Based on the VAR model, the long term dynamic relation between economic growth and industrial waste water is analyzed by using co-integration analysis and granger causality test, generalized impulse response function and variance decomposition method in Nanjing, and the related data of industrial waste and GDP indices from 1982 to 2011.
