Contemporary theories of learning suggest that successful learners are active in the
learning process and that they tend to use a number of metacognitive processes to
monitor learning and remembering. Drawing on the theoretical framework of Nelson
and Narens (1992), the current study examined the effect of certain variables on
metamemory processes and on students' ability to recall and recognise learned
material.
The present study explored the effect of four independent variables on five dependent variables.
The independent variables were:
1. degree of learning (responses given until 2 or 8 times correct),
2. judgment of learning (JOL) timing (given immediately after learning session or 24
hours later),
3. retention interval between study and test (2 or 6 weeks), and
4. type of material studied (sentences, in or out of context).
The dependent variables were:
1. judgement of learning (JOL),
2. confidence rating,
3. feeling of knowing (FOK),
4. recall, and
5. recognition..
As ancillary analyses, the study explored, firstly, whether gender differences had an
effect on meta-level and object-level memory, and secondly, whether students who
recalled more also made more accurate metamemory judgements.
The effects of the independent variables on recall and recognition were consistent
with those found by previous studies. The most interesting new finding of the present study was that students who made JOLs after twenty four hours were more likely to
take into account the effect of the interval between learning and testing. Students who
made immediate JOLs did not allow for the effect of the time interval on retention. A
further new finding was that gender appeared to have had an influence on JOLs.
The findings about the effects of timing of JOLs and of gender effects on JOL have
implications for metacognitive theory and will stimulate further research.
The practical significance of this research, particularly the implications for study skills
training for all students, was that educators cannot presume that students will correctly
predict what they will recall after six weeks if they make that judgement immediately
after learning has occurred. Therefore, the effects of the passage of time on memory,
and the efficacy of delaying judgments, should be made explicit.
The finding that the manipulation of JOL timing has a significant effect on the
accuracy of judgements has implications in the wider area of educational policymaking
and for the current debate on competencies and quality assurance. Learning
cannot be considered a simple process and when a large component of learning is selfdirected,
as it is in tertiary institutions and increasingly in schools, many variables are
operating.

Mais les forgerons ont aussi pour specialite de tailler le bois. Grace a leur amitie avec les djinns, ils sont devins et voyants. Ces dons leur ont permi la constitution d'une veritable medecine, et cela fait d'eux non seulement des guerisseurs, mais aussi des magiciens redoutables. Pour renouveler constamment les alliances avec les morts et les esprits de l'autre monde; ils procedent a des rites. Lors des funerailles ils sont amenes a faire office de genealogistes. Ils dirigent les initiatives des jeunes, les hommes s'occupent des circoncisions et les femmes des excisions. Ils sont les pretres de la societe initiatique du komo. Le but de ce travail est de montrer comment les enfants sont associes a ces differentes taches et fonctions de leurs parents<br>This thesis studies how education is traditionally transmitted in my family and the apprenticeship served by young forger. The instruction given, however, goes for beyond the bounds of craft technology. Firstly, for the men there is metal work and for the women, pottery. But they are also both specialised in wood carving. Due to their friendship with the djinns, the forgers are soothsayers or seers. Talents which have lead them to constitute medecine, thus giving them not only the quality of healers but also of formidable magicians. To constantly renew bonds between the dead and spirits from the other world the forgers carry out rites. During funerals they are called upon to act as genealogists. They direct the initiation of the young : the men take charge of circumcision, the women, of excision. They are the priests of the secret initiatory society known as the komo. Lastly, they mediate during marriages and village conflicts. The aim of this piece of work is to show how the children are associated with the different roles and tasks of their parents

Narcis Oller (1846-1930) est considéré comme le créateur du roman catalan moderne. La première partie traite de sa biographie détaillée, inexistante jusqu'à ce jour : origines familiales, enfance à Valls, amitié avec le critique Josep Yxart, son cousin, amour précoce de la littérature. La vie à Barcelone, où il fait son droit, lui permet de se lier aux grandes figures de la renaissance ("renaixenca") : Guimera, Vilanova, Sarda, Matheu, etc. Publiant jusqu'ici en castillan articles et nouvelles, à partir de là il n'écrira pratiquement plus qu'en catalan. Ses sentiments catalanistes ne se démentiront jamais. Ses succès littéraires lui valent l'estime et l'amitié des plus grands écrivains de langue castillane : Pereda, Galdos, Clarin, Menendez Pelayo, Pardo Bazan, Valera, etc. Grâce à son traducteur français, à Savine, il fait la connaissance de Zola qui préfacera l'édition française de la Papallona ("le papillon"). En même temps que sa vie nous analysons ses réactions devant les événements sociaux et politiques qui se produisent en Catalogne. La deuxième partie traite de ses lectures de jeunesse, de ses théories littéraires, de ses méthodes de travail. The first part deals with his biography in full detail, not available until now : family origins, childhood in Valls, friendship with the critic Josep Yxart, his cousin, early love of literature. His life in Barcelona, where he was a law-student, enabled him to meet the mail figures of the "renaissance ("renaiwenca") : Guimera, Vilanova, Sarda, Matheu, etc. First publishing articles and short stories in Spanish, then he wrote practically everything in Catalan. His Catalan feelings remain firm. His literary success will earn him the esteem and friendship of the greatest writers in Spanish : Pereda, Galdos, Clarin, Menendez Pelayo, Pardo Bazan, Valera, etc. Thanks to his French translator, a. Savine, he became acquainted with Zola who wrote a preface to la Papallona ("le papillon"). Together with this life, we analyse his reactions before the social and political events in Catalonia. The second part treats his youthful readings, his literary theories, his working methods. And we devote several chapters to the thematic study of his works : language and style, narrative structures, function of patronyms, autonyms and toponyms, role of society, of the family, of women in this novels, and we end asking ourselves : does this work reflect the reality of his times ? Approved for public release; distribution is unlimited<br>A dense network of conductivity-temperature-depth measurements was conducted from Baffin Bay northward to 82 deg 09 min N at the entrance to the Lincoln Sea, in the most comprehensive physical oceanographic survey ever performed in the northern Baffin Bay-Nares Strait region. These data indicate Nares Strait Atlantic Intermediate Water and Arctic Basin Polar Water to be derived from Arctic Basin waters via the Canadian Archipelago, whereas the West Greenland Current (WGC) is the source of the comparatively dilute West Greenland Current Atlantic Intermediate Water and West Greenland Current Polar Water fractions. Baffin Bay Surface Water is found seasonally throughout northern Baffin Bay. Recurvature of component branches of the WGC, which attains a maximum baroclinic transport of 0.7 Sv, occurs primarily in Melville Bay (0.2 Sv), south of the Carey Islands (0.1 Sv) and ultimately in Smith Sound (0.2 Sv). The Baffin Current originates as an ice-edge jet in Smith Sound and is augmented by net outflow from Smith, Jones and Lancaster Sounds at rates of 0.3 Sv, 0.3 Sv and 1.1 Sv, respectively. Circulation in Smith, Jones and Lancaster Sounds can be described in terms of the Geostrophic Estuarine Circulation Model. The North Water is caused by the combined influences of near-surface layer enthalpy and mechanical ice removal. Vi får följa både Escobar och hans familj men mycket vikt ligger även på hur det amerikanska DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) arbetar för att bekämpa den colombianska medellínkartellen.

