Abstract:

The purpose of the article is to analyze the current condition and development prospects for the Russian LNG sector. Taking into account the specifics of the functioning of the Russian state, the author chose the realistic paradigm (neoclassical realism), which is useful in the context of showing the relationship between internal structures and external activity of the state. The author argues that Russian expansion in the LNG sector is the result of the lobbying capacity of Novatek – the largest private gas producer in Russia. Although the state budget incurs significant costs related to the implementation of Novatek projects, in particular due to fiscal preferences, it also achieves the possibility of achieving the objectives in external and internal energy policy. Novatek’s expansion increases Russia’s share in external energy markets; at the same time LNG expansion, it is used for internal purposes. Novatek’s dominant position in the LNG sector is confirmed by both already implemented projects and plans for further expansion. The factors favoring Russian expansion are constant state support for Novatek projects, high level of internationalization of implemented projects and favorable forecasts on energy markets. The strong competition between currently dominant LNG producers and the risk of internal competition between Russian exporters are among the key long-term challenges.

Abstract:

The article presents data on the study of the effect of foliar water-soluble mineral fertilizer NOVATEK Solub K-Max 10-5-30 on the biochemical composition and commercial quality of apple fruits. A rise in vitamin C from the introduction of NOVATEK at a rate of 2.5 kg/ha indicates the effectiveness of this drug for optimizing the content of ascorbic acid in fruits. An increase in the content of monosaccharides and a decrease in disaccharides were found for all the studied rates of consumption of agrochemicals. The use of mineral fertilizer “Novatek Solub K-Max” contributed to increase the dry weight of fruits. The application of this mineral fertilizer is recommended for inclusion in the industry regulations for Apple cultivation as one of the elements of the technology.

Abstract:

The article presents data on the study of the effect of non-root water-soluble mineral fertilizer Novatek Solub K-Max 10-5-30 on productivity, mass and size of the fruit, depending on the application rate of the preparation, as well as indicators of growth activity of apple trees of Krymskoe cultivar. Obtaining high rates of yield increase from the introduction of the preparation Novatek also indicates that it is an active stimulator of increasing the productivity of apple. The use of this mineral fertilizer is recommended for inclusion in the industry regulation of apple cultivation as one of the technology elements.

Abstract:

The realities of the Russian Arctic in recent decades make it possible to determine a special phenomenon of corporate development risks, which can be structured into resource, institutional and ecosystem risks. The resource risk reflects the contradiction between the conjuncture of the global resource markets and the specific conditions for the development of unique deposits located in the Arctic zone; institutional risk — between federal norms and rules for the development of natural resource deposits and local specific conditions for the construction and operation of resource facilities in the Arctic; ecosystem risk reflects the contradiction between large-scale economic activity and the fragility of Arctic natural systems. As a result of a comparative assessment of the development risks of three Arctic corporations in Russia, it was found that the highest risk is typical for the facilities of Norilsk Nickel, the lowest — for NovaTEK, and Gaz-promneft is in the middle. Using the OLI paradigm of John Dunning, it can be argued that Arctic corpora-tions respond to the challenge of development risks by adapting their spatial, institutional and organiza-tional structure to the conditions for the development of resources and resource territories. The spatial factor is most efficiently used by Norilsk Nickel, then NovaTEK, in the strategy of adaptation to develop-ment risks, with the receipt of benefits from localization and the creation of a regional cluster, while Gaz-promneft is the least effective. The institutional factor is most effectively used by NovaTEK and Gazprom-neft, and the least by Norilsk Nickel. The organizational and structural factor as a tool for adapting to risks is most skillfully used by Gazpromneft, weaker — by NovaTEK and Norilsk Nickel. Integrally, the best positions in the strategy of adaptation to development risks are held by Gazpromneft, and the worst positions by Norilsk Nickel, which has the most significant contrast between the size of development risks and the means of adaptation to them. Strengthening the internal competencies of the company and its corporate innovation system is the most important way to successfully cope with the high risks of corporate development of resources and spaces of the Arctic.

