Due to the complex and variable climate structure in Southwest China (SW), the impacts of climate variables on vegetation change and the interactions between climate factors remain controversial, considering the uncertainty and complexity in the relationships between climate factors and vegetation in this region. In this study, the CRU TS v. 4.02 from 1982 to 2017 and the annual maximum (P100), upper quarter quantile (P75), median (P50), lower quarter quantile (P25), minimum (P5), and mean (Mean) of GIMMS NDVI were utilized to reveal the main and interaction effects of significant climate vari

Abstract The DLX homeodomain genes are part of the Drosophila distal-less family, originally identified in the forebrain of the developing mouse embryo. DLX1 gene is expressed also in the hematopoietic cells. Our previous data showed that patients with FLT3/ITD (internal tandem duplication) mutation representing about 35% of all acute myeloid leukemia (AML) cases have higher expression of DLX1 compared to non-FLT3/ITD AML patients. Further, FLT3 signaling was described to regulate DLX1 gene expression. In the current study we found an association between DLX1 expression level and overall survi

The two upper arms of that canal are separated by an osseous piece that was indicated as nasomaxillary crest (NMC) in fetuses and is located on the course of the septo-premaxillary ligament. The NMC, or septo-premaxillary crest (SPMC), was not studied previously in human adults. It was therefore performed a Cone Beam Computed Tomography study on a retrospective lot of forty-one cases, ten males and thirty-one females. Thetumor suppressor TP53 is among the most mutated genes in cancer, including many hematological malignancies in which it usually imparts more aggressive, chemo-refractory, and poor prognosis diseases. TP53 mutations are, though, remarkably rare in chronic myelomonocytic leukemia (CMML): affecting 2.4% of cases in a recent study ( Gurney et al, Leukemia 2023). We found pathogenic TP53 mutations ( TP53MT) in only 1.1% of 640 genotyped UK CMML patients. Abstract We report on the extinction properties in the fields around the clusters NGC 1854, NGC 1856, and NGC 1858 in the bar of the Large Magellanic Cloud. The color–magnitude diagrams of the stars in all these regions show an elongated red giant clump that reveals a variable amount of extinction across these fields, ranging from A V ≃ 0.2 to A V ≃ 1.9, including Galactic foreground extinction. The extinction properties nonetheless are remarkably uniform. The slope of the reddening vectors measured in the (V − I, V) and (B − I, B) color–magnitude planes is fully in line with the A V /E(B − V)