Dissertação de Mestrado Integrado em Medicina Veterinária<br>As raças braquicefálicas como o Pug, Boxer, Shih Tzu, Bouledogue Francês e Bulldog Inglês têm popularidade crescente na sociedade mundial. Porém, os defeitos anatómicos como a estenose de narinas e prolongamento do palato mole, apresentados por muitos destes animais, ainda são subvalorizados pelos proprietários, pois são tidos como “características normais da raça”. Na literatura veterinária, os sinais clínicos mais frequentemente associados são dispneia, roncos, estridor, regurgitação, vómitos, cianose e colapso. Sabe-se que a obstrução crónica do trato respiratório superior traz consequências importantes a nível respiratório, digestivo e sistêmico para estes animais, podendo leva-los à morte. O médico veterinário tem um papel essencial na orientação dos criadores e proprietários com relação à reprodução, cuidados de saúde, bem-estar e à importância da correção cirúrgica de cães com alterações extremas. Este trabalho experimental sobre a Síndrome Obstrutiva das Vias Aéreas dos Braquicéfalos (BOAS), realizou inquérito online com 100 proprietários de cães braquicéfalos operados das narinas estenóticas e/ou palato mole alongado. Verificou-se uma melhora clínica evidente em 99% destes animais através do aumento no nível de atividade e da redução dos sinais clínicos respiratórios e digestivos.<br>ABSTRACT - Clinical evolution of brachycephalic dogs after corrective surgery in the owner’s view - Brachycephalic breeds such as Pug, Boxer, Shih Tzu, French and English Bulldog have increasing popularity in world society. However, anatomical defects such as stenotic nares and elongated soft palate, presented by many of these animals, are still underestimated by the owners, since they are considered "normal characteristics of the breed". According to the veterinary literature, the clinical signs most frequently associated are dyspnea, snoring, stridor, regurgitation, vomiting, cyanosis and collapse. It is known that chronic obstruction of the upper respiratory tract has important respiratory, digestive and systemic consequences for these animals, which can lead to death. The veterinarian has an essential role in guiding animal breeders and dog owners regarding the breeding, health care attention, welfare and the importance of surgical correction procedures for dogs with severe alterations. This Brachycephalic Airway Obstructive Syndrome (BOAS) experimental study carried out an online survey of 100 owners of brachycephalic dogs who had surgery on the stenotic and / or elongated soft palate. The results showed an evident clinical improvement of 99% of these animals through an increase in the level of activity and the reduction of respiratory and digestive clinical signs.<br>N/A

Avhandlinga har dreidd seg om Arild Linneberg sitt virke som litteraturkritikar, i hovudsak i litterære tidsskrift på 1980-talet, men med fleire skråblikk på andre og til dels seinare tekstar. Føremålet har vore å avdekkje korleis Linnebergs litteraturkritikk fungerer som formidling av litteratur til eit lesande publikum. Det gjev serpreg til litteraturkritikken hans at han ope vedgår å prioritere det fyrstnemnde, å vera lojal mot den indre logikken i verka, medan han står i opposisjon til ein tabloid moderne litteraturkritikk han meiner sel seg til marknaden og er gjennomsyra av “egentlighetens sjargong”: Vår tids forbrukarjournalistiske litteraturkritikk gjev inntrykk av å representere sanning og autentisitet, og kritikarane er blinde for sin eigen retoriske praksis og tradisjonane dei sjølve er påverka av. Dette medan det same feltet til langt ut på 1800-talet var eit friområde for dialogisme, karnevalisme og ironi – for dei kreative krumspringa Linneberg med sterkt retorisk sjølvmedvit gjer rom for i det han skriv. Han kombinerer lange historiske perspektiv med formmessige eksperiment, samstundes som tekstane hans er teoretiske og informasjonstette, samfunnsengasjerte og politiske. Det blir interessant og humoristisk litteraturkritikk, men den kan vera krevjande for lesarar som ikkje alt er velskolerte – eller som ikkje på førehand har lese verket det er tale om. Linneberg er tru mot sine eigne ideal når han på prinsipielt grunnlag avstår frå å forenkle vanskelege emne, men når han samstundes aksentuerer det karnevalistiske og folkelege, anar ein at det finst nokre vanskelege paradoks i litteraturkritikken hans. Det er eit visst avvik mellom ambisjonar og praksis, synleg serleg når denne litteraturkritikken som har normbrotet og dissonansane som ambisjon, sjølv kjem med mange sterke erklæringar som ikkje alltid verkar foreinlege med den dialogiske toleransen tekstane oppmodar til. Linnebergs litteraturkritikk balanserer på ein knivsegg: Den strevar mot nærsøkne analysar som både er sympatiske og dekonstruktive, samstundes som den ber i seg mykje opposisjonell vilje og mange store ambisjonar på litteraturen og litteraturkritikken sine vegner. Paradoksa har kome fram gjennom døma vi har studert, og denne avhandlinga har ikkje hatt til føremål å “løyse” dei, enn seia å setja seg til doms over dei, men å analysere og forstå det retoriske spelet hjå ein litteraturkritikar som vil svært mykje, til tider meir enn etablissementet han tilhøyrer gjev rom for. Denne utsette posisjonen krev av Linnebergs litteraturkritikk at den heile tida utfordrar grenser, samstundes som den trivst i dei uavklåra mellomposisjonane. Jamvel om tekstane somtid strevar i denne kontinuerlege striden, mister dei aldri den dynamiske opprørsviljen sin.

