Abstract:
This conversation by social philosopher Theodor Adorno, a representative of the critical theory of society, with Hellmut Becker, a political publicist and theorist of education, took place in 1966 and was published in the collection of Theodor Adorno`s philosophical and educational works Upbringing to responsibility. By this conversation Adorno and Becker critically examined the many aspects of the then West German education, which they believed did not fulfill their main task – it did not encourage the representatives of West German youth to become socially active people. According to Adorno and Becker, then education did not upbringing them as members of a democratic society, as people who must independently apply their own minds in a society whose democratic changes must be completely unchanged. Reflecting on the goal of proper education, these German intellectuals have defined the essence of democracy as the embodiment of such political governance, which requires the active use of intelligence by any member of society. Thus, the consciousness of an individual, activated by the educational effect of education on himself, education, which understands the correct purpose of its work, can withstand the influence on itself of the social ideology of a conformist society, the reality of which has distinct signs of cultural stagnation. Adorno and Becker agreed to call such man as responsibility man. However, in their opinion, education that holds on the traditional principles of upbringing leads to the formation of such a rational adaptation of man to the social world, which only increases the extent of its conformism. They also called the consequence of the influence of this social ideology on the human consciousness of her inability to hold on to the experience has gained in the society that makes a person a thing. Therefore, these German intellectuals drew attention to the phenomenon of primary and preschool education of the child, also noted the peculiarities of the period of puberty, suggesting that they be understood as possible factors for the successful overcoming of traditional upbringing. According to Adorno and Becker, by making to updated upbringing, the new education must effectively apply in its process the spontaneity of personal thinking of man. At the same time this unity of education and education effectively enabling the process of individualization of a man and will destroy the ideological tendency to preserve the principle of anti-individualism in the upbringing. This will happen due to the active participation of the new individuum, a person who is able to consciously resist any ideological influences on the collective consciousness of society.

Abstract:
The article deals with the problems of implementing the ideas of patriotic upbringing. The author analyzes the implementation of the tasks of patriotic upbringing in the conditions of “new normality” in 2020. It is emphasized that in the situation of accelerated transition to distance learning and the use of online platforms, upbringing issues were not among the priorities, which revealed a contradiction between the tasks that Russian education sets for itself and practice. The article identifies three types of educational tasks: the tasks of forming educational content; tasks of involving children and young people in active intellectual, creative, socially active patriotic activities; tasks of preparing parents and teachers to implement the ideas of patriotic upbringing. It is considered how these tasks are implemented in projects of patriotic orientation. As an example, the regional patriotic project implemented in the Sverdlovsk region is considered. The conclusion is made about the prospects of patriotic upbringing in modern conditions.

Abstract:
The author of the article analyzes the problem of logical and philosophical boundaries of the concept of «education». This topic is urgent and requires a philosophical explication. It has a connection with the problem of the correlation of concepts: «education», «teaching» («learning»), «upbringing». The author systematizes the main variants of this relationship. As a result, the author suggests three main schemes. The first scheme has one component. Consequently, the concepts of «education», «teaching», «upbringing» are identical. This scheme has several options. The first option has such characteristics: education and teaching are identical, knowledge and mental development take precedence, the upbringing plays a minor role. The main characteristics of the second option: upbringing is a pedagogical concept that forms a system. Upbringing has a wide (social) significance. The first scheme (for example) is «upbringing teaching», modern higher learning, upbringing of a «new» person in the USSR. The second scheme contains two components. The concepts of «education», «training», «upbringing» are not identical. Training and upbringing are interrelated, but they are not identical. The concept of teaching has a connection with modeling, schematization and the creation of learning situations. Learning has a connection with intellectual development and a semiotic basis. The concept of upbringing has a connection with the immediate experience of the situation. Upbringing has a connection with moral qualities and an axiological basis. Teaching solves the problem of preparing children for life. Upbringing solves the problem of including children in life. Consequently, education has two subsystems: teaching (learning) and upbringing. The first and second schemes are common. The third scheme is new. It consists of three components. The concept of education includes three concepts: «teaching», «upbringing» and «development». This scheme may be of interest to researchers, but it needs to be refined (logical and terminological aspects).

