Abstract:
Double-chambered right ventricle (DCRV) is an extremely rare condition caused by anomalous muscular bundle (AMB), dividing the RV into high- and low-pressure chambers. We are highlighting a case series of three rare patients of DCRV, presenting with diverse clinical and echocardiographic features. Case 1 is manifesting as isolated DCRV in an asymptomatic young female adult, with the AMB located in the subvalvular region of the right ventricular outflow tract. Case 2 is of a significantly symptomatic male infant, afflicted with DCRV, and associated with a large apical muscular ventricular septa

Abstract:
This paper is concerned with the dynamics of large bubbles subject to various strengths of buoyancy effects, which are associated with applications for underwater explosion. The bubble is produced by electric discharge in a low-pressure tank to enhance the buoyancy effects. Experiments are carried out for a bubble in an infinite field, below a free surface and above a rigid boundary. The effects of buoyancy are reflected by the dimensionless parameter ${\it\delta}=\sqrt{{\it\rho}gR_{m}/(p_{amb}-p_{v})}$, where $R_{m}$, $p_{amb}$, $p_{v}$, ${\it\rho}$ and $g$ are the maximum bubble radius, ambi

Abstract The aim of the study was to analyze the effect of polymorphic variants previously associated with arterial hypertension (AH) in Genome Wide Association Studies (GWASs) in/next to genes and locuses CYP7A1 and PLEKHA7 on the development of coronary artery disease (CAD) in Bulgarian patients. A hundred and nine consecutive patients with angiographically documented CAD were studied. The genotyping was done with 7900 HT Fast Real-Time PCR (Applied Biosystems) with TaqMan® method. The control group consisted of 192 healthy population controls, selected from the bio- bank of the Molecular Me

Abstract:
An analytical review of the evolution of attempts to create, schematic and constructive solutions for energycooled nuclear reactors with nuclear steam overheating and supercritical parameters of the working fluid in the conditions of the former USSR and the Russian Federation was made. A comparison of a number of major technical and economic characteristics of main developments of tube and tank reactors is made, the available information on the results of experimental and industrial operation of AMB reactors structures is considered, their advantages and disadvantages are evaluated in terms of

Abstract:
This Thesis work deals with the growth and characterization of model nanostructured surface systems in ultra-high vacuum environment (UHV, <10−9 mbar) and with their evolution at near ambient pressure (NAP, 0.1 - 100 mbar) conditions. The investigations are performed with the aid of specific in situ techniques (IR-Vis SFG, NAP-XPS, etc.) in order to probe the structural, electronic, chemical and catalytic properties of the models. The latter span from ordered lattices of metal nanoparticles to 2D metallorganic crystals, where stabilized mono-metallic centers act as the active cores. These syst
