Abstract:
Liberia, Africa's oldest democracy, has made several efforts in becoming a developed economy and ending poverty, but these efforts have been hampered by lack of appropriate financing mechanisms to achieve this goal. The most recent challenge which was the purpose of this study was to understand how Liberia can finance and achieve the sustainable development goals adopted by the United Nations in September 2015. Despite substantial external aid, Liberia was only able to meet 3 out of the 8 Millennium Development Goals, and more than 60% of the population remain extremely poor. The main research

Is there a general moral duty to obey the law because it is the law? This is the question of political obligation. Abstract:

The subject of this study concerns the references to religion and religious culture in the new Statutes of the Italian Regions, enacted after the reforms approved by the constitutional law No. 1 of 1999, which introduced the direct election of the President of the Region, and No. 3 of 2001, which instead managed the relationship between state and Regions as part of an overall reform of Title V of the Italian Constitution. The first chapter is devoted to the study and analysis of the new rules, of which the historical, political and cultural background is reconstructed, taking into considerati

Abstract:
The OE is a working holiday phenomenon in New Zealand that shapes the life experiences of many young adults. "Should I stay or should I go?" critically engages with this social phenomenon by approaching it as simultaneously an opportunity for freedom and choice and a field of rules, regulations, and constraints. The analysis of the OE offered in this thesis draws on Foucauldian understandings of power and discourse and, more particularly, Nikolas Rose's approach to governance through freedom and the constitution of subjects in advanced liberal democracies. By using these theoretical resources,

Abstract:
This research investigated the teacher beliefs and the important aspects of value education in relation to the New Senior Secondary Liberal Studies (NSS LS) curriculum in Hong Kong. The NSS LS curriculum was first introduced to schools in the academic year 20092010. It emphasises the cultivation of knowledge, skills, and attitudes. Therefore, it is suggested that value education should be an important element in this new core senior secondary curriculum. The focus of this study is to explore the beliefs which are held by the NSS LS teachers in value education and to identify the important as
