Abstract:
In this paper, I begin to develop a theory called Paradise on the Cheap - in so doing, I intend to provide a rival to David Lewis' modal realism. Paradise on the Cheap grounds possibilia in the features of the actual world; and so, it does not require realist commitments to the existence of non-actual worlds and individuals. I explain modality, conterfactuals, content, and properties in terms of recombinations of actual-world features, second-order mathematical schemata, and the similarity relations which hold between these things and parts of the actual world. Because the ontology of Paradise

Food programs that provide employees free meals have become increasingly popular at tech companies. Through the use of multiple research methods including photo documentation, observations, and interviews, this thesis will explore the foodscape created by Airbnb’s food program. This thesis seeks to understand the ways in which a company can promote health, sustainability, and commensality in a food program and avoid inadvertently causing negative health outcomes. The research presented here will help offer insights into how offering free meals can affect the culture of the workplace and th

NeuroEvolution besides deep learning is considered the most promising method to train and optimize neural networks. Neuroevolution uses genetic algorithms to train the controller of an agent performing various tasks. Traditionally, the controller of an agent will be encoded in a genome which will be directly translated into the neural network of the controller. All weights and the connections will be described by their elements in the genome of the agent. Direct Encoding – states if there is a single change in the genome it directly affects a change in the brain. Over time, different forms of
