Abstract:
Objective: This study aimed to determine how Turkish nursing students’ perceived nursing diagnosis. Methods: This descriptive and cross-sectional study was carried out with 655 nursing students in the Departments of Nursing in the Health Sciences Faculties of two universities, in the Aegean and western Black Sea Region, between 15 February and 5 April 2020. The Students Information Form and Perceptions of Nursing Diagnosis Scale were used for data collection. The independent samples t-test, one-way ANOVA test, and the Mann-Whitney U-test with Bonferroni-correction were used to determine the differences between the groups. Pearson correlation analysis was used to determine the effects of independent variables Results: The mean age of the nursing students was 21.12±1.39; 76.6% of them were female and 36.8% were in the second-year. 53.7% of the nursing students reported that they had difficulty in making nursing diagnoses. The overall Perceptions of Nursing Diagnosis Survey score of the nursing students was found to be 2.46±051. Statistically significant difference was found between Perceptions of Nursing Diagnosis Survey scores in terms of gender (p=0.012), the necessity of nursing diagnosis (p<0.001), and having sufficient knowledge about nursing diagnosis (p=0.019). Conclusions: The findings of this study have revealed that Turkish nursing students’ perceptions of nursing diagnoses are positive. It is important that use effective teaching methods in teaching nursing diagnoses in fundamental nursing education, to give more importance to nursing diagnoses. It is recommended to plan qualitative studies to in-depth examine students’ perceptions with randomized controlled studies involving innovative educational interventions in the future

Abstract:
Aimed to identify and discuss nursing diagnosis present in 50 Case Studies developed by students of graduation nursing of Federal University of Mato Grosso - Campus of Sinop, in a unit of clinical medical. Documentary research that addressed quantitatively the nursing diagnosis proposed using the Taxonomy II of NANDA-I (2009-2011). It was documented 82 different diagnosis, and covered all the 13 domains. The involvement of all the domains and the large variability of diagnoses identified suggested a possible holistic view of patient care and emphasized the individuality of the care plan. However, it may indicate an immaturity of these students, because often different diagnosis are related, and interventions set to one of these can solve the other, so opting for one avoids large health plans. Researchers and professors should conduct investigations and discussions to be identified teaching methods best suited to the teaching of the diagnostic process.

Abstract:
Research background, Documenting standard nursing diagnoses in Indonesia is very important, however in practice there are still many obstacles that result in incomplete documentation. Nursing diagnosis as a component of Nursing Care Standards needs to be carried out properly as mandated in Law no. 38 of 2014 concerning Nursing in article 30 that in carrying out their duties as nursing care providers, nurses have the authority to determine nursing diagnoses.Research purposesto evaluate the implementation of the standard documentation of Indonesian nursing diagnoses in the Inpatient Hospital of dr. R. Soetijono Blora.Research methodsThe method used is the Observational Survey with a sample of 60 respondents. The instrument used was a questionnaire for the implementation of documenting standard nursing diagnoses in Indonesia.Research resultobtained the implementation of the Indonesian Nursing Diagnosis Standards documentation in the Inpatient Hospital of dr. R. Soetijono Blora was generally good 66.7%, 18.3% very good, and 15% less good. Documentation implementation that needs to be improved includes writing actual nursing diagnoses that must be supported by major and minor signs / symptoms, writing nursing diagnoses of risk and nursing diagnoses that have not been maximized, and writing nursing diagnosis code numbers.Research discussionrelating to the implementation of the Indonesian Nursing Diagnosis Standards documentation in dr. R. Soetijono Blora got poor results, one thing that needs to be anticipated is that nurses who do not have sufficient experience need to do training and habituation to carry out the process of enforcing nursing diagnoses systematically.Research conclusions In general, the implementation of the Indonesian Nursing Diagnosis Standards documentation has been carried out well, but it is necessary to carry out training and habituation to carry out the process of enforcing nursing diagnoses systematically

Abstract:
Background: There is not enough information related to the accuracy of nursing and collaborative diagnoses established by nurses in psychiatric setting in Indonesia. Objective: The objective of this study was to identify the correspondence between nursing and collaborative diagnoses established and predicted by nurses. Methods: This was a descriptive cross-sectional study which employed 81 nurse respondents. Data were collected in 2013 using two types of questionnaires. The rst questionnaire was used to identify the most frequent nursing and collaborative diagnoses encountered by the nurses. The second questionnaire was used to identify data which were most frequently identi ed by the nurses. The second questionnaire was developed based on the sequence in the Intan’s Screening Diagnosis Assessment (ISDA).Results: The results indicated that there were 46 nursing diagnosis labels established by the nurses. Of the 46 nursing diagnosis labels, only 13 (28.26%) corresponded precisely to the labels in North American Nursing Diagnoses Association (NANDA) taxonomy (2012-2014) of nursing diagnoses. As many as 11 diagnoses (23.91%) could be included as key concepts (or diagnostic foci) in NANDA taxonomy. However, these nursing diagnosis labels did not written correctly as in NANDA labels. There were also 22 diagnosis (47%) labels not listed in NANDA taxonomy. Conclusion: The majority of nursing diagnosis labels did not match with nursing diagnosis labels in NANDA taxonomy.
