Field experiments conducted in a red sandy loam soll to investigate the direct and residual effect of FYM and NPK fertilizers on sunflower revealed that application of FYM at 20 t/ha with 50% of recommended NPK fertilizer increased the seed yield of direct and residue crops. The yield reduction in residue crop under FYM and NPK treatments was only 18 to 19 per cent as against 21 to 28 per cent under no FYM and no NPK treatments. Three experiments were conducted from 2014 to 2018 to examine the economics of yellow passion fruit production under different soil fertility management. In 2014, two yellow passion fruit genotypes, that is Conventional and KPF 4, were grown in the field and pot simultaneously under varying rates of poultry manure (PM), including 0, 10, 20, 30 and 40 t/ha.
