I examined the nest site selection of the Spanish Imperial Eagle Aquila adalberti population of the Donana National Park (SW Spain) from 1984 to 1994, in relation to the microhabitat and macrohabitat representing vegetative composition, degree of human influence and land use. The study included 75 active nest sites and 75 random sites. Univariate analyses and Generalized Linear Models were used. I studied the nest-site selection of the Acadian Flycatcher (Empidonax virescens) in the George Washington National Forest of southwestern Virginia from early May through July 1996 and 1997. Data were collected from nine 30 ha study plots. I measured habitat features at 37 Acadian Flycatcher nests and compared them to 30 nonuse sites randomly selected within the vegetation types associated with nests. The construction and analysis of financial statements for an accounting entity allows its stakeholders to assess its financial position and performance. This is the case for individuals, corporations and countries. Baydoun et al. (2015) proposed a simplified method in constructing an income statement, a balance sheet and cash flow statement. This study extends their work by modifying and applying their one sector model to estimate financial statements for New Zealand and assess its economic performance between 1970 and 2011.
