The multi-scale dynamics of aqueous solutions of the hydrophilic peptide N-acetyl-glycine-methylamide (NAGMA) have been investigated through extended frequency-range depolarized light scattering (EDLS), which enables the broad-band detection of collective polarizability anisotropy fluctuations. High anion gap metabolic acidosis (HAGMA) is a hallmark of Diabetic Ketoacidosis (DKA). Occasionally, a Normal Anion Gap Metabolic Acidosis (NAGMA) can be seen, especially during the treatment phase. In this case report, a 55-year-old lady with diabetes mellitus who presented with a 2-day history of fever, lethargy and multiple episodes of vomiting and diarrhoea. Phase-pure nanostructured silver-doped hydroxyapatite (nAgHA) of various Ag contents was synthesised. These nAgHA were then evaluated in-vitro using human mesenchymal stem cells (hMSCs) and Escherichia coli (E. coli). Results revealed that hMSCs grew generally well on all nAgHA at all time points. In addition, fewer E. coli were seen attaching on the surface of all nAgHA. Hence, this work demonstrated that nAgHA offers considerable potential as a biomaterial.

To achieve its renewable energy targets, Algeria has launched several projects, such as the Hassi Rmel solar thermal-gas hybrid power plant, the Taberkine wind farm in Adrar, and several small photovoltaic power plants.