Abstract:

The research paper focuses on identifying the conditions in which Yamal LNG can effectively finance construction work through private investment. The Case study of the Yamal LNG liquefied natural gas production complex, the ratio of the shares of public and private investment in the project for the construction of the Utrenniy terminal is considered. The authors analyze possible ways of financing construction works: using Yamal LNG's own funds, Bank lending, and a loan from NOVATEK PJSC, as the main shareholder of the project. Calculations are made and the expediency of issuing and receiving a loan from PJSC «NOVATEK» for the construction of the terminal «Untrenniy» in the port of Sabetta is proved. Regression analysis confirms the possibility of repayment of the loan from the main Yamal LNG activities is proved. As a result of the study, methods of analysis of solvency, liquidity, autonomy, cash flow analysis, forecasting and generalization methods are used. This analysis allows to take into account the scale of activity of one of the largest operators for the supply of liquefied natural gas in Russia.

Abstract:

A comparative analysis of three large Russian companies – PJSC “Novatek”, PJSC “Gazprom”, PJSC “Surgutneftegaz”, – is presented. The study relevance is caused by the gas industry strategic importance of the country as a whole as well as the specifics of its current situation: a large-scale drop of world gas prices, the ruble depreciation in relation to the US dollar, the introduction of sanctions on Russia. The financial and economic activities of the company PJSC “Novatek” is examined in the article. Various approaches to the analysis and identification of the company’s activities potential are studied. The investment attractiveness of competitors’ companies is evaluated. The research methodology included: complex, empirical, retrospective types of analysis (since the calculations of the companies’ financial conditions indicators are based on their consolidated financial statements data as of December 31, 2015); comparative, horizontal and vertical types of analysis; grouping method is categorization. As a result methodological principles of carrying out an economic analysis of gas producing companies’ activities are formed in order to make effective management decisions in conditions of risk and uncertainty.

Traffic on the road is increasing constantly and uncontrollably, that makes necessary to build roads from fundamentally new materials. An alternative to modern asphalt- and cement concretes is epoxy polymer concrete surpassing them in performance figures and durability. However, high cost of organic binder limits its wide application in the road sector, and it leads to the necessity of studying of plastics and petroleum industries waste. The possibility of obtaining of epoxy polymer concrete is based on bicomponent epoxy primer waste of the enterprise Novatek-Polymer and sludges of Syzran and Kuibyshev refineries oil. The developed compositions are recommended for foundations and airfields pavements and roads of Ist, IInd technical categories for all road-climatic zones.

Abstract:

The article touches upon the most urgent problem of creating the stock portfolio of a commercial bank, where studying the strategies and tools of the bank’s investment activity and using mathematical models for its assessment help to identify the relationship between profitability and the risk of investing in securities. As a result of applied analysis and modeling of the portfolio structure, the optimal portfolio option is selected, which corresponds to a given level of risk and profitability, as well as to the investment strategy chosen by the bank. There has been analyzed the portfolio structure with specified characteristics of risk and profitability, according to the statistics of previous years. The types of documents have been systematized according to the compliance with the strategy of managing the portfolio of profitability growth, liquidity and risk minimization. Using the models of Markowitz, Tobin and other researchers of probabilistic portfolio assessment through covariance indicators and a correlation coefficient, there have been found the values of return on assets that can change in one direction or have a multidirectional nature, and allow to calculate dependence between the values of return on securities in the portfolio. There have been considered the following models: a portfolio model based on calculating the level of stock returns of LUKOIL JSC, Novatek JSC, Yandex; a portfolio model that includes risk-free assets with the highest level of reliability (government short-term bonds, federal loan bonds); capital asset pricing model which describes dependency between the risk and the required profitability. Based on these calculations there has been inferred the possibility of developing specific areas of the banking business in the field of securities transactions, including: saving funds (providing protection against inflation); capital growth (focus on the securities that have the potential for growth in market value); profitability (purchasing securities in order to obtain dividends on shares and interest on debt securities); liquidity (investments into financial tools that can be sold at any time at favorable prices); risk minimization. The results of the conducted analysis of correlation and regression of the securities portfolio have revealed the most preferred types of securities for growing profitability that are in the bank's portfolio: shares of the Russian oil company LUKOIL, the Russian gas company Novatek, Yandex cIA, as well as the federal loan bonds (based on the terms of calculating history dynamics since May 1, 2018 up to May 1, 2019)

