O trabalho teve como objetivo avaliar a influência da idade gestacional de matrizes suínas sobre a miogênese fetal e sobre o desempenho da matriz e da leitegada. Os experimentos foram realizados em uma granja comercial no município de Martinho Campos- MG e no Laboratório de Patologia Animal da Universidade Estadual de Londrina. Experimento 1 – Verificou-se a viabilidade do uso de leitões natimortos nos estudos de miogênese e do desenvolvimento de órgãos vitais. Para tanto, foram utilizadas leitegadas provenientes da genética Topigs x Danbred de 82 matrizes suínas entre 1ª à 7ª ordem de parto.

This thesis explores the difference between the vision of citizenship within education policy and the actual experiences and understandings of citizenship by Matric learners. Citizenship as envisioned in policy is shown to differ significantly to citizenship as understood and experienced by the interview participants. The citizenship envisioned in policy presents the goal of an equal and united citizenry whereas interview participants described citizenship as unequal and hierarchical.
