To najboljše pojasnjujejo številni zgodovinski, kulturni in politični dejavniki, od katerih je najbolj presenetljiva resnična odsotnost vojne že od leta 1864. Zaradi vedno večje vključenosti Danske v misije OZN in Nata od konca hladne vojne pa je pojem danskih »veteranov« ponovno oživel kot politični dejavnik in kot predmet proučevanja. Vlada je zato leta 2010 prvič v zgodovini sprejela državno veteransko politiko.

V delu smo izvedli analizo optimizacije procesa obdelave umetniškega lesenega izdelka (okvir ogledala) na 3-osnem CNC stroju. Iz grafične slike smo najprej v programu ArtCAM izdelali 3D model, triangulirali njegovo površino in ustvarili STL datoteko. To smo naložili v program SolidWorks, kjer smo z njegovim dodatkom SolidCAM določili parametre obdelave. Grobo obdelavo smo določili z operacijami HSR (high speed roughing), fino pa s HSM (high speed machining). This paper studies the hybrid application of carbon nanotubes (CNTs) and nano-SiO₂ sol in cement-based composites. Using water-bath ultrasonic dispersion technology, CNTs/SiO₂ composite fillers were prepared to enhance cement composites. The results show that carbon nanotubes (CNTs) can be uniformly dispersed in cement-based composites with nano-SiO₂ sol as the dispersion medium. When the contents of SiO₂ sol and CNTs are 1.50wt.% and 0.15wt.% respectively, the mechanical properties of cement-based composites are improved most significantly.

The influence of SnO2 on the chemical stability of sodium silicate glasses is investigated. The six glass compositions of ySnO2–37.9Na2O–(62.1-y)SiO2, y=1–8 mol.%, system were synthesized. Thermal behavior of the glasses was studied with the methods of dilatometry and DSC. It is shown that the hydrolytic resistance increases when growing the SnO2 concentration in the glass composition at constant Na2O content.

Članek začnemo s terminološko razpravo o globalizaciji in geografski marginalnosti. Nato predstavimo analizo, s katero želimo ugotoviti, ali nam demografski podatki na občinski ravni lahko razkrijejo marginalna območja (občine). Vse občine smo glede na njihovo centralnost razdelili v skupino pretežno centralnih in pretežno perifernih. Izračunali smo 5 demografskih kazalnikov in glede na povprečno vrednost opredelili občine, ki so bile bistveno drugačne (potencialno marginalne). Analiza kaže, da demografski kazalniki niso zanesljivi in niso primerno orodje za opredelitev marginalnih regij.
