Resumo: O ato de nadar tem chamado atenção da comunidade científica contemporânea. Para uns, o exercício nadar tem como meta a alta performance, para outros o nadar é uma forma terapêutica e de obtenção da saúde. O objetivo deste estudo é descobrir e compreender o fenômeno nadar. A descoberta diz respeito da possibilidade física do homem se locomover na água; o compreender diz respeito a possibilidade intelectual do homem entender esse fenômeno. A participação física do ato de nadar e o perceber, que é o ato cognitivo, fazem com que o corpo se integre ao meio líquido como parte dele. No desvelar do fenômeno nadar o estudo discute o elemento água como um modo de viver do homem, demonstrando algumas de suas utilizações e formas de visões, objetivando obter um referencial teórico que permita a compreensão do caminho percorrido na relação homem/água. Sob uma abordagem de corpo participativo, dentro da complexidade da manifestação corporal em um meio diferenciado, onde se tenha o corpo como um todo, este estudo foi ao encontro da corporeidade na água. Neste estudo, o pesquisador se abstrai dos conceitos sobre o ato de nadar, para poder se colocar como um espectador, daqueles que estão vivenciando a prática. A investigação elegeu como população alvo indivíduos, aleatoriamente, independente de seus objetivos em relação a natação. Foi adotado como meio de investigação a análise qualitativa, com técnicas fenomenológicas sob uma abordagem do fenômeno situado. Com a análise dos depoimentos foi estruturada a síntese das unidades transformadas, a qual possibilitou a compreensão do nadar
Abstract: The act of swimming has called the attention ofthe contemporary scientific community. To some, the practice of swimminghas the high performance of objective. To others, swimming is a form of therapy and to obtain health. The study was done to find out about and to comprehend the phenomenon of swimming.The discovery is about the physical possibility of people moving in water, the comprehension, on the other hand, is about the intellectual possibilityto understand this phenomenon. The body was integrade to the liquid as if it were part of it by the physical participation at the act of swimming and the noticing, which is a cognitive act. Revealing the swimming phenomenon, wather as being a way of living of mankind was discussed during the study, showing some ofits utilization and forms ofvision. A theoretical reference which allows us to comprehend the course of the realation between man and water was obtained. Taking the participade body as an approach, in the complexity of corporal manifestation in a differential environment, where you have the body as a whole, the study was directed to the bodyness of the water. In this study, the researcher was abstracted by the concepts of swimming, to be able to put himself as a spectator of those whom are practicing. The investigation randomly chose individuals as targets, independent on their objectives with swimming.As means of investigation, the qualitative analisis was adopted as phenomenological tecniques based on the approach of a situated phenomenon

Full textO objetivo dessa dissertação é explorar a reformulação da antiga andropausa no diagnóstico de Deficiência Androgênica do Envelhecimento Masculino (DAEM) e seu tratamento farmacológico, que é a reposição de testosterona. Essa "nova" patologia se localiza dentro do escopo da Medicina Sexual, e faz parte, juntamente com a disfunção erétil e a ejaculação precoce, de um avanço da medicalização sobre corpos masculinos. Realizei entrevistas semi-estruturadas com alguns médicos envolvidos no estabelecimento do DAEM. Esses profissionais são urologistas ou endocrinologistas, ou ainda andrologistas, acadêmicos, mas que também mantêm um consultório. A entrevista pode ser dividida em dois grandes grupos, um relativo à definição e diagnóstico do DAEM, e a centralidade do sexo nas queixas do paciente. O outro analisa a terapia de reposição hormonal em si, e as conseqüências para a masculinidade da deficiência de testosterona. Elenquei ainda um terceiro tema, relativo às disputas entre as duas especialidades médicas, e as diferenças nas abordagens dos problemas colocados, que encobriam diferentes concepções de corpo e doença. Por fim, tentei manter gênero e envelhecimento como eixos transversais, que atravessassem toda a entrevista. O objetivo desse roteiro era perceber, sob a ótica desses médicos, como o DAEM é construído tanto na academia quanto na clínica médica, e quais as idéias subjacentes ao seu diagnóstico e tratamento. Portanto, nessa dissertação, pretendo analisar como o DAEM parece se localizar numa encruzilhada, unificando novos ideais de masculinidade e envelhecimento, sob a égide da medicina sexual e seus tratamentos farmacológicos. Porém, para isso, foi preciso antes investigar as mudanças na masculinidade e na velhice, o que as definia antes, e quais os novos desenhos que elas apresentam, para poder vislumbrar sua articulação com a medicalização e/ou farmacologização da sexualidade masculina.

