Abstract:
The structure, stability, and bonding character of fifteen (Ng-H-Ng)+ and (Ng-H-Ng’)+ (Ng, Ng’ = He-Xe) compounds were explored by theoretical calculations performed at the coupled cluster level of theory. The nature of the stabilizing interactions was, in particular, assayed using a method recently proposed by the authors to classify the chemical bonds involving the noble-gas atoms. The bond distances and dissociation energies of the investigated ions fall in rather large intervals, and follow regular periodic trends, clearly referable to the difference between the proton affinity (PA) of the various Ng and Ng’. These variations are nicely correlated with the bonding situation of the (Ng-H-Ng)+ and (Ng-H-Ng’)+. The Ng-H and Ng’-H contacts range, in fact, between strong covalent bonds to weak, non-covalent interactions, and their regular variability clearly illustrates the peculiar capability of the noble gases to undergo interactions covering the entire spectrum of the chemical bond.

Kaakibat na ng pananampalatayang Katolisismo ang debosyon sa mga santo lalo na kung ang mga ito ay nagdudulot ng grasya sa kani-kanilang buhay. May mga kahilingan ang bawat tao na sa kanyang pananaw ito ang makakapagdulot ng kabutihan sa kanyang buhay. Isa sa mga debosyon na masasabing impluwensya na rin ng Kristiyanismo sa Pilipinas ang pagsasayaw at paghiling ng anak, asawa (o kasintahan) at trabaho sa Obando, Bulacan. Sa buong kapistahan, sayaw ang banal na ritwal na idinadayo ng mga tao bilang tulay o instrumento na siyang nakakapanlapit sa mga pintakasi o patron upang maatim ang kani-kanilang mga kahilingan. Ang kapistahan ang isa sa pinakamanipestasyon ng pananampalataya sa Diyos sa pamamagitan ng mga santo. Social media is a catch-all term for various internet applications that allow users to create content and interact with each other. There are good and bad effects of social media on students, one of the good and bad is the factors or websites. One of its websites is the easy access or easy way to disseminate or share information. News that everyone is interested in knowing, such as class subsidies, news about the government or articles. On the other hand, young people become more open-minded to fellowship or friendship. Sometimes even if they don't know each other personally, they are added as friends or added to people who can see the content of their profile. That’s why sometimes young people often get bogged down in posts they don’t like, and this often leads to rocky outbursts of violent and unwelcome words. Sometimes young people today become too judgmental, perhaps because of what they see on social networking sites, freedom of expression even when we are hurting.

Accurate and highly-granular channel capacity telemetry of the cellular last hop is crucial for the effective operation of transport layer protocols and cutting edge applications, such as video on demand and video telephony. This paper presents the design, implementation, and experimental performance evaluation of NG-Scope, the first such telemetry tool able to fuse physical-layer channel occupancy readings from the cellular control channel with higher-layer packet arrival statistics and make accurate capacity estimates. NG-Scope handles the latest cellular innovations, such as when multiple base stations aggregate their signals together to serve mobile users. End-to-end experiments in a commercial cellular network demonstrate that wireless capacity varies significantly with channel quality, mobility, competing traffic within each cell, and the number of aggregated cells. Our experiments demonstrate significantly improved cell load estimation accuracy, missing the detection of less than 1% of data capacity overall, a reduction of 82% compared to OWL, the state-of-the-art in cellular monitoring. Further experiments show that MobileInsight-based CLAW has a root-mean-squared capacity error of 30.5 Mbit/s, which is 3.3× larger than NG-Scope (9.2 Mbit/s).

The main object of the master thesis was to familiarize with optical networks, describe the latest current technology of passive optical networks and create a simple simulation of our chosen technology. This thesis was divided into several parts. The first part deals with passive network architecture. I illustrated the basic functional elements which are present in optical networks. I described the active elements and principles of data transmission in the distribution network. To conclude this chapter I described the different standards that are defined for the passive network. In second part I familiarized myself with key parameters and their adverse effect on the transmitted signal. Another part deals with the new technologies that are defined for the next generation of passive network NG-PON. I described the principles of data transmission in these networks and their advantages and disadvantages. The last part deals with creating custom simulations of technology defined by standard NG-PON using OptSim 05.02 Subsequently I have collated all the results of the various technologies and show the advantages and disadvantages of each.