Detta arbete behandlar social kritik, ideologi och ironi i ett urval kåserier i samlingen Harnings bästa droppar (1993), skrivna av författaren och samhällsdebattören Anderz Harning. Kåserierna publicerades ursprungligen i tidningen Dagens Nyheter åren 1982–1992. Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka hur Anderz Harnings samhällskritik kommer till uttryck i kåserierna, vilka olika teman och inriktningar kritiken innehåller samt vilka stilistiska verktyg kåsören använder för att framföra sin kritik av det samtida svenska samhället. De metoder som används i undersökningen har valts utifrån behovet av att kunna analysera såväl innehållet som formen i kåserierna. I innehållsanalysen används retorisk argumentationsanalys, idé- och ideologianalys samt en klassifikationsmodell för ämnessfärer hämtad från Anders Fernbergs avhandling Kåseristil (2004). I analysen av formen görs en stilanalys i form av retorisk textanalys med specifik inriktning mot stilfigurer. För att lyfta fram och klassificera ironi i materialet används också Wayne C. Booths modell för identifikation av ironimarkörer presenterad i A Rhetoric of Irony (1974). Resultatet av undersökningen visar att Harnings samhällskritik kan delas in i fyra olika teman: sverigekritik, miljökritik, politisk kritik och kulturkritik. Författarens ideologiska tillhörighet går inte att bestämma till något specifikt politiskt parti, men han gör genomgående ett ställningstagande för individualism och mot kollektivism. Hans kritik av socialdemokraterna i samtiden är också mer frekvent än specifik kritik av borgerliga partier. Harning lyfter återkommande fram frågor om makthavares förljugenhet, den hotade yttrandefriheten i det likformiga kontrollsamhället och den enskilda individens kamp för frihet. Formanalysen visar att kåserierna innehåller både troper och ornament och där ironi är den mest framträdande av troperna. Undersökningen visar också att författaren använder den klassiska retorikens verktyg för argumentation, logos, etos och patos för att påverka läsarens intellekt och känsla och på så sätt framställa sig själv som trovärdig, hederlig och pålitlig.

Esant teisinei galimybei įmonei nutraukti savo veiklą įsikūrimo valstybėje be įmonės likvidavimo, bei įsikurti kitoje valstybėje, įmonė išlaikytų savo juridinį statusą, o visas įmonės turtas ir prisiimti įsipareigojimai tiesiogiai pereitų naujoje valstybėje įkurtai įmonei. Darbe yra analizuojama įmonės registruotos buveinės perkėlimo galimybė Europos Sąjungos valstybių narių tarptautinės privatinės teisės atžvilgiu, bei jų vidaus materialinės teisės atžvilgiu. Taip pat analizuojama Europos Teisingumo Teismo jurisprudencija ir jos įtaka tokio perkėlimo galimybei bei aptariama alternatyvi įmonės registruotos buveinės perkėlimo galimybė remiantis antriniais Europos Sąjungos teisės aktais.<br>Many companies in European Union are interested in the possibility to transfer their registered offices to another country. Doing that would lead to a change in the applicable law. If a company is allowed to dissolve in its country of incorporation without the liquidation, and to incorporate in the new state, the company would maintain its legal status and all of it‘s assets and liabilities would be passed to a company incorporated in the new state. This paper analyzes the possibility of such transfer according to European Union member states private international law and substantive law provisions. It also analyzes the jurisprudence of the European Court of Justice and it's influence on possibility of such transfer. The indirect possibility of such transfer, according to European Union secondary law, is also disscused.

