Cette étude vise à vérifier la relation entre la prématurité et les habiletés d'attention à l'âge scolaire. Quarante-trois enfants prématurés et 31 enfants nés à terme âgés de huit et neuf ans sont évalués à l'aide d'un questionnaire comportemental (CPRS-R) et d'un test neuropsychologique (NEPSY) de l'attention. Les associations entre ces deux mesures sont faibles. Aussi, les résultats montrent que, selon l'évaluation faite par les parents, les enfants prématurés n'affichent pas plus de comportements inattentifs et/ou hyperactifs que les enfants témoins.