Full textThe existence of hormonal systems in the heart tissue especially that of natriuretic peptides, has conferred to the heart its property of endocrine gland in addition to its function of pump. The BNP is the second member of natriuretic peptides, mainly secreted by the ventricles in response to pressure overload or volume. This peptide is currently regarded as the hormonal marker of cardiac decompensation. In the cardiomyocyte, the BNP appears to be involved in modulating calcium homeostasis, regulating the contractile function of the heart. The purpose of our study is to assess on normal and hypertrophied cardiomyocites, the plasma concentration of BNP, the role of ventricular calcium channels in its secretion and the expression of this peptide and that of its receptors(NPR-A,-B and C). Similarly, we studied the autocrine effect of BNP on the rate of intracellular calcium, the density of the L-type calcium current(lcal) and the action potential(AP) in normal cardiomyocytes. By using different approaches, combining the techniques of ELISA, RT-PCR, immunohistochemistry, cytofluorimetry and patch-clamp, we were able to show that L-type calcium channels modulates the secretion of BNP, that there is an over-expression of the NPR-A and NPR-C in cardiac hypertrophy, and that the BNP modulates the release of intracellular calcium, alters the AP and reduces the density of lcal in normal cardiomyocytes. In conclusion, this study has identified a reciprocal relationship between the BNP and calcium homeostasis, which could be responsible for autocrine and paracrine effects of BNP on normal cardiac function and myocardial remodelling in response to hemodynamic stress

Resumo: O Triathlon é uma modalidade esportiva composta por três etapas, que são nadar, pedalar e correr. Diversos estudos vem investigando como nadar influencia etapas seguintes, mas os resultados ainda são controversos em alguns aspectos. Existem estudos, que falam da importância de nadar para o desempenho geral da prova, pois à medida em que às distâncias das provas variam, a correlação com o resultado final varia. Com isso o objetivo do presente estudo foi analisar como nadar 375 metros pode influenciar durante o pedalar e o correr, além do resultado geral em uma prova simulada de triathlon super sprint (nadar 375m- pedalar 10Km-correr 2.5Km). Foram avaliados 8 triatletas amadores, (27 ± 4 anos; 75 ± 6 kg; 179 ± 7 cm), que assinaram o termo de consentimento livre e esclarecido (TCLE), que foi aprovado junto ao projeto de pesquisa pelo comitê de ética em pesquisa da Unicamp com o Nº8999/2012. Foram realizados três protocolos de avaliação: 1º Triathlon (Tri) que consistia em nadar 375m, pedalar 10Km e correr 2.5Km, no 2º Pedalar e Correr (PC) onde o voluntário deveria pedalar 10Km e correr 2.5Km e no 3º Correr (C) e último o voluntário teve de correr 2.5Km. Todas as coletas foram randomizadas e obedeceram um intervalo que tinha o mínimo de 48 horas. Os dados foram analisados através de estatística descritiva, a normalidade foi testada através do teste de Shapiro-Wilk e após a normalidade dos dados aceita, foi usado o teste "t" pareado para se comparar duas situações e a correlação de Pearson de um momento com o outro, os resultados da presente pesquisa foram expostos em dois artigos. No primeiro estudo, nadar reduziu o desempenho do pedalar (-8,4%) e o tempo total (pedalar + correr; -5,4%) quando comparados à realização das mesmas sem a presença prévia do nadar, todas as etapas analisadas, com exceção do correr em PC, houveram correlações significativas com o tempo total de prova. No segundo estudo, houve diferença significativa nas variáveis, potência média e máxima, potência relativa média e máxima, além de velocidade média e máxima, entre os protocolos Tri e PC. Com base nos achados da presente pesquisa, concluímos que nadar previamente, reduz o desempenho do pedalar, mas não influencia no desempenho do correr, mesmo dessa forma o tempo total de prova foi influenciado, pelo nadar previamente