Abstract:
The author analyzes numerous scientific foreign and domestic publications and emphasizes that many aspects of Soviet upbringing go back to such prominent authors as K. Marx and V. I. Lenin. It was their views that became the fundamental guidelines for the new moral attitudes in the Soviet society. Essential forces of man are released only when contradictions between external circumstances and the creative nature of man have to be resolved. Marx believed that people are the products of circumstances and upbringing, and that an individual cannot be regarded as a blind and passive force: it is people who change circumstances and upbringing. Most authors believe that the Communist Party played a key role in the Soviet upbringing due to its total control and filtering of unnecessary information. In the 1970s–1980s, the USSR acquired great practical experience in this sphere. A thorough multilateral analysis of foreign literature revealed that foreign scientists displayed a great interest in the strong spirit of Soviet people, as well as in those new complex system-pedagogical trends that were implemented in the 1970-s in the USSR. Soviet scientists distinguished more than 160 features that a person should have, i.e. diligence, respect for the elderly, aesthetic taste, physical perfection, etc.

Abstract:
Abstract Is it necessary and worth reflecting on the choice of a model of education and upbringing in contemporary Polish system of education? What ought to be done to make school not only the transmission of knowledge but also the introduction to the world of values? The current model can be characterised with the decomposition of a teacher’s role by the introduction of excessive pseudo-subjectivity of a student, and as a consequence getting rid of the “missionary” character of teaching profession, fulfilling the task of raising a conscious citizen and patriot, able to acquire knowledge necessary for finding one`s place in the constantly changing world. The alternative for the current Polish model of education ought to be sought in the upbringing of an individual in personalised spirit, at the same time expressing the need for shaping its character within the culture of Latin civilisation. Thus, it will enable a young individual to overtake the control over his own process of development. Such an activity ought to become the foundation of the new model of upbringing in Polish schools.

Abstract:
In the last decade of the XXth century, Russian employers began to experience difficulties with the selection of qualified personnel. The current situation was due to a structural imbalance between the supply and demand of labor and a general decline in the level of skilled personnel employed in industry. Over the years of reforms associated with the transition to market relations, the Russian industry has lost a significant number of production personnel, including people with the highest qualifications. The acute shortage, and sometimes the staff shortage, which many enterprises of the country are experiencing today are mainly of a structural nature, since the country uses technologies of different technological modes, and resource constraints on economic development from the supply of labor and its quality generations are poorly counted. According to various estimates, from 40 to 60 % of graduates of educational institutions do not work in their specialty and do not stay in the first place of work for a long period. Most leave after six months or a year. But the economy is changing rapidly. It is becoming innovative, high-tech and digital. The noted processes lead to the growth of the importance of the human factor and increase the requirements for people who enter the economy and must move it forward. For this, among other conditions, it is necessary to advance training of young personnel in the framework of newly emerging professions and even to «run ahead» somewhat in this matter. Since one of the main problems of Russian professional education today is the quality of training of specialists and qualified personnel, mastering a set of skills, characteristic of newly emerging professions and industries. The main trends against which the formation of today’s 6–14-year-old generation will take place are the subject of this article. The fourth industrial revolution is closely related to the latest technological advances – digitalization, robotization, the creation of artificial intelligence, etc., which in the short term will lead to the following: - about half of all existing professions will die out in the next decade; a huge mass of people will be without work, as the world will enter an era of high technological unemployment; the rate of technological change will be so high that workers physically do not keep up with retraining for new specialties, continuously replenishing the army of the unemployed. As a result of these transformations, not only the level, but also the structure of labor demand is changing – some professions become obsolete, others are replenished. J. Schumpeter said that the process of industrial mutation continuously reconstructs the economic structure from the inside, destroying the old and creating a new one.

The purpose of this study is to build a scale of upbringing to evaluate foster families in New Taipei City. The scale is based on the secure model including five indexes: confidence, self-esteem, empathy, autonomy and interaction. When the reliabilities were examined, all values of Cronbach are above 0.7. There were 100 families participated in this survey. After collecting questionnaires, the researchers processed data analyses. Statistical methods employed descriptive statics, reliability analysis, independent t test, and one-way ANOVA. The results showed that there was no significant difference in upbringing among foster parents, family status, education, and income. However, the occupation of foster parents significantly affected the upbringing styles in empathy and interaction. According to the results, we suggested that secure base model could provide some benefits to foster parents and children; therefore, the training program would be helpful to improve the quality of foster care.

