Abstract:
The main goal of this paper is to examine the relations between the Bosnian Banate and the papacy during the thirteenth century, one of the most turbulent periods in the history of this interaction. The focus will be set on the development of the situation regarding the Bosnian bishopric, its position in the political turmoil, and its fate after the collapse of every chance for agreement. First, we will give a short overview of the periods that precede this time when this bishopric was the centre of two waves of the Christianization of these areas and the carrier of religious life during the late Antiquity and early Middle Ages. The main part of the paper is dedicated to the events from the first half of the thirteenth century, crucial period that shaped the future political and religious picture of medieval Bosnia. The final part of the paper will cover the longest lasting consequences of the aforementioned events: the cessation of official contacts between Bosnia and the Roman Curia, relocation of the Bosnian bishopric outside its territory, and the formation of the Bosnian church – an autocephalous organization that emerged on the foundations of the previous Catholic diocese.

Abstract:
Zusammenfassung The article explores the question to what extent Søren Kierkegaard’s journals, unpublished during his lifetime, manifest a Protestant work ethic in the sense of Max Weber. The journals bear witness to a daily writing process that provides information about Kierkegaard’s conception of his profession as a religious writer. They can be placed in the tradition of pietistic diaries and testify to the awareness of being called as an author. By focusing on the two terms produktivitet and virksomhed, which Kierkegaard uses to reflect on his own activity, numerous parallels can be drawn with Weber’s „concept of profession in ascetic Protestantism“. Accordingly, Kierkegaard speaks of an „intellectual capital“ that he has earned and that he leaves to a posterity without being able to dispose of the use of this inheritance.

Abstract:
The importance of the labyrinth and the mirror in the history of culture has never ceased. This article reflects on what they agree on and what can be learned from them. The effort to determine where these myths converge brings me to the theme of the monster, which, however, is not always the same. In the article I point out the differences: the Minotaur represents power and is born alongside the labyrinth; the mirror monster, on the other hand, is inside the subject, and it is also an outer voice — an alter ego. Ethical consequences can be drawn from these observations.

Neopentecostalism is the most important brazilian religious movement of the late modernity. Sociological analysis on that religious expression produced from the second half of the 1990 decade are more frequently judgments based on theological conceptions, than attempts to comprehend it as an genuine expression of modernity. We conceive neopentecostalism as an religious movement, which reinforce modernity, as much as reinforce itself in the modernity. Using secularization concept as an operator which enable transferring forces from transcendence to immanence, we conceive modernity as a historical period that sacralize immanence. On that context, we identify politics, economics and biomedicine as most proper fields in which that process became real. Modernity is, so our understanding, as a historical period in which the religious assumed different faces and is oriented by a telos of immanent cure of the human being and the world. Based on those presupposes, we defend the hypothesis that neopentecostalism reintroduce the vectors of economics and healing of individuals in religious field, as well as localize salvation in the tension between immanence and transcendence, focusing, nevertheless, on immanence. The ideas which base that process are located in the two theological constructs: the theology of spiritual battle and the health and wealth gospel. The body is transverse by of both theologies and in it occurs the immanent salvation. So we delimitate our research object: the multiplicity of expressions of body in the brasilian pentecostalism in the process of integral cure as immanent salvation, assuming our relationship with the research object interdisciplinary. As empirical basis we use also ethnographical procedures accomplished in the International Church of God Kingdom's Cathedral (ICGK) in Florianópolis - SC, as well as the large bibliography produce by the leader of ICGK, Edir Macedo, and an autobiography of a formed pastor. Based on our confrontation with the research object, we conceive the project Homo Sacer of Italian philosopher Giorgio Agamben, as a instigated and original interpretation horizon for the different body expressions in brasilian neopentecostalism. We evidenced that entrance of an individual in a neopentecostal church implicates offering (and capturing) its life to absolute power of Sovereign that reigns in that place, as well to the hands of the religious agents that govern the church. Neopentecostal temple is a field, in which every intervention on body is possible. The follower identification with neopentecostal doctrinal principles leads individual to sacralize productive acting, operosity, because is oriented to glorificate God. Money, as a immanent divine power and result of productive acting, is the most important sacrifice which is to do, mediating relationship between God and the human beings. We ask ourselves, if the relationship with the body based on the devotion to production and the unconditional offer of itself to an absolute power of life and dead, could be, in the limit of total subjetivation, a gap for subjectivity.

