We present two experiments that examine the effects of colour transformation between study and test (from black and white to colour and vice versa, or from incorrectly coloured to correctly coloured and vice versa) on implicit and explicit measures of memory for diagnostically coloured natural objects (e.g., yellow banana). For naming and coloured-object decision (i.e., deciding whether an object is correctly coloured), there were shorter response times to correctly coloured-objects than to black-and-white and incorrectly coloured-objects. How does the brain translate an internal representation of an object into a decision about the object's category? Recent studies have uncovered the structure of object representations in inferior temporal cortex (IT) using multivariate pattern analysis methods. These studies have shown that representations of individual object exemplars in IT occupy distinct locations in a high-dimensional activation space, with object exemplar representations clustering into distinguishable regions based on category (e.g., animate vs. inanimate objects). Abstract:
INDOT spends at least 8 million dollars annually on geotechnical site investigations, not including the amounts spent by contractors. The laborious and costly job of data collection in geotechnical practice requires the efficient storing and organizing of this valuable data to develop correlations and trends in spatially varying geotechnical data. INDOT currently uses gINT software for managing geotechnical data and ArcGIS for storing boring logs and geotechnical reports. The INDOT geotechnical office is pursuing means to improve the efficiency of their operations by developing a GIS-based geo

Abstract:
Introduction and Importance: Retained surgical body (RSB) is unusual life-threatening condition occurred postoperatively. Despite its rarity, multiple protective and management policies were documented by policymakers. Case Presentation: A 62-year-old female patient presented with a few months’ history of abdominal mass. She presented to our hospital 8 years post-abdominoplasty that was performed in a private sector. The underlying cause of the abdominal mass was identified by abdominal and pelvic computed tomography (CT) with IV contrast as a surgically retained foreign tubular object. Then,

Abstract:
The purpose of the article is to study the possibilities of increasing the efficiency of a mathematical model by identifying the parameters of an object. A key factor for parametrization can be called the consideration of properties of the values of the model at a specific time point, which allows a deeper analysis of data dependencies and correlation between them. However, such a technique does not always work, because in advance it is impossible to predict that the parameters can be substantially optimized. In addition, it is necessary to take into account the fact that minimization reduces

Abstract:
Subsea pipelines and flow lines are periodically subjected to damaging events such as anchor impacts that result in massive pipeline movements, dropped object damage, internal/external corrosion damage, etc. Knowing how to assess these damage events is often challenging, especially considering the potential for product release. The cost of production shut-ins can be significant and avoiding un-necessary shut-ins is desirable. While most pipeline operators have company-level procedures and programs in place for responding to pipeline emergencies, at the current time there is no single resource
