It is found that at spheroidizing by 0.7 % Fe63Ni30Mg7 and inoculation by 1.5 % Fe20Si60Ba20 causes the formation of inclusions of nodular graphite with nodularity exceeding 90 % and a structurally-free cementite structure is obtained. Penicillium marneffei has also been found to cause natural infections in several species of rodents in the endemic areas and rodents can be infected experimentally. Microstructural adaptation of cast iron alloys by inoculation is a well-known practice to swell their mechanical properties. In foundries, several inoculants have been used to refine grain structure, and to obtain uniform distribution of graphite flakes. Inoculation is one of the most critical steps in cast iron production. The effectiveness of inoculants depends on melt temperature, method of addition, type of inoculants, and holding time.