This dissertation analyzes the controversial extra ecclesiam nulla salus ecclesiological axiom. Many statements are made about the axiom that is being studied, however, one can see that some of these statements are illegitimate. By studying it, one can realize that it is an axiom which, when denied or mistakenly understood, denies the fundamental truths of the Church of Jesus Christ. At the risk of being interpreted in order to deny the fundamental truths of the Catholic faith, even inside the Church. Thus, from a historical reconstruction, through its theological reality and, finally, aiming its update by hermeneutical paths, we tried to read the axiom, through its contextualization and a faithful approach to the Scripture, Tradition and the Magisterium, what it really says and what it does not say.
A presente dissertação analisa o controverso axioma eclesiológico extra ecclesiam nulla salus.

Full text
Abstract:
Severino’s philosophical thought is, nowadays, one of the most impressive and debatable speculative itinerary in the maze of negativity: an authentic itinerarium mentis in nihilo. By the reading of his basic-thesis – the parmenidian denial of change, the assertion of the eternity of everything, and the “joy” of being – Severino’s system might be condescendingly estimated as a form of irenicism; despite that, the italian thinker achieves their own speculative outcome through a dense and suffered struggle with some of the most decisive issues of the classical thought: the structure of becoming, the statute of the contradiction, as well as the unresolved issue of not-being. The fourth chapter of his masterpiece, La struttura originaria, is an example of this kind of gigantomachia; in fact, contrarily to the apparent serenity of the logical rigor adduced, the resolution of not-being’s problem requires the difficult experience of diaporein: which is the capacity to go beyond the unthinkable but staying and living inside it. In this context, Aristotle is the philosopher that more than others inspires Severino’s speculative itinerary. Particularly because of his discussion of the bebaiotate arche. Infact the principle of Non-contradiction allows us to save the being from every refutation, but only exposing it to the momentary chiaroscuro of its negation. This contribution is therefore focused on the essential connection between eternity’s foundation and eternity’s refusal in E. Severino’s philosophical thought. The meaning of elenchos is clearly shown from the sixth paragraph of his Ritornare a Parmenide as an inspection of the self-annihilation of any denial of the incontrovertible truth. However: how can it be explained that the rejection is a “self-refutation”? Which conceptual elements are involved in the “self-restrain” maneuver? Which “enigma” stays hidden in the deaf powerlessness of negativity? Our critic work is aimed to address and answer the aforementioned questions.

Abstract:

Abstract:
The article discusses the changes in the structure of the Laundering of the Proceeds from Crime in the Criminal Law as a legal norm, that has a blanket reference, after the implementation of the FATF recommendations in Latvia, especially paying attention to the object of Laundering of the Proceeds from Crime from the point of view of the Progressive criminal law school as of de lege ferenda, seeking to establish what the person is responsible for in the case of laundering crime. Thus, by taking a brief view at the findings of the Latvian criminal law theory on the object of a criminal offense and the protection of economic, fiscal and monetary interests in the Criminal Law in Latvia, the author finds that one of the constituent elements of a criminal offense – i.e., the object (protected interest) – theoretically de facto does not exist in the Laundering of the Proceeds from Crime offence. Thereby the principle of Nullum crimen nulla poena sine lege as provided in the Section 1 of the Criminal Law is not respected. At the end of the article, the author offers his solution to the established problem – it is to restore the previously stroked reference to the predicate crime in the description of the laundering crime, thus restoring the unbreakable link of money laundering crime with predicate crime, which would reveal to the law enforcer the legal interest protected by the Criminal Law.

Abstract:
CGH null testing of aspheric optics was first demonstrated by MacGovern and Wyant in 1971 but has only recently become available as a commercial product. This talk describes a variety of CGH null test configurations using both commercial and customized interferometers. Several of the aspheres and their associated CGH nulls will be shown to exhibit various pathological traits.

Abstract:
The routine testing of aspheric optical components remains an elusive goal for the optical engineer. While significant improvements in the art of aspheric testing (especially in the use computer-generated diffractive nulls) have occurred over the last several years, the usual aspheric test situation still requires specialized null optics with relatively long lead times and added cost. As a result, the use of precision aspherics have been limited to situations that can afford or amortize these costs: large programs such as telescopes, high-volume products, or very specialized instruments. The irony is that these limitations are occurring at a time when manufacturing technology is capable of producing an ever-increasing variety of surface types and specifications, and sometimes these surfaces can be fabricated economically even in small quantities.

Full text
Abstract:
For the null Ronchi test1 it is necessary to produce, with the help of a computer, the null Ronchi ruling. When using this ruling the observed pattern is a series of straight interference fringes. In the present work, instead of using a computer, a big ronchigram or screen with straight bands that covers the surface under test is used, and the null ruling is photographed on a film at a certain observing plane. Once this process is completed, the obtained null grating allows the observation of the straight interference fringes, if the same surface is used. However, if the same null ruling is used for testing some other similar surfaces, a different Ronchigram will be seen if there are errors in the tested surfaces.