Affaibli par fréquents déplacements, au Xe siècle le catholicossat d’Arménie peinait à imposer son autorité sur quelques diocèses, et le succès du mouvement sectaire des T‘ondrakiens augmentait encore ses difficultés. Alors la foi déclinait dans la masse populaire, trois grands écrivains et maîtres spirituels, tous appartenant à une même famille spirituelle Xosrov Anjewac‘i, son fils Grigor Narekac‘i et l’oncle maternel de celui-ci Anania Narekac‘i, s'engagent à relever la piété et à lutter contre les hérétiques. Dans la première partie de notre travail nous avons essayé de restituer le cadre de la spiritualité de l’Ecole de Narek et de présenter un tableau général des idées que Grigor Narekac‘i exprime dans son Commentaire du Cantique des cantiques. Bien que l’on puisse mettre en évidence un caractère systématique, tracer des parallèles entre les idées de Grigor et les concepts philosophiques, sa pensée reste toutefois profondément biblique. L’étude des sources historiques, nous a permis de dissiper le doute concernant l’appartenance de l’œuvre à la plume de Grigor. D’un autre côté nous avons relevé l’affinité spirituelle que le Commentaire tient avec l’ensemble de la tradition narékienne. Sur les motifs de la composition de cette œuvre nous avons avancé l’hypothèse qu’elle était une réponse de l’orthodoxie aux tentatives d’attirer des masses populaires dans un mouvement sectaire des T‘ondrakiens. La deuxième partie est consacrée au problème de la composition du Commentaire et à l’examen de son texte biblique. L’examen du texte biblique du Commentaire nous a permis de comprendre l’influence de la Septante ou la Pešitta. Nous avons comparer ce texte biblique avec d’autres versions arméniennes du Cantique, afin d’observer leurs affinités. Nous avons également traité des sources patristiques et des méthodes herméneutiques dont use l’auteur pour aboutir à ses objectifs spirituels. Dans la troisième partie du travail nous avons présenté le symbolisme de l’œuvre dans sa dimension mystico-sacramentelle et le sujet central du Commentaire, l’amour sous ses différents aspects spirituels. Nous avons mis un intérêt particulier à étudier le champ théologique du Commentaire. La première difficulté dans cette recherche tient au fait que l’auteur ne présente pas ses idées sur un mode systématique, mais selon l’inspiration qu’il reçoit au cours de son travail. Sa pensée n’est pas spéculative, mais dominée par l’inspiration lyrique et spirituelle. Grigor essaie de réunir les deux méthodes d’interprétations (allégorique et naturaliste) et il considère le Cantique comme un chant prophétique exaltant l’amour des époux mystiques à travers de la beauté érotique et sacrée à la fois. Pour l’auteur, l’amour humain sert de modèle de l’amour divin, car les mystères spirituels se manifestent par des expressions visibles. Cette métaphore nuptiale de l’union bénie des époux est en réalité le symbole de l’union de l’homme et de Dieu, de l’Eglise et du Christ. Grigor ne cherche pas à définir les aspects d’amour et leurs rôles dans l’expérience humaine. Pour lui, aimer c’est tout simplement vivre dans Christ, aimer c’est vivre sa parole, c’est extérioriser la foi par les actions. L’amour est la joie de connaître le Christ comme son Sauveur. Devant une telle réalité, l’homme aimant Dieu est conscient que son sentiment ne peut jamais s’égaler à celui que Dieu lui-même a pour l’homme. Voilà, selon nous, la source de l’affliction spirituelle que le moine de Narek porta dans son cœur. Son amour pour Dieu est grand, mais si insignifiant dans son expression, qu’il incite l’auteur à parler avec Dieu. Si l’amour est sa muse poétique, c’est la parole qui guérit la blessure de Grigor, car exprimer l’amour pour Dieu, c’est parler avec lui!<br>Weakened by frequent displacements, in Xe century the catholicosat of Armenia struggled to impose its authority on some dioceses, and the success of the sectarian movement of the T‘ondrakians increased its difficulties further. As the faith declined among the popular mass, three great writers and spiritual Masters, all pertaining to the same spiritual family Xosrov Anjewac‘i, his son Grigor Narekac‘i and the maternal uncle of this one Anania Narekac‘i, are committed to raise piety and fighting against the heretics. In the first part of our work we tried to restore the framework of the spirituality of the School of Narek and to present a general picture of the ideas that Grigor Narekac‘i expresses in his Commentary of the Song of Songs. Although one can highlight a systematic character and trace parallels between the ideas of Grigor and philosophical concepts, his thought remains however deeply biblical. The study of the historical sources enabled us to dissipate the doubt concerning the appurtenance of work to the pen of Grigor. We raised the spiritual affinity that the Commentary holds with the whole of the tradition of the School of Narek. Concerning the reasons for the composition of this work, we have put forward the hypotheses that it was a response of the orthodoxy to the attempts of the T‘ondrakians to attract popular masses in to a sectarian movement. The second part of our work is devoted to the problem of the composition of the Commentary and the examination of its biblical text. The study of the biblical text of the Commentary enabled us to understand the influence of the Septuagint or the Pešitta. We compared this biblical text with other Armenian versions of the Song of Songs, in order to observe their affinities. We also examined patristic sources and hermeneutical methods used by the author for his spiritual objectives. In the third part of the work we presented the symbolism of the Commentary in its mystical and sacramental dimension and its central subject - Love, in its various spiritual aspects. We paid particular interest in studying the theological field of the Commentary. The first difficulty in this research is due to the fact that the author does not present his ideas in a systematic way, but rather according to the inspiration he receives during his work. His thought is not speculative, but dominated by lyrical and spiritual inspiration. Grigor tries to join the two methods of interpretations (allegorical and naturalist) and he interprets the Song of Songs as an exciting prophetic song praising of the mystical couple through both erotic and beauty the love. For the author, human love is used as a model of divine love, because the spiritual mysteries appear by visible expressions. This mystical metaphor of the blessed union of the couple is the symbol of the union of man and God, of the Church and Christ. Grigor does not seek to define the aspects of love and their roles in the human experience. For him, to love is quite simply to live in Christ, to love is to live his word; it is to exteriorize faith by actions. Love is the joy of knowing Christ as one’s Savior. In the face of such a reality, man loving God is conscious that his feelings can never equal those which God Himself has for man. Here, according to us, is the source of the spiritual affliction that the monk of Narek carried in his heart. His love for God is deep, but so unimportant in his expression, that it encourages the author to speak with God. If love is his poetic muse, it is the word which cures the wound of Grigor, because to express love for God, is to speak with him!