Abstract: Triathlon is a sport consisting of three stages, which are swimming, biking and running. Several studies have been investigating how swimming may influence on biking and how biking may influence on running, but the results still controversial in some aspects. There are studies that pointed out the importance of swimming for the overall performance in the competition. As the shorter the competition, the bigger the correlation with the final result were found. Therefore, the aim of this study is to analyze how to swim 375 meters may influence biking and running and the overall outcome in a simulated competition of super sprint triathlon (375m swim, 10km cycle, run 2,5 Km). Eight amateur triathletes (27 ± 4 years, 75 ± 6 kg, 179 ± 7 cm), who signed the consent form which was approved by UNICAMP research and ethics committee with number 8999/2012. Three protocols of evaluation were performed: 1st Tri which consisted of swimming 375m, cycling 10km and running 2.5 km; in the 2nd CR the volunteer should cycle 10km and run 2.5 km and in the 3rd R and the last one, the volunteer had to run 2, 5km. All samples were randomized and they had a minimum of 48 hours rest. The data was analyzed using descriptive statistics. Normality was tested by the Shapiro-Wilk. "t" paired test was used to compare the situations and the correlation of Pearson of one moment with other. In the first study, swimming reduced biking performance (-8.4%) and the total time (cycling + running; -5.4%) when compared to the performance of biking and running without the prior presence of swimming. All stages analyzed, with exception of running on BR had significant correlations with the total time of the competition. In the second study, there were significant differences in the variables, average power, maximum power and maximum average relative, and average and maximum speed between the Tri and BR protocols. Based on the results of this research, we concluded that to perform swimming first reduces cycling performance, but does not influence the performance of the run. Resumo: A sensação e percepção na habilidade nadar é entendida pela expressão "sensação para a água" oufeelfor the water (Counsilman, 1980; Maglislho, 1982; Sharp, 1982; Coyle, 1984; Costill, 1985; Neufer, 1987; Navaro, 1990 e Maglislho, 1993). Este estudo teve como objetivo verificar a contribuição que um programa perceptivomotor pode oferecer à habilidade nadar e, desta forma, propor uma estratégia de trabalho na fase de aperfeiçoamento, que leve o indivíduo a utilizar seus segmentos com economia de movimento. Os sujeitos analisados foram de 13 à 15 anos em ambos os gêneros na fase de aperfeiçoamento. Dividiu-se da seguinte forma: Grupo de Aplicação (GA,. n=22) onde objetivou-se o trabalho proprioceptivo (Schmidt, 1993) e um Grupo Controle (GC, n 16) em ambos os gêneros. Utilizou-se a análise estatística descritiva e o teste "t" Student' s pareado e não pareado, adotando-se o nível de significância de p < 0,05. Ao final do programa verificou-se que a Amplitude (Am) evoluiu cerca de 3,08%, Velocidade máxima (V) em 2,94% e o Índice de Braçadas (LB.) em 5,97% no gênero feminino do Grupo de Aplicação (GA). No gênero masculirio do GA foi observado um aumento de 5,56% na Am e na V de 7,77% e LB. em 13,160/0. No gênero feminino do Grupo Controle (GC) houve um aumento na V em 12,22%, porém uma piora de 5% na a Am e redução de 3,75% no LB. No gênero masculino no GC a V aumentou 2,04%, a Am diminuiu cerca de 12,16% e o LB. cerca de 10,81%. Após análise dos resultados verificamos uma tendência na contribuição do programa perceptivo-motor aplicado à peiformance dos nadadores. Os resultados observados na variável do comportamento biomecânico parecem indicar aprovação da aplicação da proposta, mesmo não tendo diferenças significantes estatisticamente. Portanto, acreditamos que este trabalho monográfico tenha colaborado para melhor direcionamento de uma pedagogia aplicada à aprendizagem da natação. Recomendamos assim a adoção do programa perceptivomotor aplicado à habilidade nadar, na fase de aperfeiçoamento, utilizando estratégias cinestésicas com materiais auxiliares (luvas de látex e vaselina)
Abstract: The comprehension of this phenomenon is understood by the expression F eel for the water (Counsilman, 1980; Maglislho, 1982; Sharp, 1982; Coyle, 1984; Costill, 1985; Neufer, 1987; Navarro, 1990 and Maglislho, 1993). This study has as aim verify the contribution that a perceptive-motor programme may ofIer to the swimming ability and in this way propose a work strategy, in the improvement phase, thet gets the individual to use segments with movement economy. The subjects was analysed of 13-15 years old female and male in provement phase. Aplication Group (AG, n=22) with motor-perceptive programme swimming skill (Schmidt, 1993) and Control Group (GC, n=16). The test was 15-meters (Brito e Pinto, 1999) and the statistical treatment was average, standard deviation and t-Student's with p<0.05. At the end of the programme it was vehfied thet the Stroke Length (SL) evoled about 3.08%, Velocity speed (V) in 2.94% and to the Stroke Index (SI) in 5.97% in the female of the Aplication Group (AG). In the male of AG it was observed rise of 5.56% to SL na to the V of 7.77% and SI in 13.16%. In the female of the Control Group (CG) there was na increase in the V of 12.22%, however, a worsening of 5% to the SL and reduction of 3.75% in the SI. In the male CG the V increased 2.04% and the SL reduced about 12.16% and the SI about 10.81 %. After the result analysis we verified a tendency in the contribution of the perceptive-motor programme applied to the performance of the swimmers. The results observed in the variable of behaviour biomecanic, seems to indicate approval of the proposal application, even though don't having significant difIerences statistically. Hence, we pedagogy applied to the learning of the swimming. We recommend, thus, the adoption of the percetive-mootr programme applied to the ability of swimming in the improvement phase, using kinesthetic strategies with subjects (latex gloves and vaseline)

Resumo: Este estudo discutiu o Campo Atrativo Perceptual (CAP) e a sincronização na natação tendo como ponto fundamental à intencionalidade do nadar. Será compreendida pelo fenômeno da percepção e explicada pelos princípios da teoria de campo. Como objetivo verificou se o CAP influencia a propulsão dos nadadores de alta habilidade quando comparado com os de baixa habilidade. Os procedimentos metodológicos foram aplicados em nadadores de alta e de baixa habilidade, sendo divididos pelo índice de performance (FAP e CBDA, 2002). Foi criado um instrumento qualitativo e quantitativo para verificação do comportamento fenomenal, no ¿campo visual¿, segundo os pressuposto da teoria de campo. Para análise dos resultados foram utilizados testes não-paramétricos levando-se em consideração a natureza das variáveis estudadas. Foi fixado em 0,05 ou 5% para o nível de rejeição da hipótese de nulidade. Ao realizarmos as divisões dos grupos pelo seu ¿campo visual¿ encontramos, na descrição do comportamento, entre nadadores de alta habilidade comparada com os de baixa habilidade maior força tensional dinâmica no CAP no momento dos 50 m e 75 metros (p<0,001). Em seguida observamos o momento da saída no bloco de partida (p<0,02) e no final dos 100 metros nado crawl (p<0,05). Os resultados deste estudo nos remetem a repensar a prática pedagógica e, portanto, a forma como poderemos resolver o problema da sincronização no nadar. Portanto, a força tensional do CAP estabelece uma configuração na técnica de nado para ambos os grupos num nível de complexidade de atração diferente ¿ poderemos pensar na sobrevalorização do campo e de sua relação com a experiência de nado. Notamos que há uma auto-organização dos nadadores de ambos os grupos com a técnica de nado e podemos inferir que os fatos observados na estrutura do CAP poderiam ser explicados pelas leis organizacionais apresentadas na teoria de campo
Abstract: The purpose of this study is debate the Perceptual Attractive Field on swin (PAFs) and the propulsion in the swim, considering, as fundamental point, the swim intentionality. In this way, the intentionality will be understood by the perception phenomenon and, this one, will be explained by the field theory. The objective of this study was verify if the PAFs cause influence in the swimmer¿s propulsion high ability in comparison with the low ability. The methodological procedure used was applied in high and low ability swimmers, and they were separated according to the index performance (FAP and CBDA, 2002). A quantitatively and qualitative instrument was created to verify the phenomenal behavior, in the ¿visual field¿, according to the field theory. To analyze the results, there were used no parametrical tests, and the variable¿s nature was considered. The nullity rejection hypothesis level was fixed in 0,05 or 5%. When the groups were separated by the ¿visual field¿, we found, in the behavior¿s description, that high ability swimmers in comparison with the low ability swimmers¿, had more dynamic tensional force in the PAFs, between 50 m and 75 meters (p<0,001). After, we observed the exit from parting block (p<0,02) and, finally, but no less important, at the final 100 meters crawl swim (p<0,05). The results of the study take us to consider the pedagogic practice and, in consequence, how the propulsion question can be solved in the swim. So, the PAFs tensional force sets a configuration in the swim technical to both groups, in different complexity attraction level ¿ we can think in the field¿s super valorization and in it¿s relation with the swim experience. We noted that there is a swimmers auto organization, from both groups, with the swim¿s technic and we can infer that the facts noted in the PAFs structure can be explained by the organizational laws presents in the field theory

