Previous research has not specified the puzzling occurrence of the low prevalence of natural resource management (NRM) in intrastate peace- and ceasefire agreements. Three artificial wetlands at Wellard and Maramanup Pool located approximately 40 kms south of Perth, Western Australia, were compared on the basis of ecological data. This study evaluated the establishment of agricultural plantings on reservoir mudflats and the effectiveness of supplemental brush pile structures in providing recruitment habitat for juvenile fish.