Vinte cães braquicefálicos (GB) e 20 cães dolicocefálicos (GC), com até cinco anos de idade, foram incluídos no estudo. Avaliaram-se pressão arterial sistólica, média e diastólica, hemogasometria, ecodopplercardiografia, eletrocardiografia, eletrocardiografia ambulatorial, hematimetria e radiografias torácica e cervical. A média ± desvio padrão da abertura da narina no GB foi estatisticamente menor comparado ao GC (0,23 ± 0,08 cm versus 0,56 ± 0,05 cm, p < 0,001). A SaO2 foi menor no GB (p < 0,001) e a pressão arterial média foi maior no GB (p = 0,05). Todos os cães braquicefálicos apresentaram arritmia sinusal (AS) e 15 (75%) destes tinham AS maior que 20% de variação entre intervalo RR adjacente, enquanto no GC, 17 (85%) animais apresentaram AS e 13 (65%) destes demonstraram AS maior que 20% de variação entre intervalo RR adjacente. A [HCO3-]v e PvCO2 foram maiores no GB (p < 0,001). Resultados deste estudo sugerem que cães braquicefálicos jovens já apresentam menor SaO2 e maior pressão arterial média quando comparados com cães dolicocefálicos. ______________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACT<br>The brachycephalic syndrome is characterized by increased upper airway resistance to airflow due to combinations of anatomical deformities such as stenotic nares, elongation of the soft palate, eversion of the laryngeal saccules and tracheal hypoplasia. Twenty brachycephalic (BG) and 20 dolicocephalic dogs (CG), aged up to five years, were included in the study. Systolic (SAP), mean (MAP), and diastolic (DAP) arterial blood pressure recordings were recorded. Blood gases and complete blood count (CBC) were measured. Doppler echocardiography, electrocardiography, ambulatory electrocardiography as well as thoracic and cervical radiographs were evaluated. The mean ± standard deviation diameter of the nares was significantly lower in BG compared to CG (0.23 ± 0.08 versus 0.56 ± 0.05 cm, p < 0.001). The SaO2 was lower (p < 0.001) and mean arterial pressure higher in BG (p = 0.05). All brachycephalic dogs had sinus arrhythmia (SA), and 15 (75 %) of these showed more than 20 % variation between adjacent R-R intervals, whereas in CG, 17 (85 %) of the animals presented SA and 13 (65 %) of these showed more than 20 % variation between adjacent R-R intervals. <p>Tidigare forskning visar att patienter har olika behov postoperativt, det är sjuksköterskans uppgift att anpassa omvårdnaden till individen. Patienter har postoperativt ett extra stort behov av information. Sjuksköterskor och patienter har olika åsikter om vilka behov som ska tillgodoses först. Sjuksköterskan anser att kompetenta vårdgivare, smärtlindring och den behandling som vårdpersonal ger ska prioriteras först. Det viktigaste för patienterna var kompetenta vårdgivare, kommunikation samt god omvårdnad. Syftet med studien är att beskriva sjuksköterskans postoperativa omhändertagande av patienter som genomgått generell narkos och vårdas på kirurgavdelning. Studien har en kvalitativ ansats. Datamaterialet har samlats in genom semistrukturerade intervjuer. Sex sjuksköterskor intervjuades. Resultatet visar att information är en viktig aspekt i omhändertagandet, både när det gäller att informera patienter om vad som ska ske och vad som sker men också information som patienten själv lämnar till sjuksköterskan om tillståndet. Det är även viktigt att det finns ett fungerande informationsutbyte mellan olika vårdgivare. Ett fungerande samarbete mellan vårdpersonalen och även mellan patient och sjuksköterska behövs för att det ska bli ett bra omhändertagande. Vården som ges ska anpassas efter varje individ och dennes behov. Slutligen anser sjuksköterskorna det vara av vikt att vara lyhörd för patienternas smärttillstånd.</p><br><p>Studies have shown that the care should be adapted to the individual patient. The postoperative patient has a special need for information. The postoperative needs are ranked different by nurses and patients. Nurses find that competent caregivers, pain relief and the treatment should be a high priority. Patients feel that competent caregivers, communication and a good care are the most important needs that they have in the postoperative setting. The aim of this study is to describe nurses postoperative care of patients who has undergone a general anesthesia and who is treated at surgical ward. The study has a qualitative approach. The data has been collected through semistructural interviews. Six nurses have been interviewed. This study shows that information is an important aspect in the patients care. It is important to inform the patient about what is going to happen and what has happened, the patient should also inform the nurse about their condition. There should also be a communication between the different caregivers. Is it also essential that the nurses are attentive to the patients pain. Collaboration between caregivers and between the nurse and patient is vital for a good care. The care should be adapted to the individual needs of the patients.</p>

In Messico, le libertà di stampa e di manifestazione del pensiero vengono costantemente violate da parte della Politica, del Governo, della Polizia e soprattutto, delle organizzazioni criminali che trafficano droga. I trafficanti di droga, chiamati Narcos, si riuniscono in gruppi criminali, i cosiddetti Cartelli della droga, e seminano il terrore in ogni città. Verrà analizzata la situazione di giornalisti e reporter, in particolare attraverso le parole di Javier Valdez Cárdenas, un giornalista messicano assassinato nel 2017, che raccontava la verità sul giornalismo in Messico e denunciava le costanti minacce, intimidazioni e omicidi ad opera dei narcos. La parte finale della tesi è dedicata alla traduzione di uno dei suoi articoli di denuncia, nel quale viene raccontata la terribile realtà che accomuna molti giornalisti e che spesso si conclude con la loro uccisione. Proprio per scampare ad una morte certa, molti di loro chiedono l’esilio in un altro stato o il trasferimento in un'altra città, ma soprattutto chiedono allo Stato, molto spesso assente, di essere protetti.

A les Corts de Barcelona (1412-1413), que presidiren successivament Ferran I i l’infant Alfons, s’aprovà una Constitució, intitulada «Per tal que les leys», que determinava la recopilació en llatí i en traducció catalana (tret d’algunes excepcions en sentit invers) de la major part del corpus jurídic de Catalunya, fonamentalment Constitucions i Capítols de Corts. L’ordenació de la dita recopilació seguí les rúbriques dels primers deu llibres del Codi de Justinià. El projecte, conegut com a Compilació, fou iniciat per juristes de la mida de Bonanat Pere i Jaume Callís, en una primera comissió escollida per Ferran I; i el continuaren el diputat Francesc Basset i l’oïdor de comptes Narcís de Sant Dionís, comissionats a posteriori per la Diputació del General. No obstant això, la Compilació resultà parcialment fallida. Es projectà la confecció de dos volums en pergamí, un en llatí i l’altre en català, que anirien a raure a l’Arxiu Reial, i de dues còpies, que custodiaria la Diputació del General. De tota manera, només se’n conserven en l’actualitat tres exemplars en pergamí a l’Arxiu de la Corona d’Aragó que poden ser identificats amb aquells. Un dels exemplars catalans, fins al present moment, continua perdut. Conclou amb taules que identifiquen les disposicions legislatives contingudes al Compendium.<br>During the Courts of Barcelona (1412-1413), presided successively by Ferdinand I and the Prince Alfonse, a Constitution was approved, entitled “Per tal que les leys”, that prescribed that the majority of the juridical corpus of Catalonia, basically Constitutions and “Capitula Curiae”, were collected in Latin and in its Catalan translation (besides some exceptions in reverse). The distribution of this collection followed the titles of the first ten books of the Justinian’s Code. The project, known as Compilation, was initiated by jurists such important as Bonanat Pere and Jaume Callís, i.e. the first commission elected by Ferdinand I; and it was continued by Francesc Basset and Narcís de Sant Dionís, selected a posteriori by the “Diputació del General”. However, this collection partially failed. Two volumes in parchment were designed, one in Latin and another in Catalan, to be located in the Royal Archive, and two copies, to be guarded by the “Diputació”. Nevertheless, only three copies in parchment are preserved in the present Archive of the Crown of Aragon that could be identified with those ones. One of the Catalan copies is still lost. The jurist Narcís de Sant Dionís wrote a Latin brief treatise .named Compendium by himself. that could be useful as a handbook to the specialists, structured like the Justinian’s Code. We still have a translation to Catalan, probably by the same Sant Dionís. The Compendium is a short handbook that surpasses the Compilation, because it quotes a higher number of laws since it only presents summaries of the legal dispositions. The Edition of the three Latin manuscripts that contain the work of Sant Dionís is the main object of the present thesis. In front of the Latin Edition, it is provided the transcription of one copy of the Catalan version, the manuscript 1 of the “Generalitat”, in the Archive of the Crown of Aragon. An introductory study about the biography of Sant Dionís intends to clarify his genealogy. The formation of the Compilation is also evaluated. The thesis finishes with tables that identify the legislative dispositions contained in the Compendium.

