Full textNum mundo industrial cada vez mais competitivo, onde a produção de bens de consumo é constante e o seu ritmo de produção aumenta diariamente, não se aceita nada mais que a pura “perfeição”. É cada vez exigida mais e melhor “performance” do factor humano (representando uma peça fundamental para o funcionamento das industrias) e, os índices de produtividade e de qualidade exigem do trabalhador melhores ritmos de trabalho para que os sistemas automatizados e/ou robotizados tenham um desempenho cada vez mais eficiente. O problema está numa economia de mercado onde a alta produção aliada à qualidade é factor determinante para a sobrevivência da indústria. Devido a esta crescente pressão sobre o factor humano, a indústria tem recorrido à ciência para optimizar este factor, pois é reconhecido que o bemestar de um trabalhador pode condicionar o produto final de uma empresa industrial. Esta investigação é uma contribuição que pretende mostrar que é possível conhecer, numa indústria de grande dimensão, valores de conforto / desconforto em locais onde estão localizados postos de trabalho. São apresentados alguns estudos de caso em diferentes dias e são consideradas as zonas de maior vulnerabilidade. Os resultados obtidos foram valorizados através da aplicação de diferentes índices térmicos de aplicação fácil e através das orientações traçadas pelas ISO 7726/1984, 7730/2005 e ANSI/ASHRAE 55/2004. Também se realizou, num local diferente, um estudo em que se aplicou um balanço energético ao ser humano e valorizou-se valores publicados na literatura da especialidade. Os resultados obtidos mostraram que a metodologia usada é correcta e contribuíram para um melhor conhecimento dos padrões que afectam uma nave industrial e, suscitaram estratégias de intervenção para a melhoria do espaço onde trabalhadores estão presentes.
In an industrial world increasingly competitive where the production of consumption goods is constant and the pace of production increases every day and where cannot be accepted nothing more than sheer “perfection”. It’s increasingly demanded more and better “performance” from the human factor (represents a key factor to the industries function) and the indexes of productivity and quality require from the worker better work rates so that the automated systems and / or robotic systems can have an increasing performance. The problem lies in a market economy where high production is based on quality factor for the survival of the industry. Due to this increasing pressure on the human factor the industry has used science to optimize this factor, because it’s recognized that the welfare of a worker may condition the industry end product. This research is a contribution that aims to evaluate, in a large dimension industry, values of comfort / discomfort in places where jobs are located. There are presented some case studies on different days and are considered the most vulnerable areas. The results were valued through the application of different thermal indices of easy application and through the guidelines of ISO 7726/1984, 7730/2005 and ANSI/ASHRAE 55/2004. It was made also, in a different place, a study in which an energy balance was applied to the human being, and values published in the literature of the specialty were taken into consideration. The results show that the methodology was correct and contributed to a better understanding of the patterns that affect an industrial building and sparked intervention strategies to improve the area where workers are present.

Full textThe present research project is entitled "Evaluation of the seismic performance of a mining steel building according to ATC-40" and has the purpose of determining the seismic performance of a mining building defined in the technical report ATC-40. The application of a static nonlinear analysis to the computational model of an existing structure can determine the level of damage and the expected seismic performance. Accordingly, the nonlinear static analysis was successfully applied to the model of an existing structure using SAP2000 software, and through data and graphics provided by the program, the level of damage in the industrial building subjected to great seismic actions was determined. This thesis is divided into seven chapters: the first chapter cover the introduction and the importance of the thesis. The second chapter include the generalities, general objectives and specific objectives of the thesis project; the third reviews the Pushover analysis theoretical framework; the fourth shows the linear and nonlinear static analyses; the fifth includes the design by the LRFD method and its validation; the sixth presents the criteria of seismic performance using the ATC-40 method; the seventh shows the analysis of results; the eighth shows the conclusions and recommendations. From the presented analysis, it is concluded that it was possible to achieve the level of performance desired ensuring continuous ore production, and with this, it can be guaranteed that the structure will have an acceptable behavior for the 3 levels of seismic hazard and that the ore production will not be affected.