Abstract:

The article deals with the problem of adaptation of the Russian oil and gas company (Novatek, Russia) to the rapidly changing external environment, the avalanche of data from competitors, and the need to filter important information for business development and the prosperity of the industry as a whole. The approach is based on the system of integrated software monitoring of key business processes at the enterprise developed by the authors—from the formation of the idea of a new product to its implementation to paying customers. The scientific novelty lies in the use of an optimization model that allows for minimizing the maximum losses of the investor at all levels of decision-making, from the distribution of capital between companies, to the optimization of internal reserves to increase the competitiveness of the company. The toolkit is a minimax model that allows you to redistribute the shares of investor influence at the portfolio level, and then within the business processes of each company selected by investors, in order to achieve the optimal solution in accordance with the selected estimated indicators. Application of the well-known portfolio investment models of Markowitz, Tobin, Sharp, etc. is not possible due to the lack of necessary data on the basis of which the probabilistic parameters involved in the model are estimated. Even if we get them, it is necessary to take into account the level of correlation influence of the technological process in the composition of each subsystem, which is unacceptable for the data used, as it leads to a strong increase in errors. Using minimax and a systematic approach allows you to minimize such errors by choosing a balanced concentration of distributed assets for both the investor and the buyer. To this end, a three-way analysis of the company’s development was carried out and a technology for comprehensive improvement of the company’s activities was developed in the following areas: the company’s rating in the industry, financial condition, and interaction with counterparties using merchandising technologies. Tools for optimal image zoning at the Novatek site using the minimax approximation criterion have been developed. The technology provides a procedure for creating a comfortable mode of image perception based on high-tech visualization of merchandising, zoning of the screen area, and a mathematical approach that allows you to develop a calculation algorithm.

Abstract:

The main purpose of this research is to determine whether Russia being under Western economic sanctions could significantly strengthen its presence in the Asia-Pacific with a pipeline gas and LNG supplies. Based on the study of the Russia’s current and planned gas projects in the eastern part of the country and in the Arctic, that are realized under sanctions’ pressure, the authors concluded that most probably by 2030 Moscow can reach this strategic objective. To resist Western sanctions against the Russian energy industry Moscow launched a program of accelerated import substitution, and as a result they have only partially achieved their goals. Considering Russia’s largest gas exporters, they resorted to different strategies to counter sanctions. The state company Gazprom postponed plans for offshore gas exploration in the Arctic and continues to prioritize gas pipeline projects which reinforce its dependence on China. In contrast, with the help from the RF government and foreign investors, the private company Novatek successfully creates a powerful infrastructure for producing LNG in the Arctic and for delivering it to Europe and the Asia-Pacific.

Increased global competition has led to a slowdown in Taiwan’s domestic semiconductor industry growth, which has resulted in many semiconductor companies reducing their investments and or seeking mergers and acquisitions (M & As) to increase market power, expand their business territories or increase their competitive edge. However, as there is general uncertainty regarding the efficiencies to be gained from these M & As, there has been an increase in M & A supervision. While past research has explored company operations and management efficiency after mergers, there has been less focus on potential mergers. Therefore, this study used a resample slacks-based measure (RSBM) and merger potential gains models to evaluate potential merger efficiency gains. Data on 29 Taiwanese-listed integrated circuit (IC) design industry firms were collected to evaluate the efficiency of potential M & As, from which it was found that the potential M & As efficiencies had positive and negative values, indicating that efficiency gains were not guaranteed. A positive value was found for a potential M & A between MTK & NOVATEK and MTK & DAVICOM, which meant that a potential M & A would increase operating efficiencies and reduce costs.

