Abstract:
The article defines national goals and analyzes their role in the life of the state and society. It is noted that N.N. Moiseev did not create an integral system that would describe in detail the national goals, but the ones that he formulated could signifi cantly enrich and warn perestroika and post-perestroika Russia; their relevance is indisputable to this day. The author reveals the close connection of national goals not only with the economy and with the positive processes that will occur in the future, but, first of all, with the moral atmosphere that exists in the society. The "Russian TEACHER system" is considered.

Abstract:
Since electrify is booming around the world as one of the global warmings, many lives aspect in trying to be nice to environment by trying to go electric. So did in Indonesia, there has been a change in public spending behaviour from conventional to electronic, even on the most basic element, i.e., transportation. The purpose of this study is to identify critical factors affecting consumers’ adoption of ride-hailing applications in specific fully electric vehicle provider by using the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) approach. This study uses convenience sampling method. Data then compiled from self-administered questionnaire, with a total usable sample are 146. The respondents are Beam Rover fully electric bike consumers. The study employs PLS-SEM technique to analyse the relationships among variables. The findings show effort expectancy, performance expectancy, social influence, and facilitating conditions positively influence behavioural intention to use Beam Rover, fully electric bike ride hailing service. The results enrich the empirical evidence of consumer behaviour in term of ride hailing in fully electric bike transport modes. At the end of this study, theoretical and practical contributions are provided.

Full text
Abstract:
Background: Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) occurs in 7% of the adult population. The relationship between neurodegenerative diseases such as dementia and sleep disorders have long attracted clinical attention; however, no comprehensive data exists elucidating common gene expression between the two diseases. The objective of this study was to (1) demonstrate the practicability and feasibility of utilizing a systems biology approach called network-based identification of common driver genes (NICD) to identify common genomic features between two associated diseases and (2) utilize this approach to identify genes associated with both OSA and dementia. Methods: This study utilized 2 public databases (PCNet, DisGeNET) and a permutation assay in order to identify common genes between two co-morbid but mutually exclusive diseases. These genes were then linked to their mechanistic pathways through Enrichr, producing a list of genes that were common between the two different diseases. Results: 42 common genes were identified between OSA and dementia which were primarily linked to the G-coupled protein receptor (GPCR) and olfactory pathways. No single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) were identified. Conclusions: This study demonstrates the viability of using publicly available databases and permutation assays along with canonical pathway linkage to identify common gene drivers as potential mechanistic targets for comorbid diseases.

Full text
Abstract:
Nowadays the importance of thermomechanical engines is recognized worldwide. Since the industrial revolution, physicists and engineers have sought to maximize the efficiency of these machines, but also the mechanical energy or the power output of the engine, as we have recently found. The optimization procedure applied in many works in the literature focuses on considering new objective functions including economic and environmental criteria (i.e., ECOP ecological coefficient of performance). The debate here is oriented more towards fundamental aspects. It is known that the maximum of the power output is not obtained under the same conditions as the maximum of efficiency. This is shown, among other things, by the so-called nice radical that accounts for efficiency at maximum power, most often for the endoreversible configuration. We propose here to enrich the model and the debate by emphasizing the fundamental role of the heat transfer entropy together with the production of entropy, accounting for the external or internal irreversibilities of the converter. This original modeling to our knowledge, leads to new and more general results that are reported here. The main consequences of the approach are emphasized, and new limits of the efficiency at maximum energy or power output are obtained.

Bai, Fangfang, Xuebin Qi, Ping Li, et al. "Depression of Groundwater Table and Reduced Nitrogen Application Jointly Regulate the Bacterial Composition of nirS-Type and nirK-Type Genes in Agricultural Soil." Water 12, no. 12 (2020): 3459. http://dx.doi.org/10.3390/w12123459.

