We describe a nonoverlapping domain decomposition algorithm which can be applied to scalar advection–diffusion reaction problems and the Oseen equations. A convergence result is proved for the continuous algorithm in case of the Oseen equations and stated for the other case. We give some suggestions for the design of the interface conditions used within the algorithm and present some numerical examples.