Taiwan has promoted parent.child reading for many years, especially among pre.school parents. With the interaction of pre.school institutions and parents, the age group of parent.child reading is getting lower and lower, but in the process of heaping, is there any real implementation? How do different family backgrounds have different effects and status quo on whether parent.child reading and parenting attitudes are different? What is the relevance of parenting attitude to parent.child reading? This study aims to explore the pre.school parenting attitudes. The study of parent.child co.reading takes New North City as an example. It mainly uses two research methods, namely, "Document Analysis Method" and "Questionnaire Method". This study issued questionnaires for preschool nursery centers and kindergarten parents in New Taipei City. There were 1,776 valid questionnaires and 1,548 valid samples, and the effective sample recovery rate was 60%. Therefore, the number of samples submitted for this test was 1,424. . The sample recovery rate can reach more than 87.16%, and the statistical analysis of statistical data, independent sample t.test and single.factor variance analysis and regression analysis are used. The conclusion of this study found that: First, parents' parenting attitude and parent.child co.reading have relevant influences. The "democratic" parenting attitude is the most significant for children to read in parent.child relationship. The parental parenting attitude is very important for the goal of parent.child reading. The main caregiver's personnel, age, education level, occupational category, average income, current number of children to be raised, the number of women enrolled in this institution, the age of the child, the institution of study, the period of co.reading together, the number of readings a week, and the total number of co.readers Reading time, who chooses books, the annual budget for purchasing pictures, and how many picture books in the family are under different background changes, the goals for parent.child reading are the same. Although different background variables, it is obvious that parents pay attention to parent.child Reading, it is also found that the higher the learning experience, the more parents pay attention to the parent.child reading, and will begin to pay attention to the pro.reading and understanding of the importance before the school age. Parental parenting attitudes to the parent.child reading equation show that "democracy" and "autocracy" can significantly predict parent.child reading, the highest of which is "democracy." From this study, we can understand that democratic education affects parent.child co.reading. It is the most important thing for parents and institutions to learn about the importance of parent.child reading through parent.child reading activities and parenting lectures. Increased knowledge and interaction between parents and children.

