 (Elias 1978, Table 2), and were all measured in two orthogonal directions, W-E (PA=90°) and N-S (PA=180°). Here we shall present visibility functions for EL29 and EL21 and indicate the spatial structure and dimension of these objects. We refer to Elias (1978, p.468/69) for earlier studies of EL29 and EL21.

Papenfuss and Wake (1987) described a new species of plethodontid salamander from northern Oaxaca, Mexico, which they named Nototriton adelos. AbstractCosmogenic 10Be ages on boulders of 54–51 ka (n=4) on a penultimate Cordilleran ice sheet (CIS) drift confirm that Marine Oxygen Isotope Stage (MIS) 4 (early Wisconsin) glaciation was extensive in parts of Yukon Territory, the first confirmed evidence in the Canadian Cordillera. Grasslands in the rainshadow of the Chilcotin (British Columbia) and St. Elias (Kluane, Yukon) mountain ranges of western Canada are characterized by widely spaced clumps of bunchgrass and sage, between which can be found lichen-dominated biological soil crusts (BSC). Our examination of Chilcotin and Kluane grasslands showed differential BSC development along topographic gradients, favoring those sites with lower levels of soil disturbance.
