Abstract:
This paper provides a selective review of the emerging research field of net-based knowledge communication in groups. The review is conceptualized around three problems that designers of net-based knowledge communication will face (cluttering of content, lack of interpersonal information, and lack of sequential structure), and provides examples of how the corresponding barriers can be overcome. It is discussed how scenarios of net-based knowledge communication can even surpass the levels of face-to-face communication if the design relies on strengths of computer technologies (permanent storage, representational flexibility, and computational power), and if the communication among participants is complemented and augmented by meaningful interactions with computer tools.

Abstract:
Electronic mail and electronic communications systems are considered significant and effective tools of communication. One of the most widespread electronic communication tools is e - mail communication. In order to avoid misinterpretation of the report on the side of the recipient, it is need to pay attention to the writing of e - mail messages as well as to their content. With the continuous expansion of the use of electronic communication there have gradually developed certain rules of etiquette in electronic communications. The existing rules of the propriety ones are expressed in the term " etiqutte " and are not automatically applied in the new communications environment - media. For electronic communication, the new rules of etiquette have been stabilised into a term NETIQUETTE. The word netiquette was created by combining words NET (net) and ETIKETA (a set of rules of social behavior and habits). Netiquette constitutes the rules of the behavior of users on a network. Although the netiquette is merely "an unwritten set of rules", their not using can be understood as a type of disrespect. Analysis of knowledge of domestic and foreign sources as well as results of a survey confirmed the justification of paying attention to the education of individuals in NETIQUETTE, irrespective of the degree of education.

Abstract:
We examined the effects of ultraviolet radiation (UVR) on net phosphorus (P) flux into phytoplankton communities in two boreal lakes at the Experimental Lakes Area (ELA), Canada. We manipulated P available to and irradiance received by phytoplankton during four different three-day incubations of dilution bioassays. Net P flux was estimated by measuring the accumulation of particulate P (that retained on glass fiber filters) over the incubation period. No effects of UVR on net P flux were found at ambient P levels in any of the experiments. At the highest levels of P addition, less particulate phosphorus (PP) accumulated in both the minus-UVB (~15–40%; photosynthetically active radiation (PAR) + UVA) and full-sunlight (~25–45%; PAR + UVA + UVB) exposed phytoplankton compared with those that received PAR only. Neither chlorophyll- nor carbon-specific net P flux was affected by UVR exposure at ambient P levels. However, at the highest levels of P enrichment, chlorophyll-specific net P flux increased in response to UVR in both lakes, whereas carbon-specific net P flux declined in one of the lakes and was unaffected by UV exposure in the second lake. Our results indicate that UVR can affect total PP accumulation in enriched systems, but not at ambient P levels, and that UVR has a weak and variable effect on biomass-specific P uptake in phytoplankton under enriched conditions.

Abstract:
The use of Internet services that facilitate the textual type communication implies the privation of all those elements that constitute the non verbal communication of a face to face interaction. To replace this absence in the communication, a new language has arisen in the Net formed by small figures denominated “smileys”. These express the psychic and emotional state of communicants.

NET Remoting is a way of communication between the processes in .NET frameworks. It can be used for communication between different applications based on CLR on different computers on the network, it can also be used for communication between different applications based on CLR on the same computer. Firstly, the working principles of .NET Remoting are discussed. Secondly, a basic structure model for file transfer system based on .NET Remoting is proposed. Finally, gives the implementation of a file transfer and management system using .NET Remoting and SQL Server, which is safe, efficient and practical

A study was conducted comparing reviews appearing in a print journal with similar reviews published by an H-Net network. The study also examines the academic status of the authors of electronic reviews and compares this to the authors of print reviews. Drawing on findings from the study, as well as interactions with faculty and scholars using the H-Net resource, it is concluded that there are some significant differences between print reviews and e-reviews.

Abstract:
This article considers the debate on ‘network neutrality’, and the idea that the internet should carry all internet traffic equally without prioritising different kinds of traffic or discriminating among types of content. It considers contemporary developments in the internet and its business models, and urges caution about adopting simplistic solutions in the name of saving the public internet. Instead, the author suggests that there is a need to clarify the public benefits of network access, and to develop mechanisms to support these.

Abstract:
Patients continue to find new ways of reaching their physicians. In the past, patients and their health care providers developed relationships through the course of everyday affairs and across a wide variety of social exchanges. Although other methods of communicating were introduced into the medical context, telephones, pagers and voicemail all retained some connection to individual voices. Moreover, medical practitioners and patients alike never anticipated that these technologies would substitute for genuine personal interactions. Nor did they anticipate that another new technology, electronic mail (e-mail), would shift communications back in time to the days when letter writing formed the basis for diagnosing and relating. E-mail in medical practice has already begun to reconfigure the patient-physician relationship in the electronic age.