Bakgrund: MR-undersökningar är mer eller mindre krävande för patienter i alla åldrar. Utöver de speciella rutinerna inför en MR-undersökning så krävs det att patienten ligger helt stilla under hela undersökningen för att undvika rörelseartefakter. För att barn ska klara av detta används oftast sedering eller narkos som hjälpmedel, men vid intag av farmaka medföljer alltid en risk för oönskade effekter och allergiska reaktioner. Syfte: Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att beskriva strategier som kan användas för att minska behovet av sedering eller narkos av barn som genomgår en MR-undersökning. Metod: En systematisk litteraturstudie utfördes för att besvara syftet. Resultatet från elva kvantitativa artiklar har granskats, analyserats och sammanställts. Resultat: Resultatet är presenterat i tre huvudkategorier med fem underkategorier vilkas metoder på olika sätt gör det lättare för patienten att genomgå en MR-undersökning. Huvudkategorierna är att bli förberedd, att underlätta tiden i MR-kameran och en kombination av att bli förberedd och underlätta tiden i MR-kameran. Konklusion: Genom att använda metoder anpassade för barn kan behovet av sederingar och narkoser minskas. Icke-farmakologiska metoder som förbereder barnen, underlättar tiden för dem i MR-kameran samt en kombination av dessa har resulterat i att fler barn kan genomgå en MR-undersökning utan behov av sedering eller narkos.

From an ingenious fool to the Grail King: the significance of courtly love in Wolfram’s Parzival The focus of this thesis lies on the doctrines in courtly behavior, a multifaceted system of chivalric norms and behaviors often referred to as the knightly virtue system based on the literature of the early and high Middle Ages. The aim of this thesis is to study the different aspects, such as religious, military, courtly and romantic, of the knightly virtue system. The romantic aspect of the knightly ideal is given particular attention, as it is the focus of this paper. The word minne is the bearer of the romantic aspect and is central in Wolfram’s von Eschenbach Parzival which is the main source studied. The following issues are discussed in more detail: how the knightly ideal is presented in Wolfram’s epic and to what extent the minne affects the development of Parzival to the Grail king. In the course of this thesis it will also be shown that the romantic aspect is the most influential aspect of the knightly virtue system and that this particular aspect truly defines an ideal knight.

Dans son œuvre romanesque, Narcis Oller (1846-1930) met en scène la bourgeoisie catalane du dernier tiers du XIXème siècle. Vilaniu (1885) et La febre d'or (1890-1892) sont les romans majeurs de cet auteur marqué par le naturalisme français. Dans Vilaniu, dont l'intrigue se situe dans une petite ville, le narrateur évoque avec minutie les us et coutumes, le folklore et les fêtes régionales tout en annonçant l'extinction d'une bourgeoisie rurale conservatrice et traditionaliste. La febre d'or est conçu dans le prolongement de Vilaniu, mais l'action se déroule à Barcelone, se focalisant sur les opérations de bourse et la spéculation, liées à la société concessionnaire du chemin de fer reliant Barcelone à Vilaniu. Le narrateur omniscient ébauche avec humour et sévérité la chronique d'une nouvelle bourgeoisie d'extraction rurale, inculte et prétentieuse, mais que la ruine n'épargnera pas. Ces deux romans sont nourris d'histoire catalane, mais à travers une structure, des personnages, des dialogues, et dans un langage qui relève de la création littéraire, celle-ci faisant véritablement l'objet de notre étude<br>In his novels, Narcis Oller (1846-1930) depicts the Catalan bourgeoisie of the last third of the XIXth century. Vilaniu (1885) and La Febre d'or (1890-1892) are the major novels of this author marked by French naturalism. In Vilaniu, the intrigue of which takes place in a small city, the narrator describes with minutia the local customs, folklore and the regional celebrations while announcing the extinction of a conservative and traditionalistic rural bourgeoisie. La Febre d'or is conceived as a continuation of Vilaniu, but the action unrolls in Barcelona, and it focuses on the stock-market operations and speculation related with the company that holds the concession to operate the railroad between Barcelona and Vilaniu. The omniscient narrator sketches out with humor and severity the chronicle of a new rural bourgeoisie, uneducated and pretentious, which will not be able to escape ruin. The two novels are filled out with the Catalan history, a history which filters through the outline, the characters, the dialogues and the language which are a matter for the literary creation which is the real object of our research

La complexation des acides amines basiques lysine et arginine par les calix4, 6 et 8arenes p-sulfonates dans l'eau a ete etudiee a ph 1 et a ph 8 par spectroscopie rmn et par microcalorimetrie. Puis la complexation des dipeptides lysine-lysine, arginine-arginine, lysine-arginine et arginine-lysine ainsi que la complexation des tripeptides trilysine et triarginine par les trois calixarenes a ete etudiee dans l'eau a ph 8. Pour tous ces systemes, les proprietes thermodynamiques de complexation ont ete determinees, et l'influence des electrolytes nacl, mgcl 2 et cacl 2 a ete examinee. Le comportement des calixnarenes p-sulfonates vis-a-vis des acides amines et des peptides courts a ete compare par microcalorimetrie avec le comportement de quatre glycosaminoglycanes : la chondroitine, l'acide hyaluronique et les sels de sodium et de calcium de l'heparine. L'etude a montre que les calixarenes etaient de meilleurs ligands pour les acides amines, les dipeptides et les tripeptides etudies. Enfin, la comparaison des calixnarenes p-sulfonates et de l'heparine vis-a-vis de deux peptides au role biologique important a montre que ces deux recepteurs presentaient des similitudes de comportement interessantes.