RBS 70 was introduced 1978 in Sweden and developed to be counter threats on the battlefield. This weapon is efficient against both conventional and small targets. Main components of the system are stand, sight and missile in container. RBS 70 NG with three legs is named as MANPADS configuration and has requirements for the natural frequency in launching direction to 4-6 Hz when placing it to a concrete ground.This Master Thesis has focus on vehicle integrate system, which requires legs to be removed from the MANPADS configuration and put it on a platform placed on a vehicle. For the vehicle integrated system 3.5 Hz will be acceptable as the lowest natural frequency. Four different concepts were purposed and evaluated for the mechanical interface between RBS 70 NG system and weapon platform: Existing platform with fix interface between RBS 70 NG system and platform where the thickness of the roof plate is 5 mm (named as reference model). Modified platform with thick plate (thickness of 30 mm) and fix interface between RBS 70 NG system and platform. Existing platform with damped interface between RBS 70 NG system and platform where the thickness of the roof plate is 5 mm. Modified platform with thick plate (thickness of 30 mm) and damped interface between RBS 70 NG system and platform.The final concept should meet the main requirements of SMU (Stabilized Mirror Unit) and simultaneously keep natural frequency for RBS 70 NG system within requirements.A theoretical evaluation of the longitudinal stiffness for the dampers has been calculated in the report and inputted as the value of the dampers in ANSYS R18.1. Modal analysis and harmonic response analysis was performed for all proposed concepts.Magnification ratio calculation for a system without dampers will illustrate that the upcoming amplitude for the 5 mm plate will amplified more than 30 mm plate at coherent frequencies.By studying the results it illustrates that a plate with thickness of 30 mm helps to minimize the disturbance in elevation direction but not in azimuth direction. To minimize the disturbance in all directions concepts with dampers will be a satisfied solution.

Our life is affected by our choices, once made we are bound by them. The materials that I use in my exhibition speak to my ideas about community and harmony. By placing familiar everyday objects such as discarded chairs and boat sails in an art installation, I am attempting to challenge social norms that shape one's destiny by exploring broader possibilities. The physical tensions in the work are created through tying, binding, pulling, stitching, and assembling to manifest the state of co-dependence and interconnectivities between the objects and materials. I approach my practice as a vehicle to express something about our human experience, and by transforming everyday materials and found objects into new forms and structures, I wish to connect art and ephemeral everyday experience and forge new meanings.

Sendo assim, é preciso continuar a progredir na descoberta de novas soluções que permitam superar estas questões. Para que isso seja possível, será aqui apresentado um estudo das redes de próxima geração em termos das opções para existentes para combater as limitações actuais tentando obter uma direcção para os próximos anos. Neste documento é apresentado um estudo das redes de acesso anteriores a NG-PON2, são procuradas em projectos actuais de grande envergadura e em publicações actuais de grupos de investigação de relevo tendências que contribuam para os vários requisitos de NG-PON2.
Nowadays, the common understanding is that the new access networks in optical fiber can provide unlimited capabilities; however, in reality, the practical aspects of the implementation, the architectural and network equipment performance options often lead to limited capacity values, although far superior to those currently available for copper networks. Therefore, we must continue to progress in finding new solutions to address these issues. To make this possible, a study of next-generation networks will be presented here, presenting the options available to tackle the existing constraints and to try to get a direction for the following years. In this document, a study of the access networks prior to NG-PON2 is presented, as well as trends in current projects in major publications and in relevant current research groups that contribute to the various requirements for NG-PON2.

Nowadays, there is the perception that new optical fiber access networks can provide unlimited capabilities, but the reality is different. The practicalities of implementation, the architectural options and performance of network equipment almost always lead to a limited capacity. However, optical fiber networks have much greater capacity than the existing copper networks. Therefore it is essential to continue the search for new solutions to address these issues. To make this possible, is presented here a study of next generation networks in terms of options to tackle the current constraints, and to obtain a direction for the upcoming years, where they fit coherent optical networks, which are seen as a strong possibility to fulfil NG-PON2 requirements.

Along with privacy and security, the growth of demand from the consumer for higher bandwidth presents one of the most important modern challenges in telecommunications infrastructures. The researchers were encouraged to nd not only e cient but also the economically viable solutions capable of meeting the growing needs of the consumer. Optical communications are the way that can accompany this growth. The Passive Optical Network (PON) is an architecture that shares the ber bandwidth among several users. There has been a constant study under this topic for the purpose of using all the ber abilities and to nd new solutions to keep the access network simple. Photonic Integrated Circuits (PICs) are a technology that emerged to help the complexity of the hardware that exists nowadays. It is a single chip capable of integrating numerous optical components, which leads to a reduced complexity, size and power consumption. These are the important characteristics that make the PICs a powerful tool to use in several applications. This dissertation presents a monolithic PIC transceiver in the context of Next Generation of Ethernet Passive Optical Network (NG-EPON) which aims to design and implement integrated optical circuits for future access networks. The transceiver architecture is able to be used as an Optical Network Unit (ONU) with a 4 channels approach for 100 Gb/s solutions. The present work contributed for the FUTPON project supported by P2020.
Em par com a privacidade e segurança, a crescente procura do consumidor por maiores larguras de banda apresenta um dos mais importantes desafios modernos das infraestruturas de telecomunicações. Esta procura incentiva assim a investigação de novas soluções não são eficientes, mas também economicamente viáveis, capazes de satisfazer as crescentes necessidades do consumidor. As comunicações óticas apresentam ser o meio apropriado para acompanhar este crescimento. A Rede Óptica Passiva (PON) e uma arquitectura usada para distribuição de fibra ótica ate ao consumidor final. Esta tecnologia permite dividir a largura de banda de uma única fibra por diferentes clientes. Tem havido um estudo constante no âmbito deste tópico para conseguir tirar máximo partido das capacidades da fibra e de modo a encontrar novas soluções para tornar este método mais simples. Os Circuitos Oticos Integrados (PIC) sao uma tecnologia que surge para ajudar na complexidade do hardware existente hoje em dia. Consiste num único chip capaz de integrar vários componentes óticos, o que leva a uma diminuição da complexidade, tamanho e redução do consumo de energia. Estas características fazem com que seja uma tecnologia vantajosa para uso em diferentes aplicações. O desenho e a implementação da arquitectura do transrecetor em formato PIC no contexto da Next Generation of Ethernet Passive Optical Network (NG-EPON), e o principal objectivo desta dissertação onde visa o desenvolvimento circuitos óticos integrados para redes oticas de acesso futuras. Esta arquitectura devera ser utilizada como Optical Network Unit (ONU) contendo 4 canais para atingir 100 Gb/s. Este trabalho contribuiu para o projecto FUTPON suportado pelo P2020.