Full textNadar's photographic work has overshadowed his other productions, especially those in the areas of caricature and biography. A regular collaborator in Philipon's Journal pour rire, Nadar executed several hundreds of caricatures of his contemporaries (among which 250 were gathered in 1854 in the Panthéon-Nadar) and, from 1852 to 1862, he edited four biographical series (never studied up to this day) - a witness of second empire public's passion for biography on contemporaries. That does not mean at the time public revelations aiming at famous people; the scarcity of biographical information is indeed striking. Such publications have a manifold object: keep up the readers' curiosity, gather a certain number of contemporaries in the noble scenery of a "museum", and remind their public lives by a notice using the numerous tricks of journalistic rhetoric. Subsequently the actual author is neither the biographer nor the portraitist, but rather the editor, gathering names and responsible for distribution; he will appear the mastermind of the project. Therefore biography on contemporaries belongs to literature for consumers and hence to mass-culture. That is a medium between the public and the present time. In pointing out to some famous people, society makes up a comforting image of itself. Nadar's biographical series show how much second empire society was anxious of its historical becoming, giving way to the illusion of anticipating posterity and looking at itself prospectively as tomorrow would do

Full textBackground: Second Hand Smoke (SHS) from tobacco is clearly associated to an increased risk or morbidity and mortality. Particularly in the newborn, who has a higher respiratory frequency compared to adults, their lungs are still immature and voluntarily cannot avoid SHS exposition. Exposition to SHS is related to an increased risk to suffer some pediatric illnesses such as syndrome of sudden death, acute respiratory illnesses, worsening of asthma, eacute- chronic illnesses- of the middle ear and average hearing and slow pulmonary growth. However, no Known effective intervention for parents to reduce SHS. Objectives: To value the effect of a brief intervention to avoid SHS exposition in newborns and child aged <18 months. The intervention was undertaken by pediatrics professionals and was addressed to child’s parents on the beliefs and behaviors of the carers of the newborn at three months post intervention. Methods: Community based open, parallel, multicentric and conglomerate based randomized trial. The unit of randomization was the primary care team composed by a pediatrician and a pediatric nurse, both responsible of the same pediatric population (around 2000 children). A total of 937 children aged 18 months or younger with at least one of their parents being a current smoker and who are attended in any of the participating primary care center of Catalunya (North east of Spain) were included in the study. All parents signed the informed consent. The inclusion criteria were babies under 18 months of age whose parents smoke and who give their informed consent to participate in the study. The exclusion criteria was any pathology or parents or baby’s illness, Known addiction in the parents to other substances, parent in smoking cessation process or foreseeable change in residency. Intervention group received a brief intervention based on counseling, cognitive theory and motivational interviewing (5’As intervention: Ask, Advise, Assess, Assist, Arrange), to avoid SHS exposition in the children and control group received habitual care. Three controls were made, although for the present dissertation we included results for basal timeline and at three month post intervention. Basal information on children’s clinical data, past and recent SHS exposition and parent’s sociodemographic data and variables related to tobacco consumption (including dependency and state of change) was gathered with a face to face interview with the parent. At three and six months post intervention we gathered information on SHS exposure. Besides, at the beginning of the study and at six months post intervention children’s hair samples were collected to analyze nicotine levels, but this information is not offered in the present