Six decades after the historic sit-in movement, the city of Greensboro, North Carolina, once an epicentre of the Civil Rights Movement, still exhibits de facto segregation along racial divides. The division within the city of Greensboro poses a question that many places in the U.S. struggle to answer: how to address a painful history while promoting optimism for the future. This paper advocates for the use of storytelling in children’s picturebooks which have been cited as one of the most effective tools for encouraging social action and promoting positive societal values. The challenge of evolving meaningful classroom instruction in the tertiary level is faced with lots of constraints. A few of these are the inadequacy of textbooks and instructional materials and ineptness in the part of the teachers on the teaching methodologies/ approaches to use that impact knowledge and skills to the students; and importantly, appropriating technology and instituting initiatives to impact quality education. The concerns, so far, have not been fully addressed, hence, the researcher in his desire to enhance technology instruction has designed and developed a Proposed Online I

Objective: In this research project, we sought to determine whether the influenza season severity would affect either the hospital-based employee illness surveillance system results or would correlate with state influenza-like illness (ILI) visits. The politics of collective memory, over what counts as “official knowledge,” is crucial in education. As some readers may already know, there have been a large number of interesting case studies of textbook controversies over the years, as well as a long history of studies that critically focus on the political an
