Penelitian tentang studi analisis kobalt secara kolorimetri dengan l-nitroso-2-naftol telah dilakukan. Reaksi pembentukan kompleks dilakukan pada pH 9. Hasil penelitian diperoleh kompteks kobalt yang terbentuk mempunyai bilangan koordinasi tiga. Kompleks yang terbentuk mengikuti alur Hukum Beer sampai konsentrasi 4·10-4 M. Adanya ion nikel dan ion besi masing-masing sampai konsentrasi 20 mg/L dan 5 mg/L, tidak memberikan gangguan analisis, sedangkan konsentrasi besi lebih besar dari 6 mg/L menyebabkan deviasi positif.

As lesões cutâneas de 16 pacientes com hanseníase foram estudadas por imunofluorescência com anticorpos monoclonais anti-monócitos (OKM1 e anti-MO) e anti-Ia (OKIa). Foi avaliada a atividade de fosfatase ácida utilizando-se naftol AS-B1 fosfato como substrato. Os macrófagos parecem constituir uma população heterogênea em relação aos antigenos estudados neste trabalho e quanto a atividade enzimática. This paper describes a case study of petroleum‐contaminated soil/sediment samples which were analyzed using gas chromatography‐flame ionization detector (GC‐FID) for total petroleum hydrocarbons (TPH), volatile aromatic com‐pounds: benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, and xylenes (BTEX) and naphthalene by GC‐MS, and oil and grease (O/G) con‐tent by sonication in hexane. The ratio of (TPH) / (O/G) shows that the hydrocarbon fraction is between 7% and 87%. The content of volatile organic fraction BTEX accounts for only a small proportion of total TPH, and the ratio of (BTEX) / (TPH) ranges from 0.1%

Nafion-azole (benzimidazole, 1,2,4-triazole, 1,2,3-triazole) composite membranes were prepared by room temperature and autoclave solution processing for high temperature (above 100 °C) PEMFC. Among the various Nafion – azole composite membranes, Nafion – 1,2,3-triazole membrane showed excellent flexibility, thermal stability, and homogeneous structure. Nafion – 1,2,4-triazole composite membrane had high thermal and mechanical properties, and also showed high proton conductivity of 0.02 S/cm at the temperature of 160 °C under dry (N2) condition.