På senare tid har det framkommit vad man skulle kunna benämna som komplexa karaktärsrepresentationer i tv-serier relaterade till brott och illegala handlingar. Exempel på dessa syns i tv-serier som Dexter (2006) vars handling bygger på en huvudkaraktär som utför seriemord. Andra exempel går att hämta ur den samtida populärkulturen, det går inte att bortse från de allt fler tv-serier som ställer vad man konventionellt skulle kalla skurken och hans handlingar i fokus. En löpande produktion av tv-serier pågår ständigt och tv-tittandet individualiseras allt mer till följd av streaming-tjänster som Netflix, vilket lämnar utrymme för allt fler mångfacetterade bilder av vad man tidigare såg som tvådimensionella karaktärer. Ett sätt att framställa ondska och immoralism som en mänsklig egenskap, genom att ge tittaren en inblick i skurkens liv, kan spegla den sociala verklighet vi lever inom där individen har makt över sina egna handlingar och där lag och konventioner kring moral och etik går att vrida och vända på, beroende på perspektiv Med ambition att undersöka det nämnda forskningsområdet har denna studie som syfte att att undersöka hur kriminalitet skildras i tv-serien Narcos (2015) och hur detta uppfattas av tittaren. Detta med hjälp av forskningsfrågorna: Hur representeras kriminella aktiviteter och kriminella i tv-serien Narcos? Hur upplever tittarna de kriminella aktiviteter och kriminalitet i tv-serien Narcos? Med brist på forskning inom området ur ett svenskt perspektiv, ämnar studien att fokusera på den målgrupp som främst exponeras för dessa typer av tv-serier: svenska ungdomar. Studien utfördes således utifrån en triangulering av en innehållsanalys och fokusgrupp, bestående av 8 ungdomar mellan åldrarna 18-26 från Stockholmsområdet. Resultaten från innehållsanalysen och fokusgrupperna visade på att kriminella i tv-serien representeras som karaktärer med lägre klasstillhörighet, med en fattig bakgrund som via kriminella medel vunnit till sig makt och en förmögenhet. Kriminella aktiviteter som mord, mutor och narkotikahandel är en del av vardagen och betraktas som norm. De värderar familj och relationer högt men förhåller sig till omoraliska handlingar. Kriminalitet upplevs som ett medel med vilka individer i tv-serien tjänar sina pengar och kan betraktas som en typ av vardagligt jobb. Då detta tillhör de kriminellas vardag och sätt att leva, ses inte detta som avvikande från hur en kriminell karaktär inom serien ska bete sig. Såväl kriminella som politiker och polis, som står som någon sorts motsättning till kriminella aktiviteter och kriminalitet i tv-serien, utför immoraliska aktiviteter. Dessa immoraliska aktiviteter förstärks av kampen om pengar, vilka samtliga deltagare håller med om är ursprunget till immoralitet.

