Background/Objectives: Dental age estimation plays a critical role in pediatric dentistry, orthodontics, and forensic medicine. The Nolla method, widely applied globally, has shown variable accuracy across different populations. This study aimed to evaluate the applicability and accuracy of the Nolla method in estimating the dental age of Romanian children and to identify potential discrepancies between dental and chronological ages. Methods: A retrospective analysis was conducted on 860 panoramic radiographs from pediatric patients aged 3–15.9 years in Oradea, Romania. The Nolla method was ap

Introduction: Dental age estimation has been performed by numerous methods worldwide. This study was done to evaluate and compare the validity and accuracy of dental age estimation by Demirjian, Nolla and Willems methods in Nepalese children. Materials and Method: A comparative cross sectional study was conducted on 280 orthopantomography of Nepalese children aged 5-14 years in Kantipur Dental College from December 2020 to September 2021. Dental age was calculated by three methods and difference with chronological age was examined. Descriptive statistics were presented as mean ± SD and median

Although believed to be reliable in children, dental age estimations have reportedly shown variations in their accuracy levels, indicating regional differences. The present paper aims to study the error threshold of the Nolla, Demirjian and Willems methods for age estimation of North Indian children. Digital orthopantomograms of 168 children aged 3-15 years were analyzed for the three methods. Demirjian dental age was found to be closest to the mean chronological age, as indicated by the p-value of paired t-test. This study aimed to investigate the treatment options for the delayed eruption of mandibular premolars and identify the predictors of spontaneous eruption using panoramic radiography. The prevalence of delayed mandibular premolar eruption in this retrospective analysis, comprising 254 patients (aged 9 - 15 years), was 5.19%, with no significant difference based on gender. The mandibular second premolars were most affected (4.39%) compared to the first premolars (0.76%). No significant difference in prevalence was observed between the left and right sides. The urban morphology contains its inherent evolutionary laws. Exploring the inner rules of cities is helpful for people to conduct urban research and design. Unlike the traditional research methods of urban morphology, the neural network algorithm provides us with new ideas for understanding urban morphology. Autonomous driving is an attractive and controversial topic in the field of mobility research. With the continuous technical progress in the field of autonomous vehicles, scientific research in this area is also growing exponentially. This is equally true for the topic of sustainability. From the two mutually reinforcing factors, the risk of information overload for researchers can be derived. This paper attempts to address this complex of issues in a systematic manner. To this

Abstract This chapter explores a question central to the development of Christian Latin poetry: Was there a way for classically trained authors to accommodate pagan literary traditions within a rigorous Christian life? Inquiry begins with the case of a young poet and member of Augustine’s retinue named Licentius, who, in Augustine’s De ordine, is prompted to consider whether there is room for verse writing within Christian life. Licentius’s subsequent conversion illustrates the ethical negotiations that Roman authors faced in balancing classical literary interests against the demands of an inc