Full text
Abstract:
Despite the known influence of nitrogen fertilization and groundwater conditions on soil microbial communities, the effects of their interactions on bacterial composition of denitrifier communities have been rarely quantified. Therefore, a large lysimeter experiment was conducted to examine how and to what extent groundwater table changes and reduced nitrogen application would influence the bacterial composition of nirK-type and nirS-type genes. The bacterial composition of nirK-type and nirS-type genes were compared at two levels of N input and three groundwater table levels. Our results demonstrated that depression of groundwater table, reduced nitrogen application and their interactions would lead to drastic shifts in the bacterial composition of nirS-type and nirK-type genes. Structural equation models (SEMs) indicated that depression of groundwater table and reduced nitrogen application not only directly altered the species composition of denitrifier bacterial communities, but also indirectly influenced them through regulating soil nutrient and salinity. Furthermore, the variation in soil NO3−–N and electrical conductivity caused by depression of groundwater table and reduced nitrogen application played the most important role in altering the community composition of denitrifier bacterial communities. Together, our findings provide first-hand evidence that depression of groundwater table and reduced nitrogen application jointly regulate the species composition of denitrifier bacterial communities in agricultural soil. We highlight that local environmental conditions such as groundwater table and soil attributes should be taken into account to enrich our knowledge of the impact of nitrogen fertilization on soil denitrifier bacterial communities, or even biogeochemical cycles.

Taylor, Crispin. "‘It’s All in The Timing’ – A Research Project that explores the complexities in the relationship of Actor to Audience, in Musical Theatre." Thesis, Edith Cowan University, Research Online, Perth, Western Australia, 2021. https://ro.ecu.edu.au/theses/2434.

Full text
Abstract:
This research project is interested in the communicative transaction that occurs between actor and audience, in theatrical performance, and how this relationship can differ within nonmusical, and musical theatre. In non-musical theatre, for example, there can be a very intimate and immediate “dialogue” between actor and audience, that can alter each moment of a performance, making possible a unique co-creation between the two entities. In this way, no two performances are ever alike, the actor “reads” the audience and adjusts their performance according to specific responses from them. This communion allows a flexible elasticity in the outcome, and the actor, in this case, can have absolute control of the timing. In musical theatre, however, control of timing can be taken out of the hands of the actor, the integrity of the transaction between them and the audience can be compromised, and therefore the performance can lose its potential for uniqueness and originality. Music itself, with its inherent structure, rhythm and tempi can dictate the flow of many elements during a musical theatre performance often compromising, or even disallowing flexibility or any sense of improvisation for the performer/s. This makes the musical theatre performer’s task - that of, creating a seemingly spontaneous and organic performance, guided by each audience’s unique contribution, marrying at least three disciplines of acting, singing, and dance - a much more challenging task. The project has investigated the ways in which the musical theatre performer, the actor/singer/dancer negotiates these hurdles, as compared to the actor in non-musical theatre. How does this performer navigate the requirements of each discipline to create a performance with the same sense of integrity as the non-musical performer? How too, can one create a production of a musical that enables the same sense of audience investment as in a nonmusical production? Finally, how can we train our musical theatre students to have a greater understanding of the actor-audience relationship, particularly given the limitation of the number of actual performances for each production? The cornerstone of my “Practise as Research” was a production used as a vehicle to explore and exercise my findings. At the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA), with the assistance of nine 2nd Year Music Theatre students, I reimagined a production of David King and Nick Enright’s musical Mary Bryant. An audio/visual recording of one of the performances is included as part of this thesis. I directed the original professional production of Mary Bryant at Sydney’s Ensemble Theatre in 1998. Although favorably reviewed and a financial success, I was at the time, unsatisfied with the results, particularly with concern to the performer to audience interaction. This new production therefore tested and demonstrated ways of improving and responding to these shortcomings through original and unique processes, bringing about some expected but also unexpected results. The findings will be of interest to directors of musical and non-musical theatre, and to teachers of musical theatre, particularly those teaching the acting component.
