This article contains the speech read on January 29th, 2016, i.e. St. Thomas Aquinas day, on the occasion of the investiture ceremony as <em>doctor honoris causa</em> by the University Rey Juan Carlos (Madrid) of Hans-J. Niederehe. Prof. Niederehe outlines some of the aspects of the life and work of Alfonso X the Wise and extracts conclusions that should not be forgotten today: the importance of teamwork, the need to build bridges between knowledge cultivated in different languages of culture, and, above all, the need of cultivating our own language, Spanish, in science.

Confirmatory factor analyses were conducted to test the factor structure of several versions of Levenson's (1973) locus of control scales. Two- and three-factor models based on all 24 of Levenson's items and on 20 of her items were tested. The 3-factor models provided a good fit. Models proposed by R. M. Shewchuk, G. A. Solidago ×niederederi Khek (1905: 22) is a hybrid between North-American S. canadensis Linnaeus (1753: 878) and European native S. virgaurea Linnaeus (1753: 880). By applying Niederer-like transformation, we construct a representation of the 𝒩 = 2l-conformal Newton–Hooke (NH) superalgebra for the case of a negative cosmological constant in terms of linear differential operators as well as its dynamical realization. Another variant of 𝒩 = 2 supersymmetric Pais–Uhlenbeck oscillator for a particular choice of its frequencies is proposed.