dissertation. Results: Eighty-three primary care centers participated in the study. The study included 937 children (median age: 7.89 months, P25=4,17, P75=12,25). At three months post intervention we observed an improvement on the measures to avoid SHS exposition among the intervention group compared to the control group: inside the house and in the car the percentage of families that undertook improvements were 35.7% 8 (vs. 26.7%, p=0.003) and 58.6% (vs. 50.9%, p=0.018). Globally, 38.4% of the parents of the intervention group (compared to the 31.6% of the control group, p=0.029) has adopted at least one behavior change to avoid SHS exposition at three months post-intervention. Conclusions: The present brief intervention addressed to parents who smoke to avoid SHS in their children is effective to reduce exposition inside the house and the car.

Full textEarly studies about acquisition of swimming behavior in infants identified an ordered sequence of movement patterns span the first year of life. The explanation attributed to this fact defends that it happens due to changes in motor control caused by the maturation of nervous system. Nevertheless, it has been questioned, suggesting a smaller predisposition of the organism in the skills acquisition process, suggesting a bigger environmental influence in the acquisition of this behavior. In this way, the present study aimed testing the effects of practice on elementary swim patterns. For this, sixteen full-terms, fourteen weeks ear old infants, were recruited from the Londrina State University community in Londrina. The infants were randomly assigned to one of two groups. The experimental group was taken to the aquatic environment twice a week for a period of seven consecutive months and received thirty minutes of stimulation of swimming patterns each day. The control group received no systematic stimulation. Both groups were taken to aquatic environment twice a month and filmed for a period of fifteen minutes in each experimental position. The movements made by all the body or the segments, during more than two consecutive seconds, were considered to this analysis. From the data gathered it was possible to identify some behavioural patterns regarding to the action of the head, the limbs and the trunk. A planned comparison confirmed that the duration of the most frequent movement of the experimental group was longer than that of the control group. Those results suggest that the effects of practice can provide variations on some swimming behavior

Full textThis research aims to discover the main elements of the educational interaction favoring or hindering the learning of the aquatic skills by children. This purpouse involve the theoretical study of various elements. On one hand, the research gives an overview of water activities focusing on the history and culture that ultimately contributed to the existence of a certain type of educational practices with infants in the aquatic environment. The research also studies the notion of water through its physical, cultural and biological dimensions, that shows us the water as a pluridimensional environment. This first chapter allows the author to take a stand about the model of water activities for babies that should be. In a second moment the research develops the notion of adult-child interaction. This in-depth analysis of the sociocultural perspective is studied by some reference authors as Vygotskii, Valsiner, Rogoff and Cole. The research also develops an affective and emotional vision of interaction by studying Bowlby, Ainsworth and Wallon. This conceptual framework defines the major interest issues of the interaction in the aquatic environment and defines the educational context and the methodological study approach. The research objectives are lead by four child-adult interaction cases study, which are videotaped during the four months that takes a course of aquatic activities for babies. The research makes an important effort to define some consistent categories enough to allow a depth study of the cases wich can be generalized. So the categorization is based in quantitative data wich can be processed. This data yield several results that illustrate which aspects of interaction encourage the development of the children aquatic skills and which ones hinder this motor learning. Finally the research results are debated specifically focusing on the educational aspects of the interaction wich provide considerations for developing specific educational practices in this educational scenario.