Abstract:

The subject of this study is corporate social and environmental responsibility. The object is the assessment of responsibility information disclosure quality based on the methodology developed by the authors and responsibility model. Analysis of the disclosure quality is based on data from public sources — annual nonfinancial reports of companies. This study shows examples of assessment methodology application for six Russian oil and gas companies — «Gazprom Neft», «Lukoil», «Rosneft», «Zarubezhneft», «Surgutneftegaz» and «Novatek» — based on their 2014 annual reports. The purpose of the research is to present a methodology for assessing the information disclosure quality in companies’ public sources of information about their social and environmental responsibility practices. The main results of the study is to present the methodology with practical examples of its use. The uniqueness of the study lies in the fact that the methodology is based on indicators of the Model of corporate social and environmental responsibility which is developed by the authors’. The practical significance of the study is determined by the possibility to apply the developed methodology for assessing the disclosure quality of social and environmental responsibility for companies from other sectors and based in other countries. Study the disclosure of social and environmental responsibility in the companies’ annual reports is part of a larger study of environmental and social responsibility of Russian oil and gas companies that have their projects in the Arctic region.

Introducción: La halterofilia al requerir levantar el mayor peso posible necesita optimizar diversas variables del rendimiento deportivo, incluyendo la técnica deportiva como componente determinante en el proceso de dirección del entrenamiento deportivo aplicado. Objetivo: comparar biomecánicamente el clin olímpico en halterofilia, teniendo presente las diferencias entre deportistas de alto nivel y novatos de la Federación Deportiva Provincial de Orellana. Métodos: investigación descriptiva-correlativa de orden transversal, estudiado dos grupos independientes de 5 deportistas de halterofilia de alto nivel, y 6 de nivel novato. Se investigan los resultados en tres variables (AFR: articulación femorotibial rotuliana, ACF: articulación coxofemoral y TE: tiempo de ejecución), calificando el movimiento motriz cualitativamente, y realizando una comparación en cada variable de análisis. Resultados: Las medias registradas fueron superiores en los atletas de alto rendimiento (AFR: 118.4°; ACF: 85° y TE: 3.18s) que en los atletas de nivel novato (AFR: 111.17°; ACF: 81.17° y TE: 3.67s), no existiendo diferencias significativas entre grupos independientes, obteniendo la evaluación cualitativa de la trayectoria de la barra un nivel superior en atletas de alto rendimiento (media de 2.8 puntos: Bueno-Muy Bueno) que los atletas novatos (media de 1.5 puntos: Malo-Bueno). Conclusiones: El estudio realizado reafirma que las medias alcanzadas en las variables ángulos de las rodillas, ángulo de la articulación coxofemoral y tiempo de ejecución fueron mayormente positivas en los atletas de altos rendimientos que, en atletas novatos, requiriendo ampliar los estudios con muestras mayores a las investigadas.

Abstract:

The article substantiates the need to introduce project management in the enterprise, identified problems associated with the transition to project management. Taking into account the classical design constraints based on the scenario distribution, a conceptual scheme for allocating finance and resources in the system of measures to counter threats to economic security was proposed. The assessment of the level of economic security "at the micro, meso and macro levels and determined the threshold values of determinants in the system of economic security. The actual values of the indicators are related to the threshold values and the level of the economic level corresponding to them is determined according to the selected determinants - stable, pre-crisis, crisis and critical. On the example of PJSC "NOVATEK", the target and optimal values of the indicators that do not correspond to the stable level of the enterprise development are determined. Based on the methods of set-theoretic analysis, a plan of measures was developed to counteract threats to economic security, taking into account project limitations on time and financial resources. According to the proposed plan, critical chain threats are selected to achieve the target level of economic security. The method of optimal distribution of time and financial resources based on the calculation of the fuzzy goal membership function and fuzzy solution is proposed, which allows to achieve maximum effectiveness of measures to achieve the target and optimal level of economic security. It is concluded that the proposed methodology allows to formulate an action plan for achieving the target / optimal level of economic security in the conditions of a limited budget and the expected time of the onset of threats, to vary the budget allocated for ensuring economic security and predicting these indicators for the near future.

