Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with an analysis of marriage, divorce and birth rate in districts of the Czech republic. The thesis is divided into two parts. In the first part, there is a theoretical introduction to the issues and the second part is devoted to the analysis itself. Besides defining aim of the thesis and a description of the used metodology, the theoretical part contains professional literature review and explanation of the basic terms. The practical part describes and explains trends and changes in the development of marriage, divorce and birth rate in regions of CR in the period from 1950 to 2014. Based on the latest available data the next part describes territorial differences of CR districts in the values of monitored indicators. Analysis discovers development trends and territorial differentiation of demographic processes and their key factors.

This dissertation articulates Merleau-Ponty's philosophy of nature in relation to the existential condition of "natality," as defined by Arendt. Where Heidegger emphasizes mortality in his post-metaphysical ontology, these investigations follow Merleau-Ponty and Arendt who emphasize that humans are not only mortals but "natals," beings who begin. The project has a twofold aim: 1. to present an exegesis of Merleau-Ponty's oeuvre with a special emphasis on the Nature Courses and 2. to sketch out a natal ontology in its own right. This ontology depends on Merleau-Ponty's methodological advancement beyond genetic phenomenology to generative and "poetic" phenomenology, a practice that incorporates historicity and expressivity. He offers a critique of science, particularly of evolutionary biology, that is shown to be relevant in a contemporary context. His natal ontology co-emerges with an ethical standpoint; he shows that a natural prereflective relation to a plurality of others, rather than only a single other, fundamentally conditions human existence. In a natal ontology, knowledge depends on being born with others, through a co-naissance of one's worldly situation

L'objet de cette recherche consiste a mettre en evidence le personnage social, afin de mieux eclairer la biographie intellectuelle de ng qui s7articule autour de deux poles indissociablement lies : l'oeuvre de fiction et l'action culturelle et politique. Rarement, on recontre un ecrivain chez qui l'action militante et la creation litteraire sont issues d'une meme dynamique au point qu'il s'instaure entre les deux des rapports dialectiques. Dans le lessico, l'oeuvre litteraire est un element determinant de l'implication sociale; inversement, cette derniere inflechit l'ecriture de n. G. This research investigates the fabrication, modeling, characterization, and application of tungsten two-dimensional (2D) photonic crystal (PhC) structures as selective emitters and means of achieving higher efficiencies in thermophotovoltaic (TPV) energy conversion systems. Important aspects of the fabrication process are researched, developed, and rigorously characterized, focusing on dimensional reliability, precision, and repeatability of the processes. A major contribution in the form of tungsten reactive ion etch (RIE) characterization is provided with detailed parameters and second-order influences on etch rate, smoothness, and mask erosion. Optical characterization of our prototypes is found to be in excellent agreement with simulation, and has provided an experimental confirmation of selective emitter performance. We show that selective emitters can substantially increase spectral efficiency, providing as much as three times the radiative power density of planar tungsten. We include the first measurement of 96% combined efficiency of a selective emitter and a dielectric stack mirror for TPV system applications.

Abstract:

Este estudo parte de características das narrativas da escritora italiana Natalia Ginzburg (1916-1991) sublinhadas pela crítica especializada, como a abordagem de temas cotidianos, a presença de personagens embotados, a inexistência de atos melodramáticos e a ausência de grande tensão narrativa. O estilo da escritora é apresentado pela crítica como simples e direto, ocupando lugar secundário nas análises. Por isso, o objetivo central deste estudo é realizar uma análise estilística da obra de Natalia Ginzburg, destacando as técnicas narrativas empregadas. Para embasar esta abordagem discute-se o conceito de estilo simples proposto por Enrico Testa; os conceitos de sfondo, primo piano, ritmo narrativo, rilievo narrativo e tensão narrativa propostos por Harald Weinrich; e os conceitos de sumário narrativo e cena propostos por Norman Friedman. O estudo detalha a presença destas técnicas narrativas em dois romances de Natalia Ginzburg, Lessico famigliare e Le voci della sera, e as utiliza como principal forma de interpretação das narrativas da escritora.
This research starts with characteristics of Italian writer Natalia Ginzburg\'s (1916-1991) narratives highlighted by specialized critics, such as focus on everyday themes, the presence of blunted characters, lack of melodramatic acts, and the absence of narrative tension. The specialized critics presents the writer\'s style as simple and direct, holding a secondary position in the analyzes. Therefore, the central purpose of this research is to perform a stylistics analysis of Natalia Ginzburg\'s work, highlighting the narrative techniques adopted. To perform this approach the research discusses the concept of simple style by Enrico Testa; the concept of sfondo, primo piano, ritmo narrativo, rilievo narrativo and narrative tension proposed by Harald Weinrich; and the concept of summary narrative and scene proposed by Norman Friedman. The research details the presence of these narrative techniques in two novels, Lessico famigliare and Le voci della sera, and use them as main form of interpretation of the writers narratives.