Research on the Experience and Satisfaction of Resources for Education and Upbringing for the Children of New Immigrant Mothers in Taichung County Abstract In recent years, changing along with the times, interracial marriage has become a common phenomenon. Providing adequate resources for immigrant women will help solve the difficulties immigrant women face in raising and educating children. The increase in resources available will in turn improve health and satisfy the basic household needs of immigrant women, as well as allow them to adapt to their new living environment. This gives the “new generation of Taiwanese children” an equal footing as native Taiwanese children in education and welfare, allowing them to grow up healthily and happily as a crucial part of the new generation in the Taiwanese society. As of the end of June 2010, immigrant women living in Taichung County totaled 25,990 people, a number which ranked 5th on the national scale. The research data was collected through the use of purposive sampling and quantification. The data analyzed was obtained through various government agencies and institutions including the Taizhong branch office of the Immigration Agency, foreign family service center in the greater Taizhong area, foreign family counseling and service centers, as well as individual cases in Taizhong. A total of 424 surveys were distributed, with 177 copies of the survey considered valid and thus used in the data analysis. The effective survey response rate was 41.74%. Immigrant spouses consider the problems with the current child education and welfare situation to be moderate, and less than half of the immigrant spouses surveyed experience difficulty with more than 60% of the problems listed in the research. Factors including nationality, foreign status, work status, age, years spent in Taiwan, and income yielded distinct differences and opinions regarding the aforementioned problems. 2.) Immigrant spouses prefer resources that directly relate to the children’s welfare and development. Factors including nationality, foreign status, work status, health condition, age, place of residence and degree of education yielded distinct differences regarding the use of available resources for children’s education. 3.) Most Immigrant spouses are willing to pay for resource beneficial to child welfare and development if the resource expenses are partially covered. Factors including nationality, foreign status, work status, age, place of residence and degree of education yielded distinct differences regarding the use of available resources for children’s education. 4.) There is a higher degree of approval in the reliability of information and services for immigrant spouses. Factors including foreign status, marriage status, age, place of residence, and years spent in Taiwan contribute to the distinct differences in the resources and services provided for children of foreign spouses. 5.) Children’s welfare resource use and availability earned high approval ratings from foreign spouses. Factors including nationality, foreign status, work status, marriage status, health status, age, place of residence, and degree of education yielded apparent differences in the satisfactory ratings of resources available to foreign spouses for children’s welfare and development. 6.) High approval ratings are given to social services which provide reliable information and prompt responses to inquiries. Factors including foreign status, marriage status, age, and place of residence yielded apparent differences in the satisfactory ratings of resources available to foreign spouses for children’s welfare and development. 7.) Overall, foreign spouses expressed satisfaction regarding the attitude and manners of service representatives. Factors including nationality, foreign status, marriage status, and place of residence yielded apparent differences in the satisfactory ratings of resources available to foreign spouses for children’s welfare and development. 8.) Experiences with the usage of available resources for children’s welfare are positively correlated to the satisfactory ratings of social services. Using data obtained from the research, suggestions have been drawn for government agencies, organizations providing social services, and other researchers in hopes that the suggestions will help improve the service quality and increase the resources available for immigrant spouses and their family. The suggestions are listed below: 1.) Suggestions for government agencies A. Domestic policies should focus on immigration and social welfare. i. The Immigration Agency should focus on integrating resources to aid immigrants in Taiwan with difficulties in their daily lives. ii. Government agencies should establish more immigrant service centers as well as improve communication with immigrants. B. Health policies should focus on promoting health care and establishing service centers in communities. C. Education policies should focus on policy development and schools. i. Policy development should aim to let immigrants adjust to their new environment, conserve cultural diversity. An example would be to establish afterschool classes for children of immigrants or to subsidize the cost for cram school. ii. Separate students into classes according to their proficiency in different subjects in order to ensure they can keep up with the classes in school. 2.) Suggestions for social service organizations A. Immigrant counseling centers, service centers, and social organizations i. The service provided should be centered on families. ii. Develop diverse and innovative plans. iii. Expand the programs and services available. B. Social workers i. Dedicate themselves to the services they provide, as well as increase professional knowledge. ii. Respect the individuals seeking aid and set their interests as the main priority. Offer information and available resources voluntarily. 3.) Suggestions for researchers A. Use “zhuyin” in questionnaires for surveys B. Researchers should conduct surveys face to face. C. Ample amount of time should be given for interviews and surveys.

Abstract:
Communist Upbringing under Stalin: Young Communists and War in a Socialist Society, 1929-1945 examines Stalinist mass youth culture in the period of the Great Terror and World War II. For the Bolsheviks, youth were the “new people” who would someday build communism. Despite Stalinist assertions that the country was marching inexorably toward communism, though, there was no blueprint for raising a socialist generation. “Communist upbringing”—the program of moral socialization of the Young Communist League (Komsomol)—absorbed the violent atmosphere of the 1930s and 1940s. Even as it surrounded them with violence, Stalin’s regime provided young people with opportunities, shaping socialist youth culture and socialism more broadly through the threat and experience of war.

Abstract:
This wide-ranging study demonstrates that Woolf, despite her agnostic upbringing, was profoundly interested in, and knowledgeable about, Christianity as a faith and a socio-political movement. Jane de Gay provides a strongly contextual approach, first revealing the extent of the Christian influences on Woolf’s upbringing, including an analysis of the far-reaching influence of the Clapham Sect, and then drawing attention to the importance of Christianity among Woolf’s friends and associates. It shows that Woolf’s awareness of the ongoing influence of Christian ideas and institutions informed her feminist critique of society in Three Guineas. The book sheds new light on works including Mrs Dalloway, To the Lighthouse and The Waves by revealing her fascination with the clergy, the Madonna, churches and cathedrals; her interest in the Bible as artefact and literary text; and her wrestling with questions about salvation and the nature of God.