Abstract:

Relevance. Based on the appeal of the Governor of the Murmansk region to the Operational Headquarters on preventing import and spread of a new coronavirus infection in Russia due to the aggravation of the epidemiological situation and in order to localize the spread of COVID-19, the Russian Emercom allocated forces and capabilities, including an airmobile hospital (AMH) and a temporary accommodation center, in the region. AMH was deployed at the industrial site of the Center for the construction of large-scale offshore facilities of NOVATEK-Murmansk LLC and subcontractors in Belokamenka village, where more than 10 thousand people worked and lived on a rotational basis.Intention. Summarize and analyze the experience of the AMH of Emercom of Russia under field conditions of an outbreak of the new coronavirus infection.Methodology. Daily reports on the activities of Emercom of Russia AMH were analyzed for the period from April 17, 2020 to June 12, 2020.Results and Discussion. Field camp deployment and functioning of Emercom of Russia AMH integrated into a regional medical and preventive institution are described. The data on admitted patients, scope and types of diagnostic tests are presented. It is shown that AMH as a separate outpatient diagnostic department of the Kolsky Central District Hospital should provide special and sanitary treatment, patient referrals and an algorithm of personnel activities, and also comply with antiepidemic measures. During the period of AMH activities in the field, 1678 shift workers got medical advice, 3086 diagnostic studies were carried out for shift workers and employees of the Emercom of Russia. COVID-19 was detected in 500 persons, including 328 cases of mild disease, 98 cases of moderate severity, and 74 severe cases, without case fatalities. The outbreak and spread of the new coronavirus (COVID-19) infection as an emergency in the subject of Russia and at the large industrial and construction site were brought under control.Conclusion. This experience will help improve the activities of the Emercom of Russia AMH under field conditions.

Sobre una población de 102 alumnos/as de primer ciclo de la ESO, pertenecientes a dos IES de la zona Sur de la Comunidad de Madrid (chicos =52; chicas =50), con una media de edad de 12.6±0.5 años. Para analizar las diferencias se utilizó el test de ANOVA de un factor con el contraste post-hoc de Scheffé. Los resultados más importantes muestran que: 1º) los alumnos expertos se diferencian de las alumnas expertas y los alumnos y alumnas novatos en las pruebas de pases, regate y control de balón; 2º) Las alumnas expertas no presentan casi diferencias significativas con los alumnos novatos, aunque si manifiestan diferencias significativas con las alumnas novatas en todos los tests excepto en los pases; 3º) Los alumnos novatos se diferencian de las alumnas novatas en todos los tests excepto en los pases. Los resultados ponen de manifiesto la necesidad de diseñar las sesiones de Educación Física de acuerdo a las necesidades y nivel de partida del alumnado.Abstract: The aim of this study centres on analysing the differences between gender and competence level in the technical execution of diverse techniques of soccer. Then a study has been realized on the skills of dribbling, ball control and passes in soccer on a population of 102 pupils of compulsory secundary education school in the south of Madrid (males = 52; females= 50), with an average age of 12.6±0.5 years. The one way analysis of variance was done with the Scheffé post hoc test to find out the differences between all the groups. The main results showed that: 1º) expert male pupils were diferentiated from female pupils (both novice and experts) and novice male pupils in all the tests; 2º) the expert female pupils did not show statistical significant differences from novice male pupils, and also reflected statistical significant differences from novice female pupils in all the tests with the exception of passes test; 3º) novice male pupils were differentiated from novice female pupils in all the tests with the exception of passes test. The results obtained allow us to enhance the importance to design tasks according to the pupils needs in physical education.