Previous issue date: 2015-02-23<br>Dematiaceous, demaceous or dark fungi comprise a large, heterogeneous group of fungi that cause a variety of diseases, including feohifomycoses, cromoblastomycoses, mycetoma and allergies. Species of the genus Cladosporium are relevant in developing cromoblatomycoses, and stand out as plant contaminants. The toxicity of conventional antifungal and increased resistance to therapeutic regimens, driving the study of the antifungal activity of new alternatives, including natural sources. Given this context, the aim of this study was to evaluate the In vitro antifungal activity of seven essential oils (Laurus nobilis L., Mentha arvensis, Mentha X piperita L., Mentha spicata, Ocimum basilicum L., Cymbopogon nardus L. Rendle e Origanum vulgare) and the phytoconstituent citronellal on strains of dematiaceous fungi. In this study, the following methods were used: microbiological screening, determining the minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) and Minimum Fungicidal Concentration (MFC), kinetics of microbial death, inhibition of conidial germination and evaluation of morphological changes. Among the essential oils tested, the C. nardus essential oil demonstrated potent antifungal activity, inhibiting the growth of 83,3% of strains used. The Cymbopogon Nardus L. Rendle (citronella grass) belongs to the family Poaceae, subfamily Panicoideae. The Cymbopogon genus consists of eighty-five species. C. nardus presents constitution of essential oil with two major compounds: the citronellal and geraniol. Citronellal is a monoterpene, predominantly formed by the secondary metabolism of plants. The essential oil of C. nardus had its MIC and MFC established at 64 mg / mL and the citronellal in 32 mg / mL. Both the essential oil of C. nardus as citronellal significantly inhibited the radial mycelial growth of the tested strains, the MIC concentrations, MICx2 and MICx4 after 12 days of exposure. In MIC50 concentrations (64 ug / ml- essential oil and 32μg / ml -citronellal) and MIC90 (128 ug / ml - 512μg essential oil and / ml - citronellal), were able to significantly inhibit the germination of fungal conidia from both strains tested. The determination of the effect of the essential oil of C. nardus and citronellal on the morphogenesis of C. carrionii strains showed that both were capable of inducing morphological changes, as development tortuous hyphae, fine and decreased conidiation in MIC concentrations, MICx2 and MICx4. Thus, it is concluded that the essential oil of C. nardus and its phytoconstituent citronellal showed pronounced antifungal activity against the strains of C. carrionii tested, what drives the study of its In vivo antifungal activity, as well as the search for pharmaceutical formulations to be used for the therapy of certain mycoses, especially those caused by dematiaceous fungi.<br>Fungos dematiáceos, demáceos ou escuros compõem um grupo grande e heterogêneo de fungos que causam uma variedade de doenças, incluindo feohifomicoses, cromoblastomicoses, micetomas e alergias. Espécies do gênero Cladosporium são relevantes no desenvolvimento de cromoblatomicoses, e se destacam como contaminantes de plantas. A toxicidade dos antifúngicos convencionais e o aumento da resistência aos esquemas terapêuticos utilizados impulsionam o estudo da atividade antifúngica de novas alternativas, incluindo as de fonte natural. Diante desse contexto, o objetivo deste trabalho foi avaliar a atividade antifúngica In vitro de sete óleos essenciais (Laurus nobilis L., Mentha arvensis, Mentha X piperita L., Mentha spicata, Ocimum basilicum L., Cymbopogon nardus L. Rendle e Origanum vulgare) e do fitoconstituinte citronelal sobre cepas de fungos dematiáceos. Neste estudo, os seguintes métodos foram utilizados: triagem microbiológica, determinação da Concentração Inibitória Mínima (CIM) e Concentração Fungicida Mínima (CFM), cinética de morte microbiana, inibição da germinação de conídios e avaliação de alterações morfológicas. Dentre os óleos essenciais testados, o de C. nardus demonstrou uma potente atividade antifúngica, inibindo o crescimento de 83,3% das cepas de fungos demáceos utilizadas. O Cymbopogon nardus L. Rendle (capim-citronela) pertence à família Poaceae, subfamília Panicoideae. O gênero Cymbopogon é constituído de oitenta e cinco espécies. O C. nardus apresenta constituição do óleo essencial com dois compostos majoritários: o citronelal e o geraniol. Citronelal é um monoterpeno, predominantemente formado pelo metabolismo secundário de plantas. O óleo essencial de C. nardus teve sua CIM e CFM estabelecidas em 64 μg/ mL e o citronelal em 32 μg/ mL. Tanto o óleo essencial de C. nardus quanto o citronelal inibiram de forma significativa o crescimento micelial radial das cepas testadas, nas concentrações CIM, CIMx2 e CIMx4, após 12 dias de exposição. Nas concentrações CIM50 (64 μg/ mL- óleo essencial e 32μg/mL -citronelal) e CIM90 (128 μg/mL - óleo essencial e 512μg/mL - citronelal), foram capazes de inibir de forma significativa a germinação dos conídios fúngicos de ambas as cepas testadas. A determinação do efeito do óleo essencial de C. nardus e do citronelal sobre a morfogênese das cepas de C. carrionii demonstrou que ambos foram capazes de induzir alterações morfológicas, como desenvolvimento de hifas tortuosas, finas e diminuição da conidiação, nas concentrações CIM, CIMx2 e CIMx4. Dessa forma, conclui-se que o óleo essencial de C. nardus e o seu fitoconstituinte citronelal mostraram pronunciada atividade antifúngica sobre as cepas de C. carrionii testadas, o que impulsiona o estudo de suas atividades antifúngicas In vivo, bem como a busca por formulações farmacêuticas a serem utilizadas para a terapia de algumas micoses, especialmente aquelas causadas por fungos demáceos.

La intención de este trabajo de fin de grado es proponer un análisis interlingüístico de subtítulos teniendo en cuenta la ficción histórica Narcos producida por Netflix. El objetivo principal no es otro sino analizar la calidad de un fragmento del primer capítulo de la primera temporada, denominado "La llegada", desde un punto de vista lingüístico y de traducción. Además, cabe destacar los beneficios del cambio de código, puesto que es la primera narconovela que combina el inglés y el español. En concreto, el primer capítulo consiste en una introducción a la serie de televisión, ubicándola desde un punto de vista espaciotemporal y aportando información necesaria acerca de los principales acontecimientos y personajes, en función del análisis siguiente. El segundo capítulo se centra en el concepto de multilingüismo, muestra los resultados de las diferentes modalidades en las que se manifiesta el fruto del choque entre lo hispano y lo anglosajón. Por último, el tercer capítulo se propone explorar el mundo de la traducción audiovisual como variedad de traducción, incluyendo el tratamiento de las referencias culturales dentro de la narconovela, y poner en práctica el marco teórico de la subtitulación en el análisis de los subtítulos seleccionados.

El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo de investigación analizar la construcción narrativa y ética de las dos primeras temporadas de la serie Narcos Colombia, según los conceptos docudramatic research y performing of memory, que se desprenden de la teoría de Stephen N. Lipkin y Alan Rosenthal. Así pues, para evaluar el enfoque argumental de la serie bajo estas dos nociones, se configuran dos principios éticos del docudrama: la fidelidad y la autenticidad de la postura. Para la exploración metodológica, se utiliza un modelo de análisis sistemático de fuentes, significantes semióticos y súper-objetivos por escenas, de igual modo, en apoyo a la información cualitativa recogida en cinco entrevistas, se logra contrastar algunos datos históricos y ficcionales del caso fílmico. Con esta tesis, se pretende redescubrir la importancia de las historias basadas en eventos reales, por consiguiente, se acaba dotando al campo audiovisual de una mirada ética sobre el argumento docudramático.<br>The present work analyzes the narrative and ethical construction of the first two seasons of the Narcos Colombia series, according to the concepts of docudramatic research and perform of memory, which emerge from the theories of Stephen N. Lipkin and Alan Rosenthal’s theories. Evaluating the argument of the series under these two notions, it is configured two ethical principles of the docudrama: fidelity and authenticity of the recreation approach. In methodology, is used a model of systematic analysis of sources, semiotic signifiers and super-goals by scenes, also in support of the qualitative information within five interviews, it is possible to contrast some historical and fictional data of the filmic case. In this thesis, it is intended to rediscover the importance of stories based on real events, therefore it ends up providing the audiovisual field with an ethical view of the docudramatic argument.<br>Tesis
