Abstract:
A checklist of Cerambycidae from three Brazilian localities of the Chapada Diamantina mountain range (Catolés, Piatã and Mucugê) is provided. These three localities are considered of great biological importance. A total of 38 species were collected, belonging to 29 genera, 18 tribes and two subfamilies. Ten new records for the state of Bahia are presented, and a new species, Desmiphora (Desmiphora) iwasarai (Desmiphorini, Lamiinae), is described and illustrated.

Abstract:
Caliaeschna microstigma is a species distributed mainly in the eastern Mediterranean, from Croatia in the west to northern Iran and Caucasus in the east. Until this study, it was reported only from a few localities in Serbia, which are located in far south. Here we have summarized all available data and presented new data on the distribution of C. microstigma in Serbia. The Eastern Spectre was detected at seven new localities (four during field study and three from publicly available databases), extending its current range in Serbia by more than 120 km to the north.

Abstract:
Two new localities of Mesozoic mammals have been discovered: Bol’shoi Ilek and Berezovaya River (Russia, Krasnoyarsk Territory, Lower Cretaceous, Ilek Formation). Bol’shoi Ilek locality yields an edentulous fragment of the maxillary of Docodonta indet. A fragment of dentary without teeth attributed to Mammalia indet. (presumably eutriconodontan or symmetrodontan) is presented in the Berezovaya River locality. New localities fill the geographical gap between previously known mammalian localities of Ilek Formation in the basins of Kiya and Bol’shoi Kemchug rivers.

The densities of the abalone Haliotis rubra and the sea urchin Centrostephanus rodgersii were estimated at five localities on the southern coast of New South Wales. Abalone were most abundant at localities south of Eden but were patchy at all localities and sites. There was no clear pattern in the abundance of C. rodgersii among localities but there was considerable variation among sites within localities. Densities of abalone and sea urchins were negatively associated within 10-m2 transects at 20% of sites. At the smallest nearest-neighbour scale, the two species were segregated. The populati