Neste trabalho, apresentamos nossa proposta inicial de pesquisa: cremos que um tradutor novato deva ter bons instrumentos cognitivos para mobilizar recursos e habilidades como atenção, atitudes e tomadas de decisões para seu trabalho; deve conseguir gerenciar seu estresse para ter uma produção que pelo menos atinja as expectativas de quem o contrata. Graças à multiplicidade de assuntos, terminologias e responsabilidades, há esgotamento. Intentamos descrever o problema, equacioná-lo e apontar alternativas parciais para a formação desses profissionais, atendendo, assim, mais atentamente, às exigências do mercado. No que segue, há uma proposta de reformulação ad hoc do modelo holístico de PACTE com relação à prática de tradutores novatos. RESUMO Esta pesquisa tem como ponto de partida uma análise das necessidades de um público de estudantes universitários colombianos que desejam melhorar suas competências na escrita de textos acadêmicos. Propomos primeiramente analisar o processo de produção escrita apresentando um panorama de diferentes propostas teóricas. Após a análise, nos concentraremos na noção do “escritor intermediário”, como uma etapa no processo do desenvolvimento da competência escrita. Trata-se então de um escritor que, contrariamente aos escritores novatos, pode articular, compreender e realizar tarefas bem estruturadas em nível de pensamento, o que revela a capacidade de transformá-las. Tais qualidades permitem situar o escritor no “modo de compreensão de conhecimento” devido às características que apresenta diante do processo de escrita. Nesse sentido, ele não deve ser considerado um escritor novato, pois tem a capacidade de ir além da simples enunciação de conhecimento, no entanto, não pode ser considerado um “escritor experiente”, já que o seu trabalho de escrita não demonstra ainda a sua capacidade de transformação daqueles conhecimentos.

En el presente trabajo se muestra con dos ejemplos cómo la diversidad de lenguajes químicos en lugar de favorecer la comprensión de los estudiantes, puede actuar como fuente de obstáculos que dificultan la comunicación en el aula. Así mismo, se analizará con otros dos ejemplos cómo el discurso con el que se enseña la disciplina también es potencial generador de errores en los estudiantes, cuando ellos construyen sus modelos mentales idiosincrásicos a partir de un discurso recortado y simplificado, desde las mejores intenciones de realizar buenas transposiciones didácticas. Se plantea que un enfoque de análisis de la situación de aula como un encuentro comunicativo entre experto y novato conduce a una necesaria diferenciación entre "hablar química" y "comprender química".

Foram 20 entrevistas semiestruturadas a enfermeiros, trabalhado análise de conteúdo e os pensamentos de Donald Schön. As categorias levantadas: o enfermeiro rumo ao aprendizado crítico reflexivo; entendendo a performance do outro; e desenvolvendo o talento artístico profissional como líder da enfermagem. Os enfermeiros buscaram resgatar conhecimentos, utilizaram estratégias para aprendizado; observaram a performance do veterano; o acolhimento foi um fator facilitador ao aprendizado; falhas relacionadas a infraestrutura do hospital universitário desfavoreceram o aprendizado; ser líder e novato foi um desafio enfrentado pelos enfermeiros.

Partindo-se do pressuposto de que desde o aparecimento das tecnologias digitais na contemporaneidade as práticas sociais de leitura têm passado por mudanças, esta pesquisa apresenta uma análise de navegação e trajetos de leitura em uma revista digital e essa mesma impressa. Para tanto, foram realizados testes de leitura com um grupo de leitores. Tais testes ajudaram a compreender como eles lidam com diferentes organizações textuais e como se comportam no decorrer do processo de leitura. A revista escolhida para análise foi a Superinteressante. Para melhor qualificar esta pesquisa algumas observações foram realizadas durante os testes com os leitores. Tais observações foram seguidas de anotações e gravações em tempo real. Como suporte teórico, este estudo baseia-se nas pesquisas de Coscarelli (2009, 2010), Novaes (2009), Ribeiro (2009), entre outros. Apresento um levantamento do experimento e parece ser possível que, mesmo os meios digitais estarem inseridos na sociedade e que não existem leitores “novatos” nesses ambientes, é necessário que os leitores, com pouca experiência, adquiram habilidades de navegação que são imprescindíveis para uma busca de informação mais apurada e efetiva.