Full textLo que nos interesa destacar del “nada que decir” no es la expresión “que decir” (la cual podría perfectamente ser reemplazada por “que explicar”, “que escribir”, “que contar”, etc.), sino esa extraña palabra que habitualmente entendemos simplemente en el sentido de “no”. Cuando suponemos que para ser consecuentes con el “nada que decir” habría que dejar las páginas en blanco, estamos pensando el término “nada” en ese sentido que habitualmente solemos asignarle – el de la negación -, por lo cual el “nada que decir” se nos vuelve idéntico a “no decir”. No se trata aquí de rechazar de buenas a primeras ese sentido de la palabra “nada”; se trata más bien de llevar la expresión “nada que decir” a una situación en la cual se la vivencie realmente, en la cual cobre plena significación a causa de sentírsela como verdad. Es cierto que la frase funciona en muchos y muy diversos contextos: podemos replicar “nada que decir” frente a alguien que nos pregunte sobre un tema en particular, donde el tema puede ser cualquiera. Se trata de nada que decir ante alguien que nos pide explicaciones por alguna controvertida decisión nuestra, por ejemplo. En ese caso, puede que repliquemos “nada que decir” porque simplemente no queremos dar explicación alguna al respecto. Los ejemplos podrían ser muy variados, desde luego, pero siempre estarían referidos a un tema particular frente al cual uno decidiera callar, no decir.

Swimming has been considered a complete movement, achieved by improved human and biomechanically, led the competition with magnificent results of human capacity, so that the civilizing process is taught, especially for children, this study will see the results of people who are getting old adults going through this process teaching and learning. People who are getting old the term was used to identify subjects in middle age and older. This research aimed at analyzing the meanings that attach to the application of people who are getting old adults a learning process of swimming through the content of their speech, and the following objectives: 1) characterize the profile of people who are getting old adults participants as students in the learning process of swimming at this stage of life, 2) verify the knowledge and experience in driving the liquid over the life of people who are getting old adults participants as students of the teaching learning of swimming at this stage of life, 3) evaluate the implementation of a program of swimming instruction for the third academic people who are getting old Programa Idoso Feliz Participa Sempre FEFF-UFAM. The sample consisted of 16 people who are getting old, 14 women and 2 men, 45 to 74 years. Methodology was used as the main program of teaching and learning of basic swimming with a duration of four months. To obtain the data, we used two interviews and a verification worksheet hydrodynamic qualities used throughout the program. Results showed: 1) learning to swim almost all of the sample, except one people who are getting old adults did not learn to swim. 2) According to reports, there was improved physical condition and decreased pain. 3) There was an increase in scores for film and hydrodynamic qualities of 15m to 25m. Regarding the meaning of learning to swim, there was a better motor development and pursuit of a healthy lifestyle and a fear of drowning as reports of attention. The results showed that one can learn to swim at this stage of life, except in relationship to trauma is not overcome.
