Four herbicides (Accord, Accord+Escort, Garlon/ Tordon, and Krenite) and two cutting regimens (cut/spray and cut/delay spray) were tested in an Ohio power-line corridor. In all herbicide/cutting combinations, tree populations showed some recovery two years after treatment. Although Accord+Escort applied in a cut/spray treatment resulted in the lowest population of trees after two years, this treatment also had the most persistent negative effect on non-target ground cover. Civil society organizations were disenfranchised, as were many countries, at COP-15 in Copenhagen in December 2009. The main forces that contributed to this disenfranchisement were not, however, increased registration and the merging of movements within civil society. Poor planning did contribute to the disenfranchisement; however, in cooperation with state actors, this was also to some extent overcome at COP-15. Six adult females in one group were observed during the non-birth season (no infants) and the birth season when three females had given birth to an infant. Abstract A formulated nanoparticle dispersion increases the cross linking of waterborne protective coatings without reducing the formula shelf life. Among the cross linking-related improvements are MEK rub resistance, humidity and immersion resistance, tensile strength and blocking resistance. The findings are in accord with a non-covalent mechanism of cross linking. The cross linking occurs quickly after the coating has been applied, however, the evaluated coating formulations are typically stable in the can even under heat-ageing conditions.
