L'objectiu de la investigació és l'estudi dels orígens del Noucentisme literari català entre 1901 i 1906, aproximadament. L'estudi se centra en la figura de Josep Carner, però fa referència també als altres components del seu grup intel·lectual (principalment Jaume Bofill, Rafael Masó, Joan Alzina i Emili Vallès). The present thesis studies in depth a perspective of the noucentista movement focusing on the professional career of the architect Ricard Giralt Casadesús (1884-1970) and particularly on his urban design approach and social thought.