Nadar tem sido considerado um movimento completo, conquistado pelo humano e aperfeiçoado biomecanicamente, levado a competição com resultados magníficos da capacidade humana, tanto que pelo processo civilizador é ensinado, principalmente para crianças, neste estudo veremos os resultados de adultos envelhecentes passando por este processo de ensino aprendizagem. O termo envelhecentes foi utilizado para identificar sujeitos na meia idade e idosos. Esta pesquisa teve como objetivo geral analisar os significados que os envelhecentes atribuem à aplicação de um processo de aprendizagem da natação, através do conteúdo de suas falas; e como objetivos específicos: 1) caracterizar o perfil dos envelhecentes participantes como alunos do processo de aprendizagem de natação nesta fase da vida; 2) verificar o conhecimento e a vivências motoras no meio líquido ao longo da vida dos envelhecentes participantes como alunos do processo de ensino aprendizagem de natação nesta fase da vida; 3) avaliar a aplicação de um programa de ensino de natação para os envelhecentes acadêmicos da 3a Idade Adulta-FEF-UFAM. A amostra foi constituída de 16 envelhecentes, sendo 14 mulheres e 2 homens, entre 45 a 74 anos. Como metodológica principal foi empregado programa de ensino aprendizagem da iniciação a natação, com uma duração de 4 meses. Para a obtenção dos dados, foram utilizadas duas entrevistas e uma planilha de verificação das qualidades hidrodinâmicas utilizadas ao longo do programa. Os resultados apontaram: 1) o aprendizado da natação da quase totalidade da amostra, exceto uma envelhecente que não aprendeu a nadar. 2) Segundo os relatos: ocorreu a melhoria da condição física e a diminuição das dores. 3) Houve um aumento dos escores de qualidades hidrodinâmicas e metragem de 15m para 25m. Em relação aos significados de aprender a nadar, houve um melhor desenvolvimento motor e a busca de um estilo de vida saudável e o medo de um afogamento como relatos de destaque. Os resultados apontaram que é possível aprender a nadar nesta fase da vida, exceto em relações aos traumas não superados.

Full textEn primer lugar, este documental nació debido a un compromiso social latente en nosotros como periodistas y realizadores audiovisuales. Nos motiva denunciar los abusos cometidos en nuestro país, sobre todo hacia las personas más desposeídas. Vemos en Chile un Estado que limita su rol y despliega una legislación ambigua sin incluir a las minorías mayoritarias, con redes de influencia de operadores políticos, a lo que se suma una población desinformada y con muchas necesidades. Creemos que el documental cinematográfico es una poderosa herramienta de transformación de la realidad, si se desarrolla en la dirección correcta, esto es, apostando a través del cine por la conquista de una sociedad más justa, libre e igualitaria, mediante un trabajo artístico de calidad estética, y con un criterio ético y un lenguaje que pueda ser asimilado por miles de personas de distintos estratos y sectores sociales, tanto en Chile como en Latinoamérica y el mundo. Es por eso que escogimos el tema minero como eje de nuestro trabajo, ya que comprendemos que es una temática siempre actual y de tremenda relevancia, que necesita ser conocido por la sociedad en general. Es el cobre el mineral que más contribuye a la economía nacional y, al mismo tiempo, el que brinda mayores ganancias a capitales privados extranjeros. Este recurso natural adquiere un valor que está por sobre los derechos de los habitantes y el medio ambiente de aquellas zonas donde se obtiene, ya que los grandes proyectos de extracción, generalmente, conllevan el desalojo de pueblos y profundos cambios demográficos y ambientales en el territorio. Así ha sucedido por lo menos reiteradas veces en los últimos años, donde casos como el de la minera Los Pelambres o el de Pascua Lama en el norte chico, son solo los ejemplos más conocidos.
