Abstract:
Russian literature has had a massive impact upon the creative path of Lu Xun. The researchers of his prose (including sinologist and translator L. Z. Ėĭdlin, literary scholar L. D. Pozdneeva, writer and literary scholar Feng Xue Feng, and others.) oftentimes compared his texts with the works of Russian writers. Despite the fact that Lu Xun wrote poetry throughout his life, his poetic legacy is poorly studied. Comparative analysis is conducted on the poetry of Lu Xun and N. V. Gogol. It is noted that the poetry of both authors reflects their philosophical and cultural views. T

Abstract The Chinese writer Lu Xun (1881-1936) is considered one of the most important writers in the history of Chinese literature. His works have been translated over the years into many foreign languages, including Arabic. In addition to translating his works, foreign researchers have presented many studies on his thought and literature, and Lu Xun’s studies and translations into Arabic played an important role in introducing Lu Xun’s creativity and thought and even modern Chinese literature in general, and these translations had a clear impact on the influence of a number of Egyptian and A

While many Chinese studied in Japan, Lu Xun was iconic both because of his status as China's most important modern writer and because of the impact his time in Japan had on his life. Lu Xun was preparing to be a medical doctor until his teacher showed a slide of listless Chinese prisoners at the end of his anatomy class. Lu was shocked by his compatriots’ passivity and the laughter they induced from his Japanese classmates, and he later wrote that this experience convinced him to abandon his studies of modern medicine and return home to awaken the Chinese people. This is the first intellectual biography of Lu Xun (1881–1936) published in English in nearly 20 years. Arguably, it may be the first one ever. Cheung skilfully utilizes the prism of Lu Xun's interest in Nietzsche to examine not only his influence on the development of the Chinese writer's thought, but also a host of other issues from the interpretation of Lu Xun's works to his marital status. In order to do this, Cheung must first come to terms with Nietzsche's intellectual legacy, which he defines as that of the “gentle” Nietzsche – the Nietzsche sans Nachlass familiar to us through Walter K

Throughout his life, Lu Xun had a deep affection for Wei-Jin culture. The intellectual traits and spiritual core of Wei-Jin literati profoundly influenced his creative works. The "madman" and "loner" characters in Lu Xun's writings share similarities with the eccentric and desolate scholars of the Wei-Jin period, both in their external manifestations and ideological cores. The spiritual connection between them, transcending time and space, reflects Lu Xun's strong "Wei-Jin complex" and his courage to confront reality head-on.

As the first and still the most prominent writer in modern Chinese literature, Lu Xun (1881–1936) had been the object of extensive attention since well before his death. Little noticed, however, is the anomaly that almost nothing was written about Lu Xun in the first five years of his writing career – only eleven items date from the years 1918–23. This article proposes that the five-year lag shows that time was required to learn to read his fiction, a task that necessitated interpretation by insiders, and that further time was required for the creation of a literary world that would respond in

In particolare, alcuni testi di Kropotkin, Necaev e Andreev svolgono il compito di preparare il terreno per una rilettura in chiave anarchica degli scritti di Lu Xun che verranno presentati nel terzo capitolo.
