Thermodynamic analysis of the high-toxic substances (hydrazine, dimethylhydrazine and dinitrogen tetroxide) thermal decomposition process contained in liquid mixtures in different concentrations was carried out. Calculations of equilibrium compositions were carried out in a wide temperature range for a steam-water plasmatron. The aim of the study was finding the operational parameter’s optimal range of values ensuring the complete decomposition of primary high-toxic components provided secondary harmful substances minimal formation and obtaining acceptance level of specific energy consumption.

This project aims to explore innovative solutions for managing hazardous industrial waste, focusing on minimizing environmental impact and safeguarding workers and surrounding communities. The study begins with a review of current industrial waste management practices, highlighting challenges

The botulinum neurotoxins (BoNTs) produced by Clostridium botulinum are the most poisonous protein substances known. The neutralizing antibodies against botulinum neurotoxin can effectively prevent and cure the toxicosis. Using purified Hc fragments of botulinum neurotoxin serotype A (BoNT/A-Hc) as antigen, 2 specific neutralizing antibodies mapping different epitopes were selected from a fully synthetic human antibody library. The 2 antibodies can effectively inhibit the binding between BoNT/A-Hc and differentiated PC-12 cells in vitro, and the neutralization was evaluated in vivo. Although n

Biogen elements that enter the water in large quantities are one of the main pollutants in the aquatic environment. They lead both to eutrophication of the reservoir and a decrease in the viability of young fish, acting as toxin. The energy enzyme activity (lactate dehydrogenase and succinate dehydrogenase), nitrogen (glutamate dehydrogenase) metabolism, dephosphorylation processes, and immune protection (by alkaline phosphatase activity) under the long-term action of ammonium nitrogen and phosphorus phosphates was studied. As a result of the joint processing of the mentioned waste waters in sewage treatment plants, the specific sediments containing compounds of heavy metals and toxic substances are formed. The data on metal content in a solid phase of mixed sediments of different metallurgical enterprises is presented. It is noted that

Botulinum neurotoxins (BoNTs) are the most poisonous substances in nature. Currently, the only therapy for botulism is antitoxin. This therapy suffers from several limitations and hence new therapeutic strategies are desired. One of the limitations in discovering BoNT inhibitors is the absence of an in vitro assay that correlates with toxin neutralization in vivo. In this work, a high-throughput screening assay for receptor-binding inhibitors against BoNT/A was developed. The assay is composed of two chimeric proteins: a receptor-simulating protein, consisting of the fourth luminal loop of syn