O objetivo deste estudo foi avaliar o efeito da aplicação de duas fontes de nitrogênio (ureia e NovaTec®) na produção da alface americana, nas condições de primavera, em Jataí-GO. Foram utilizadas mudas da cultivar de alface americana Lucy Brown, sendo avaliadas as características: massa fresca total e comercial, número de folhas, diâmetro e comprimento de caule. Verificou-se que todas as características avaliadas foram influenciadas pela adubação com ureia enquanto que NovaTec® influenciou apenas o comprimento de caule e as massas fresca total e comercial. A dose de 61 kg ha-1 de ureia em cobertura, proporcionou a maior massa fresca comercial.

This dispute concerns countervailing measures imposed by the European Union (EU) on imports of Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) from Pakistan. Pakistan has a ‘duty drawback scheme’ by which it remits import duties on input materials consumed in the production of a product that is subsequently exported. The European Commission considered that all duties remitted to a Pakistani PET producer and exporter named Novatex constituted a countervailable subsidy contingent upon export performance. Also, Pakistan has a programme through which it provides government-financed loans to certain qualifying companies. Pre-approved banks are prohibited from charging interest rates above a specified level. The European Commission considered that the loan conferred to Novatex under this programme constituted a countervailable subsidy.

The receiver delay has a significant impact on global navigation satellite system (GNSS) time measurement. This article comprehensively analyzes the difficulty, composition, principle, and calculation of GNSS receiver delay. A universal method, based on clock-steering characterization, is proposed to absolutely calibrate all types of receivers. We use a hardware simulator to design several experiments to test the performance of GNSS receiver delay for different receiver types, radio frequency (RF) signals, operation status and time-to-phase (TtP). At first, through the receivers of Novatel and Septentrio, the channel delay of Septentrio is 2 ns far lower than 65 ns for Novatel, and for the inter-frequency bias of GLONASS L1, Septentrio tends to increase within 10 ns compared with decreasing of Novatel within 5 ns. Secondly, a representative receiver of UniNav-BDS (BeiDou) is chosen to test the influence of Ttp which may be ignored by users. Under continuous operation, the receiver delay shows a monotone reduction of 10 ns as TtP increased by 10 ns. However, under on-off operation, the receiver delay represents periodic variation. Through a zero-baseline comparison, we verifies the relation between receiver delay and TtP. At last, the article analyzes instrument errors and measurement errors in the experiment, and the combined uncertainty of absolute calibration is calculated with 1.36 ns.

Este trabalho compara a percepção de atletas em formação desportiva (novatos) e em competição adulta (experientes), ao nível dos estilos de liderança dos treinadores, da compatibilidade com os treinadores e da satisfação com a liderança. Participaram 91 atletas do sexo masculino de andebol, incluídos na formação desportiva (n=59; "novatos") e competição (n=32; "experientes"). Foram usadas as seguintes medidas: Questionário Demográfico, Escala Multidimensional de Liderança no Desporto-2, Medida de Compatibilidade Treinador-Atleta e Questionário de Satisfação em Atletas. Devemos realçar dois resultados principais: os novatos avaliaram mais positivamente os estilos de liderança dos treinadores, evidenciaram maior compatibilidade treinador-atleta, e assumiram maior satisfação com a liderança; e as dimensões da liderança explicaram 32% da variância associada à compatibilidade treinador-atleta nos novatos e 43% nos experientes.