Every organization has a corporate image (beyond its control) which is mainly formed by its corporate identity (which it can control). This means that organizations have to manage their images. A positive image is particularly important for non-profit organizations, since these organizations depend on the goodwill of their publics for their existence. NG Welsyn is a well known welfare organization, famous for its bond with the Dutch Reformed church. Its two main sources of income, namely the state and members of the church have different opinions about the spending of funds. The state expects NG Welsyn to play a role in transformation, while members of the church want their needs to be catered for first. This, along with the decrease in funds from church members forced NG Welsyn to research its image among Dutch Reformed church members. In order to determine the image of NG Welsyn, an external public relations audit was formed through the use of questionnaires, focus groups and semi-structured interviews. Theoretical knowledge with regard to corporate image and identity as well as attitude formation was used as theoretical framework within the context of strategic communication management by non-profit organizations. The attitudes of church members on the elements of corporate identity were researched to determine the organization's image. The results show that the church members don't have a positive or negative image of NG Welsyn, since they don't have enough information about the organization. There is currently no relationship between the two parties. The main conclusion is that NG Welsyn can improve its image by the strategic management of communication with important publics.

Com este trabalho pretende-se estudar e apresentar as tecnologias PON correntes actualmente, as suas características principais e alguma interpretação de como estas conseguem satisfazer os requisitos impostos. Vários standards para PON têm vindo a ser desenvolvidos ao longo dos anos e, considerando que a necessidade de melhores características de serviço é contínua, surgiram as redes ópticas passivas de próxima geração. As NG-PONs prometem satisfazer as exigências dos novos serviços, garantindo melhor qualidade de serviço global que os seus antecessores. Neste trabalho as recomendações do ITU-T e do IEEE são estudadas e apresentadas em detalhe e, como corolário, são comparadas por forma a identificar as suas diferenças e semelhanças. Com base nos conhecimentos obtidos, e com o intuito de validar por simulação alguns dos limites impostos pelas normas são feitas várias simulações de uma rede PON, seguindo a norma 10G-EPON. São variados parâmetros como distância da fibra, número máximo de utilizadores e perdas máximas por inserção de forma a poder avaliar o seu efeito e enquadrar com a norma obtida.
Passive Optical networks (PONs) promise to overcome the requirements of users and service providers to achieve higher data rates than conventional cooper Technologies. This work study and present the actual PON technologies, their main features and how they can successfully fulfill the imposed requirements. Several PON recommendations have appeared all over the years and due to ever increasing demand of improved services, PON networks evolved to Next Generation Passive Optical Networks. NG-PONs come to respond to the new quality and demanding services, ensuring better global performance than their antecessors. The ITU-T and IEEE recommendations are studied and presented in detail, and by corollary are compared in order to easily comprehend the differences and similarities between them. Based on the knowledge obtained and with the aim of validate by simulation some of the boundaries imposed by the recommendations, several simulations of a PON network are performed, following the 10G-EPON standard. Parameters like, fiber distance, number of users and maximum insertion loss are changed to evaluate their impact in the PON performance and to frame them in the recommendation.

Abstract:
The aim of the thesis was to introduce the standard ITU-T G.989. Introduction deals with passive network architecture, which clarifies the basic functional elements that occur in optical networks. Been described active components and the very principle of data transfer in the distribution network. Next section is devoted to new technologies that are defined for the latest generation of passive networks NG-PON2. There have been a principle of data transmission in such networks and their advantages and disadvantages. I described the principle of data transmission in such networks and their advantages and disadvantages. The practical part deals with creating a functional network of NG-PON2 also using optical amplifiers. Another suggestion was using a digital CATV transmission of QAM modulation under optical networks on a dedicated wavelength of 1550 nm. Also simulate the coexistence of this new standard with previous PON technologies. Finally, the work consisted in implementing the Miller’s code into OptSim v5.2 environment, which compared the transmission characteristics of each line of codes with this Miller’s code. All practical simulations were designed and simulated in program OptSim v5.2.