During my last trip to Yale’s Sterling Library to reseach this book, I spent my fnal evening there sitting on the College Green, on a park bench a few yards away from the Central Church on the Green, keeping an eye out for the ghost of a Yale student who had played organ at that church in the years 1894–1898. Te Yale students and New Haveners who strolled by probably imagined that I was an old Yalie there for my reunion and reminiscing about the old days. Imagining that Charlie’s ghost could hear me, I said to him, “All that music was born when you were, wasn’t it? I mean, it’s great that you had that father and that musical upbringing, but ten million people could have had the same father and same upbringing and not done what you did, not been born with their brain wired for that vision. Tat music needed to get into the world, and you didn’t make it wait long, though the world kept it from getting heard a lot longer than you did.” And as I fnished my cigar and walked away, I heard in my head the stern octave B, followed by A and A♯, that begins that incredible ...

Abstract:
The chapter begins by discussing the culturally specific concept of vospitanie (‘upbringing’), which is placed in the context of the dialectics of ‘nature’ and ‘nurture’ and related to problems of social reproduction confronting the Russian educated strata in conditions of the empire’s modernization following the 1860s’ Great Reforms of Alexander II. In particular, the chapter examines the turning of vospitanie into a domain of knowledge, looking at the various constructions of a ‘science of upbringing’ (nauka o vospitanii). The latter was expected to be rooted in physiology and psychology, but in practice took on a number of different forms in the period between the 1860s and the 1900s. The core of this chapter focuses on the mobilization of parents from Russia’s educated classes into the scientific study of early child development. The chapter discusses: the construction of the figure of a pseudo-professional ‘mother-educator’ (mat′-vospitatel′nitsa) as a target of expert discourse; the rise of parents’ circles as frameworks for constituting new forms of expertise in child development that targeted the educated classes; the fostering in Russia of parent diaries as a method and genre for studying the earliest stages of child development; and finally, the attempt by the neuropsychiatrist Vladimir Bekhterev in the 1900s–1910s to transpose the study of early childhood from the unreliable hands of ‘subjective’ parents to the ‘objective’ setting of a lab-nursery at his Pedology Institute.

Abstract:
This chapter addresses military-patriotic education in Russia. The Russian state pays increasing attention to the military-patriotic upbringing of children to elevate patriotic spirit in society and to get a larger number of motivated young men join the armed forces. In 2015, Ûnarmiâ was founded to unite the country’s fragmented military-patriotic youth organisations. The movement aims to operate in all schools in Russia. By deconstructing the hegemonic discourse of military-patriotic education, I analyse the linguistic modes in which the legitimization of Ûnarmiâ is constructed. Discourses of heroism, masculinity, a beneficial and fun hobby, being citizen-soldiers, and military traditionalism include key strategies of legitimization processes for influencing audiences. Discourses suggest that rather than preparing young people for immediate war, Ûnarmiâ's purpose is to raise patriotic citizens who support the prevailing regime and contribute to solving the demographic crisis by repeating ‘traditional’ gender roles.

Abstract:
In 1934 Stalin declared that the USSR had achieved socialism and Soviet leaders sought stability in the new socialist state. A key aspect of creating stability was communist upbringing, the Komsomol’s new program for raising youth that shifted the main goal of youth activism from workplace norm fulfilment to character building in schools and sports. A rough proletarian ethos had before dominated in official youth culture but now youth leaders promoted traditional education and refined behavior. Increasingly, the league sought to militarize young men in paramilitary programs. Among young women, it now advocated conservative conceptions of female activists as young mothers.

Many modern families face problems that hinder optimum functioning as a family or make it even impossible. Numerous overlapping adverse phenomena, including, but not limited to, unemployment, poverty, helplessness as regards childcare and upbringing matters, addictions, family violence, chronic illness or disability are reflected in prob-lems within a family. The foregoing calls for a greater support provided by social services to the multiproblem families. One of the new forms of helping the multiproblem families is family assis-tantship that was introduced under the Act of 9 June 2011 concerning family sup-port and alternative care systems. Fam-ily assistant is responsible for carrying out individualized, in-depth work with a family experiencing difficulties in fulfilling the childcare and upbringing func-tions and is responsible for supporting them during the process of change. Pro-fessional support provided by a family assistant gives a chance to many fami-lies to overcome difficulties and prevents placement of children under alternative care.

