Maintaining forage availability is challenging for managers of grazing systems, especially in spatially heterogeneous swards. Remote sensing may help to overcome this problem. The objectives of this study were to (i) determine a method by which NDVI may be calibrated to estimate biomass, (ii) determine if NDVI can be used to assess spatial variability of yield in extensive grasslands, and (iii) to determine if NDVI can be used to evaluate grazing systems. Detta arbete utvärderar ett kamerasystem som kan ta bilder för analys av växters välmående. Kamerasystemet bygger på en Raspberry pi model 3 b+, en PInoIR kamera modul v2 och ett blått filter. Kameran kan övervaka växter genom att den inte har något infrarött filter. Då kan matematiska uträkningar utföras på allt kamerans sensorer kan ta in. There has been rapid change in the landcover/landuse in the Mekong delta, Viet Nam. The landcover/landuse has changed very fast due to intense population pressure, agriculture/aquaculture farming and timber collection in the coastal areas of the delta. The changing landuse pattern in the coastal areas of the delta is threatened to be flooded by sea level rise; sea level is expected to rise 33 cm until 2050; 45 cm until 2070 and 1 m until 2100. This paper studies the effects of long-term climate change on the dynamics of violent conflict in the Kenyan crisis of 2007-2008. Climate change has been found to worsen livelihood conditions in East Africa, leading to a higher competition for resources and increased intergroup tensions. This, in turn, leads to a higher risk for violent conflict. The findings indicate that geographical areas that were more severely affected by the effects of long-term climate change were more likely to experience eruptions of violence during the 2007-2008 conflict. Boron (B) is widely deficient, and is more prone to leeching in sandy soils. Applied B has difficulty reaching growing points as B has reduced phloem mobility in peanuts.