Full textIndustrial growth in the country is increasing, which generates an increase in the need for new industrial structures. The following thesis has as main objective to represent a guide, through an application example, of analysis and structural design of an industrial building with travelling crane, because Peru doesn´t have exclusive guidelines for this type of structures. A theoretical compilation is presented covering the guidelines for the analysis and structural design of industrial buildings, considering the effects generated by a traveling crane on the structure, and then establishing a clear and concise methodology. It proposes a theoretical project of an industrial building covering an area of 600 m2, whose use will be Warehouse and has a crane bridge of 10 tons of capacity, with the aim of developing the established methodology. The methodology, which includes the analysis and structural design of industrial buildings with Crane bridges, meets the requirements of the regulations: National Building Regulations (RNE), American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) and the American Concrete Institute (ACI).

Full textThe presence of travelling cranes in industrial buildings means an additional effort for the structure of the ship due to the additional loads. Thus, a specific and complete analysis is required, both static and dynamic, to design a structure resistant to the efforts generated by the load coming from the travelling crane. The objective of this article is to elaborate a document that serves as a guide for a correct analysis and design of the beam that supports the travelling crane, known as the rail beam; from the comparison of regulations of some Latin American countries and the North American norms. This analysis includes the set of efforts generated by the operation of a bridge crane. Finally, the proposal or method will be validated with an example of a crane lifting capacity of up to 10 tons.

Full textThis thesis presents the analysis of an industrial steel warehouse, located in the Lurín Industrial Complex in the city of Lima; in which several types of open web beam were proposed, such as: Howe, Pratt, K-beam, rhombus beam, Warren with studs and Warren, subjected to the loads present in the area. Chapter 1 presents the formulation of the problem, objectives and hypotheses to validate the research. Chapter 2 contains the theoretical framework necessary for the development of this research, in order to obtain the deflections, drifts, axial forces and weights per area or ratios, to compare them and identify which of the reinforcements works better and consumes less material. In chapter 3 the methodology to achieve the proposed objectives is presented, which consists of: predimensioning, the acting loads were identified, the load combinations, each reinforcement was evaluated, with the SAP 2000 Software, with which the load envelope was obtained; With the live load, the displacements were found and with the earthquake load, the drifts for each analyzed model. In Chapter 4, the results of the analysis were presented, the service limits and ultimate resistance of the elements used in each model were compared and from this it was defined which structure is optimal in relation to the other beams analyzed, considering national and international regulations ; the plans of the analyzed reinforcements were also prepared and the recommendations are finally presented.

Full textDesarrolla el diseño del drenaje pluvial para la cubierta de la nave industrial del Proyecto Agroforestal de Pijuayo ubicado en el distrito de Caynarachi provincia de Lamas departamento de San Martin, considerando aspectos importantes como las características de la precipitación pluvial, el flujo superficial del agua precipitada y el comportamiento hidráulico en bajadas pluviales. El constante desarrollo económico en Perú, ha permitido que la industria nacional tenga la necesidad imperiosa de tener mayor infraestructura, en muchos casos con el surgimiento de nuevas industrias y en otros en donde requiera de ampliaciones de sus naves industriales del tipo almacén, producción diversa, agro exportación, industria siderúrgica, cementera, minera y demás. Esta infraestructura de tipo nave industrial con cubiertas inclinadas se ven directamente afectadas por las precipitaciones pluviales, por tanto, es necesario e imperioso contar con un drenaje pluvial para poder evacuarlas y así evitar cuantiosos gastos por desbordamiento e inundación. Es común solo considerar como parámetro principal el tamaño o área de una cubierta industrial para estimar un sistema de drenaje pluvial el cual resulta insuficiente para un correcto diseño, ya que las precipitaciones pluviales es otro parámetro necesario de considerar debido a que el Perú cuenta con una diversidad en el comportamiento de las precipitaciones pluviales, por tanto no será lo mismo un sistema de drenaje pluvial para una cubierta industrial que se ubique en la costa que una que se ubique en la sierra o selva.