A justificativa do estudo baseia-se na necessidade de aprimoramento dos estrategistas e decisores novatos que trabalham no Centro de Apoio ao Desenvolvimento Tecnológico da Universidade de Brasília. A pesquisa visa propor, como principal resultado, iniciativas que possibilitem a existência de um ambiente propício à transferência de conhecimento entre os estrategistas e decisores experientes e os novatos, dentro da instituição estudada. Focando-se no resultado mencionado, buscou-se realizar a triangulação proposta no do Sistema de Aprimoramento de Estrategistas e Decisores Novatos, com as metodologias Learning Style Inventory e Janela de Johari. Objetivo: verificar competências para a Prática Baseada em Evidências entre enfermeiros novatos e seus preceptores. Métodos: estudo observacional, transversal, constituído por amostragem não probabilística a fim de se alcançar o número máximo de participantes. Foram realizadas entrevistas estruturadas utilizando-se Evidence-Based Practice Questionnaire para verificação das competências. Resultados: participaram 83,1% da população (n=104 enfermeiros), maioria de mulheres, jovens adultas. Em média, foram moderadas as competências para Prática Baseada em Evidências (novatos = 4,8; preceptores = 5,0). Ambos acreditam ser fundamental a utilização de evidências na prática. Entretanto, a avaliação crítica das evidências no cotidiano de atuação tem sido pouco recorrente entre eles. Definir tempo no trabalho para buscar evidências apresentou-se como dificuldade, sendo maior entre novatos (p=0,05). Preceptores apresentaram melhor habilidade em informática para busca de evidências (p=0,043). Conclusão: em geral, as competências para Prática Baseada em Evidências foram similares entre enfermeiros novatos e preceptores.

The general aim of this research was to optimise textural properties and to evaluate the possibility of producing ultra-filtrated low-fat cheese (7-9 % (w/w)), containing various concentrations of galactomannan and Novagel (0.1-0.5 % w/w), and assessing textural properties of produced low-fat cheeses and comparing them with full fat ones. According to the results, reducing fat implies increasing the hardness, cohesiveness, gumminess and chewiness of the tested samples. On the other hand, adding galactomannan gum and Novagel, and increasing their concentration, implies reducing all of the above mentioned textural properties. According to the results, increasing the amount of fat and using galactomannan and Novagel gum, implies increasing the adhesiveness and springiness of the tested treatments. The results showed that textural properties including hardness, adhesiveness, cohesiveness, gumminess and chewiness, of sample containing 9 % (w/w) fat, 0.5 % (w/w) galactomannan, and 0.3 % (w/w) Novagel were not of significantly different from the control sample and was selected as the superior sample. Multiple optimization of the low-fat cheeses textural properties via Response Surface Method (RSM) software showed that the treatment containing 9 % (w/w) fat, 0.1 % (w/w) Novagel and 0.46% (w/w) galactomannan fulfils 84 % of desirable properties of a full fat cheese.

Abstract:

Introduction: Management of pain after dental procedures is one of the most important issues for dentists. Non-steroidal antiinflammatory agents, such as ibuprofen, are one of the most commonly used medications to relieve pain. Recently a new medication, Novafen, has been introduced into the Iranian pharmaceutical market, which is a combination of ibuprofen, acetaminophen and caffeine. Considering the importance of management of pain after periodontal surgeries and a paucity of studies in this respect, the present study was undertaken to compare the analgesic efficacy of Novafen and ibuprofen in alleviating pain after periodontal surgeries. Materials and methods: In the present controlled randomized clinical trial, 30 systemically healthy subjects with moderate to severe generalized chronic periodontitis, who were candidates for flap surgeries were evaluated in two groups with 30 areas in each group (two areas in each patient). After the periodontal surgical procedures, the subjects in group 1 received Novafen capsules (containing 325 mg of acetaminophen, 200 mg of ibuprofen and 40 mg of caffeine) and the subjects in group 2 received ibuprofen (400 mg). The medications were selected from one pharmaceutical company and the patients only used the medications they received. The severity of pain was determined and compared at 3-minute, 1-hour and 3-hour intervals using VAS and 1, 2 and 3 days postoperatively using VRS. Results: Severity of pain at 30-minute interval in the Novafen group was significantly less than that in the ibuprofen group, with no significant differences at 1- and 3-hour intervals. However, VRS revealed significantly less pain 1, 2 and 3 days postoperatively in the Novafen group compared to the ibuprofen group. Conclusion: Based on the results of the present study, it can be concluded than Novafen can be more effective after periodontal surgeries in alleviating pain. However, its pain control capacity was similar to that of ibuprofen during the early postoperative hours, with better performance 1‒3 days postoperatively.Key words: Novafen; ibuprofen; pain relief; periodontal surgery; Analgesia;