Abstract:
This foundational chapter presents Mitchell’s writing as a barometer of the times that he inhabited. It sets out the book’s biographical and critical aims to examine the precise nature of the author’s literary achievement against the dramatic geopolitical background of the early decades of the twentieth century. Drawing authoritatively upon original sources, Mitchell’s short life is summarised as a triumph of innate talent over the social hardship and cultural poverty of his upbringing, from his origins in peasant society to service in the army and the airforce, thereafter moving to city life in Scotland and London, before finally settling in Welwyn Garden City. Mitchell’s personal experience of many of the key developments of the modern world, in country and city, at home and abroad, in wartime and peacetime, is shown to have shaped his personal ideology – particularly his left-wing radicalisation. The two central planks of his greatest writing, his love of nature and his fierce social commitment, are traced to his peasant upbringing as son to a poor Aberdeenshire crofter. His literary corpus is presented as a knowing response to the zeitgeist of the inter-war years, as a renunciation of outmoded Victorian modes and an embracing of the new.

Abstract:
Edwards did not invent the practice of mentoring. In the premodern world, identity was received rather than created, and mentoring served this traditional means of personal formation. This chapter investigates the significance of the cultivation of virtue for a flourishing life, and the ways in which discipline functioned as a strategy for virtue formation in the post-Reformation world. The examples of Richard Baxter and Cotton Mather are presented as significant landmarks in that story. Edwards’s own upbringing in New England, with its Puritan expectations of life and ministry, is unpacked as a way of understanding the innovation Edwards would ultimately pursue in a ministry of mentoring.

Abstract:
This chapter explores the influence of Schenker on Babbitt’s theoretical views, analytical prose, and, most importantly, his compositional techniques. Beginning with a discussion of his upbringing in the New York City of the 1930s, surrounded by intellectual refugees fleeing Nazi Germany, the chapter details how Schenkerian organicism influenced Babbitt and how it intersected with his other, often quite divergent, interests. The metaphor of organicism is excavated in Babbitt’s writings and examined for its heuristic utility. Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz, another predecessor Babbitt repeatedly cited, is discussed as an additional potential influence. Babbitt’s principal compositional techniques—serial arrays, the time-point system, and cross-references—are reconstructed in light of his Schenkerian principles. Readers new to Babbitt’s music will find the basic outlines of his compositional approach surveyed here.

Abstract:
In this chapter, I focus on a writer who got her start writing poetry and prose for the cheap popular press: Frances Brown. Like Cook, Brown was working class, but her impoverished upbringing as the daughter of a postmaster in a remote Ulster village placed her on a lower rung of the social ladder than Cook with fewer resources at her disposal. She lost her sight to smallpox when she was eighteen months old and learned about the world by listening to her siblings’ lessons and having family members read aloud to her. Once she began writing, her sister Rebecca served as her amanuensis. She began her career contributing poetry to the Irish Penny Journal, later published her work in the Penny Magazine, and developed an extensive career contributing poetry and prose to Chambers’s Edinburgh Journal. Her careful navigation of the market for popular literature reveals the importance of cheap media formats (with differing levels of copyright protection) in a fashioning a writing career. Even though Brown’s work was often repurposed by scissors-and-paste journalists as if it were free content within the public domain, she was successful in establishing a celebrity identity and publishing her work in book form.

Abstract:
The instrumentarium of this research is based upon the achievements of interpretive anthropology by C. Geertz and includes a number of our developments implemented within the concept of ethicizing mythological consciousness (a special component of the interdisciplinary system of four concepts which is being developed by us). These developments include: a) eight fundamental principles of Jewish upbringing which are implicit principles of upbringing (view of life, behavior) according to the Decalogue and are based on the concept of man and the Universe represented in the Ten Commandments; b) an interpretive ethnological model “The Decalogue and Harmonizing Hermeneutic Maxims of Obligatoriness: An Aspect of Upbringing.” The narratives by Raisa Lvovna Gandelman, born in 1903 in Chisinau, serve as materials for the study. Raisa Lvovna’s childhood and youth memories about the way her mother was treating her when the girl was sick, Ruhele’s recollections of her father, a proposal of marriage made to her at the age of seventeen, etc., are analyzed. The revealed hermeneutic maxims are identified as ethnocultural specificity of shaping the epoch of “new humanism in the 21st century” (UNESCO).

