The thesis deals with issues of random numbers, their generating and use in cryptography. Introduction of work is aimed to resolution of random number generators and pseudo--random number generators. There is also included often used dividing generators on software and hardware. We mention advantages and disadvantages of each type and area of their use. Then we describe examples of random and pseudorandom numbers, mainly hardware based on physical phenomenon such as the decay of radioactive material or use atmospheric noise. The following part is devoted to suggestion own random number generator and a description of its functionality. In the second half of the work we devote to the field of cryptography. We know basic types of cryptographic systems, namely symmetric and asymmetric cryptosystems. We introduce a typical representant the various type and their properties. At the end of the work we again return to our random number generator and verify the randomness generated numbers and obtained cryptograms.

This master thesis deals with a generation of random numbers and Fortuna generator implementation in Java language. In the first part the theoretical familiarization to the issues is introduced. Various entropy sources like mouse movement, keyboard typing, microphone and web camera noise are described and analysed. The analysis focuses on randomness, usability and volume of gathered data. Also the Fortuna random number generator is described from the theoretical view. Object analysis and implementation details are described in the last chapter of the document.

This paper is focused on generating random number via entropy generators. There are described sources of entropy on personal computer and described methods of detecting their entropy. There are also described basic operations used for construction and for concept solution this generator under NIST recommendation for personal computer and methods of their testing.

The content of this thesis is the design and statistical tests of two di erent hardware random number generators. It also includes an overview of the sources of entropy, algorithms used to correct deviations from the normal distribution and the description of statistical tests.

This thesis solves the problem of generating random numbers on low-power devices. Author describes possible ways of generating and implements selected generators of (pseudo)random numbers on MSP430F5438A. 4 generators were added by the enhancement of one of them and a new generator was created, using the phenomenon of temperature change in the surroundings. For each generator, test sequences were generated and these sequences were tested by the Dieharder, STS-NIST, and Visual Test. The output of the thesis is the functional implementation of the generators, their testing by statistical methods and their comparison between each other.

A magnetic vortex is a basic state of magnetization that forms in magnetic micro- and nanostructures of an appropriate shape, dimensions and material. A concept of a true random number generator using a random switching of states of the magnetic vortex is presented in this thesis. This concept is realized and random numbers were experimentally generated and numbers were statistically analysed.

In thesis provides manual for instal development program COde Composer Studio, basic implementation of selected cryptosystem with small numbers and suggestion for implementation selected cyptosystem with big numbers.

The thesis deals with establishing uncertainties of indirect measurements. It focuses primarily on random number generators in software enabling the calculation of mea-surement uncertainties using Monte Carlo. Then it focuses on the uncertainty calculati-on indirect measurement as the Monte Carlo method and the classical numerical met-hod. The practical part deals with the verification of randomness generators numbers contained in various softwares. It also deals with the determination of uncertainties indi-rect current measurements by both above-mentioned methods and then comparing and evaluating the values achieved.

Tato práce se zabývá problematikou urychlování genetických algoritmů a hned v úvodu nastiňuje možnosti využití genetických algoritmů v praxi. V první kapitole je detailně rozebrán princip fungování genetického algoritmu. Tato kapitola se dále zabývá možnostmi zákódování problému, který je použit pro běh genetického algoritmu. Konkrétně je vzpomenuto binární zakódování jedince, celočíselné zakódování jedince, neceločíselné zakódování jedince a permutační zakódování jedince. Pro každý typ zakódování jsou dále představeny genetické operátory mutace, křížení a selekce. Důraz je kladen na permutační genetické operátory OX a PMX. Další kapitola se zabývá možnostmi paralelizace genetického algoritmu. Další kapitola představuje nový standard jménem OpenCL, který umožňuje snadnou paralelizaci výpočtú s využitím různých typů procesorů v ten samý čas. OpenCL taktéž zjednodušuje programování pro grafické karty. Další kapitola navrhuje možnost, jak urychlit výpočet genetického algoritmu s využitím grafické karty a jazyka OpenCL. Pro urychlení byl zvolen permutační genetický algoritmus "problém N-dam", který je náročný na paměť grafické karty. Tato kapitola rozebírá technické specifikace grafické karty, které jsou nevyhnutelné k určení maximální velikosti šachovnice. V kapitole je analyzována správná práce s pamětí grafické karty, která je nevyhnutelná k dosažení urychlení zvoleného genetického algoritmu. Jsou zde taky nastíněny dva generátory náhodných čísel, které jsou součástí testů. Následující kapitola detailně popisuje fungování navržené paralelizace genetického algoritmu. Jsou zde porovnány dvě metody evaluace jedince a je popsán způsob testování a vyhodnocování výsledků. Předposlední kapitola porovnává časovou náročnost generátorů náhodných čísel. Bylo zjištěno, že generátor HybridTaus je o 20 rychlejší o proti generátoru XORshift na GPU. Na CPU byl naopak rychlejší generátor XORshift. Generátor XORshift je na GPU 20 krát rychlejší a generátor HybridTaus je dokonce až 80 krát rychlejší. Dále byly porovnány evaluační funkce. Bylo zjištěno, že GPU běh je 800 krát rychlejší oproti běhu na CPU. Paměťově náročná evaluační metoda byla schopná dosáhnout jenom dvojnásobné zrychlení. Kapitola dále porovnává funkce křížení. PMX dosáhlo zrychlení maximálně o 100 a i to v případech, které nejsou atraktivní pro řešení problému N-dam (N>20). V případe OX je možné dosáhnout zrychlení až o 1100. Také v tomto případě jsou atraktivní hodnoty pouze do 500. Testy, které vyhodnocují běh celého GA, ukázaly, že GPU verze je zhruba dvojnásobně rychlejší. Malé zrychlení bylo způsobeno operátorem selekce a funkcí křížení.

The diploma thesis is focused on the program development. The program is aimed at finding optimal design parameters for a two-pole emergency spillway. These parameters are the lengths of the spillway edges and their relative height arrangement. The program is based on the flood wave transformation simulation. Multi – gradient algorithm was used for optimization design parameters of a two-pole safety spillway.