Abstract:
The interpretive ethnological model “The Decalogue and Harmonizing Hermeneutic Maxims of Obligatoriness: An Aspect of Upbringing” is developed within the framework of a noetic interdisciplinary system of our four concepts (concept of humanization of myth; concept of megamodern; concept of ethicizing mythological consciousness; concept of aesthetic meaning). This system is based on the works by many outstanding scholars, including the achievements of interpretive (hermeneutic) anthropology by C. Geertz, the ideas of J.J. Wunenburger, K. Hubner, V. Frankl, E. Fromm, N. Berdyaev, J. Ortega y Gasset, K. Jaspers, etc. In the interpretative model, the eight “implicit principles of upbringing (world perception, behavior) according to the Decalogue” revealed by us are applied: these principles are based on the concept of man and the Universe represented in the Ten Commandments. This model allows examining distinct hermeneutic maxims as a sort of ethnocultural specificity of shaping the epoch of “new humanism for the 21st century” (UNESCO). A Family Portrait in the Midst of Chisinau Landscape, memoir prose by Susanna Cușnir, is examined according to this model. One of the revealed hermeneutic maxims reads: “The Universe is such that man can follow his creative impulses at any age”.

Именно эколософия может являться тем каркасом, который через мировоззрение свяжет природную и культурною системы в единое целое. the article deals with the issues of qualitative changes taking place in modern society. The generator of these changes is the sixth scientific and technical revolution and the transition from a man-made society to an information society. The author emphasizes the need to form a new worldview, which will make it possible to implement this change not in a revolutionary, but in an evolutionary way. Special attention is paid to the education system, which is the basis for the progressive movement of society in these transformations. There is a need to shift the focus from technical changes taking place in society to the human being, his development, upbringing, and education. According to the author, the driver of these processes can be ecophilosophy as a worldview aspect of the transformations taking place in society. Ecophilosophy can be the framework that connects the natural and cultural systems into a single whole through the worldview.

Abstract:
The paper sought to investigate how first year University student’s-teachers understand and instil appreciation of the beauty of Setswana language. Since the proverbs are carriers of cultural values, practices, rituals, and traditional poetry, they are rich in meaning, they can be used to teach moral values for the sake of teaching character building among the students and teaching Setswana at the same time. Proverbs contain values of wisdom, discipline, fairness, preparedness, destiny, happiness, and efforts. Proverbs are short sayings that contain some wisdom or observation about life and or role-play and to use a few of the proverbs to reinforce the meaning, using proverbs as a pedagogical strategy, the researcher has observed that student teachers find it difficult to learn and teach learners at school. Students-teacher’s think and feel about how they conceptualize proverbs, how they define their knowledge and use of Setswana proverbs. The lecturer observed how the nature of proverbs are linked to the culture embedded in the language. In Setswana language there is a proverb that says, “Ngwana sejo o a tlhakanelwa” (A child is a food around which we all gather) which implies that the upbringing of a child is a communal responsibility and not an individual responsibility. Put in simple terms, a child is a child to all parents or adults, since a child’s success is not a family’s success but the success of the community. In doing so, the paper will explore on how student-teachers could make use of proverbs to keep the class interested in learning Setswana proverbs. As a means of gathering qualitative data, a questionnaire was designed and administered to student-teachers and semi-structured interviews were conducted with student teachers. The findings revealed that despite those students-teachers’ positive attitudes towards proverb instruction, they did not view their knowledge of Setswana proverbs as well as the teaching of proverbs. The paper displays that proverbs constitute an important repository of valid materials that can provide student-teachers with new instructional ideas and strategies in teaching Setswana proverbs and to teach different content, which includes Ubuntu and vocabulary and good behaviour. Proverbs must be taught and used by teachers and learners in their daily communication in class and outside the classroom in order to improve their language proficiency.

There are some challenges in Izhevsk State Agricultural Academy that their participants have been facing since the new educational standards started implementing, for example, choice in using a proper approach in educating. Nowadays educators are in permanent quarantine, administrative and structural changes; it demands prompt reflection, active professional actions, as well as the searching mental and physical resources in working successfully. Exchange of various experiences in teaching is important too. The studying of using distance technologies at the Academy allows claiming that the distance format of educating students has some advantages in comparison with the traditional classroom teaching approach. However, it is effective in solving only some educational tasks. Students need "face to face" interaction. There is a clear understanding of most lecturers that digital environments do not upbringing youth. For these as well as some other reasons, the optimal strategy of educational activities at the Academy is reasonable blended learning.
